About Bondi Boost

Bondi Boost is a professional, salon-quality haircare brand based in Sydney. Founded in March 2018, it’s since been releasing a wide range of popular hair, skincare and nutritional products.

The brand mainly aims to make people happier with their hair quality. For Bondi Boost, hair growth is a huge focus. There are products designed to improve hair thickness, texture, volume, and length. Other products focus on anti hair-loss, preventing hair breakage, and targeting flakiness and itching.

Bondi Boost products

Hair care and treatments

Regardless of your hair type, these include Bondi Boost shampoo and conditioners, dry-styling tools, leave-in treatments, serums, sprays, elixirs and oils. There are also a few haircare offerings for kids and dogs.

Vitamins

Nutritional support in supplement form is available for hair growth and hair loss support, along with other concerns like sleep restlessness, and stress and anxiety relief.

Skincare

The skincare range includes serums with Vitamins A, B and C, a hydrating day cream, gel cleanser, night cream, eye cream and a face derma roller.

What else is offered?

Duos and bundles

Bondi Boost bundles products for similar concerns or hair goals. These are cheaper than buying each product individually. For example, the Bondi Boost HG Duo costs $74.99 for both the 500mL shampoo and conditioner. Individually, these cost $44.95, resulting in around a $15 saving.

Monthly subscription service

If you’re a Bondi Boost regular, the brand provides a monthly subscription service. Customers can choose their own order and delivery schedule. The goods are delivered to your door, with a 10% subscriber discount.

Honestly, Bondi Boost HG didn’t live up to the hype. The texture felt heavy, the scent was overpowering, and after weeks of use I saw little to no improvement in hair growth. For the price, I expected better results.

disappointed with its durability. Despite not even using it very often, the internal part that supports and locks the attachments completely broke during my styling routine today. Now, none of the styling heads can connect to the wand, making the entire set completely useless. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that because it has been 20 months, the warranty is already over. Instead of offering a repair or a replacement part for the wand, the team informed me that my only option is to buy a whole new set. For an expensive hair tool, you expect it to last much longer than this, or at least have a brand stand behind their product with better support. I cannot recommend this product if it breaks this easily with light use and forces you to repurchase the entire kit.

Give it a go - results in one wash – I saw results after one wash. My hair was not a mess in the morning - it did not require the usual routine of serums and sprays to detangle and… Read more

defrizz. Hair was relaxed and easy to manage, plus it did not frizz out during the day as it normally would.

After my third use, I could just leave home without doing my hair in the morning if I wanted. It looks so much better, feels better and doesn’t get ratty and frizzy from humidity and wind.

I have thinning hair and also colour it. My hair feels thicker and it doesn’t wash out colour. No fade, left it in for 5-10 minutes prior to rinsing.

The results in so few uses has exceeded my expectations by far. I recommend giving this product a go.

The best anti-dandruff duo in Australia, hands down – I've tried in an insane amount of product from Woolies, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, and they all seem to either strip my scalp back to the bone or… Read more

don't actually alleviate itch symptoms. These seems to nail the brief perfectly - for someone who regularly washes their hair to get the grease and hair products out, these products maintain the perfect balance between clean and healthy. I rarely if ever get a flakey or itchy scalp, and as a result I've been using this duo for literally years.

nice, but wasn't any softer, less frizzy, longer or healthier in appearance or feel. It left a thick coating on my hair that made it stiff and dandruffy. I wrote a review on the Bondiboost website, they deleted it, then I re-sent the review and they didn't publish it (all reviews are reviewed by the company before publishing!). Their practices are so misleading. I know the hair repair and growth products can be effective, but this product is ineffective, expensive, and falsely overrated by Bondiboost. I purchased another brand for $6 that is much more effective.

researched. The styler itself is nice, easy to hold and quite light, however I immediately had trouble setting the temperature to a reasonable heat and making it stay on the setting. The brush would then not turn off. I read and reread the instructions which comes with it. The instructions do not indicate how to set and hold the temperature desired. I reached out to the BB company and was left equally confused. They gave some less than helpful advice and short instruction on what to do. I very quickly emailed them to explain what they meant, even my husband, who is very very “tech” savvy could not get the styler to work. All I’m asking is a comprehensive instruction leaflet. Please. Don’t waste your money – I got sucked in just like everyone one else with the claims that it will thicken your hair. The smell should be enough to deter anyone. All it did… Read more

was make my very healthy hair dry, brittle and constantly snapping off. Don’t even talk to me about how knotty it made it, I snapped 2 brushes, 2 BRUSHES, trying to brush my hair.

It doesn’t matter how little you use, you can never get it out of your hair. It dried my scalp out to the point I had scabs all over and they would bleed when I’d brush my hair. I had do then buy different products to get my scalp back to normal. It leaves a horrible residue/film on your hair, it doesn’t matter if you rinse you hair for 5 mins or 30, you can not get it out.

Needless to say this crap went in the bin after a few uses.

I had my hair coloured and 4 days later when I used this to wash my hair it stripped all the colour out. I only went to have my hair done again yesterday and told my hairdresser exactly what had happened, what products I was using and my hair just hadn’t felt healthy or looked nice since using it and before my hairdresser even put anything on it she had to strip my hair twice just to get rid of the horrid residue that has been left on it since I used it.

She also told me that pump hair care and Georgie may (I think that’s what it’s called) are exactly the same. I can assure you pump is because I started using the scalp therapy products after BB and it still felt dreadful like BB. But to be fair, pumps scalp oil works!

Please do not waste your hard earned dollars on this stuff that belongs in the trash, it’s not worth your trouble or time having to deal with the consequences.

I'm giving Bondi Boost's hydrating mask a go because I've heard good reviews and so far it smells amazing and it's been working in the same capacity as a conditioner without leaving my hair feeling gunky or oily. Best scalp serum – Loveee this scalp product. Most products meant for the scalp make me itchy or burn but I can’t even feel this one on my head! It massages into my hair really well and the applicator makes it super easy to get it directly onto your scalp.
