effective, clothes come out quite damp (not good in winter for drying). If you put in a full load the clothes come out in a knotted pile (no agitator). If I had my time over again I would not buy this machine.

Would never buy another chiq tv and would advise against it. Woefully under resourced so the android tv experience is so so bad it drives you nuts. Super laggy and you have to press the remote buttons extremely hard to try and get a response.

Immediately I noticed the sound was very low, I could put it up between 1-100 but after 50, which is far too low to listen to comfortably, putting volume up to 100 made no difference

I contacted Chiq who advised to send through a video, which I did.

I received an email back stating "Management has advised the same thing as before; they recommend a sound bar or speaker since the unit is a very small compact TV it doesn’t have the capacity to produce more sound."

Unfortunately this TV is not fit for purpose as Chiq doesn’t state it is recommended to purchase a sound bar or speaker because the tv doesn’t have to capacity to produce more sound.

Chiq website states "Take your entertainment anywhere with CHiQ 24" Portable HD GOOGLE TV, PERFECT for caravans, boats, trucks, and motorhomes!"

Because the manufacturer has refused to accept my warranty for faulty goods, and not fit for purpose under Australian law, I’ve had to lodge a claim with Fair Trading

I do not recommend this tv especially for a caravan as it doesn’t have the capacity to produce more sound.

working order and great picture quality. In 12 months machine has been faultless and best of all has proven to be less of a mover n shaker than the preceding LG n Samsung washers it replaced. I definitely put the quietness and smooth operation even on spin cycle at 1400 down to the 4 stabilizers. Very decent machine for the price point. Hope this review helps

Edit/Update : After just over 2 years of service the machine has developed a issue. On the spin cycle it would now appear it has a drum bearing failing. I have since called Chiq and was asked over the phone to email them a copy of purchase receipt, personal details and short detail on the issue with machine. Was told somebody would get back to me so i await patiently for that to happen. Will keep updating this review to assist others when deciding if purchasing this brand or not is for them especially if the warranty is at front of mind of there decision.

is outside of warranty. Fridges are meant to last more than 6 years. This fridge has never been overfilled and basically just get used by a two person household. This issue is obviously a common one and a known one by the manufacturer. Not sure if their quality has improved or they still only make things to last the duration of their warranty I will be investigating this further as consumers should not be taken advantage of if they are not in the financial position to spend big on whitegoods

Big name electrical store now scrambling to fix. 3 days with no fridge and according to the store chiq will reimburse me hundreds of dollars for lost food. rating. **UPDATE** we've had the fridge for about a year now and I'm revising the score down to 2 stars. We've wasted a lot of food because significant sections of the fridge are either too warm or too cold. There are three main complaints I have with it: 1. Anything that comes into contact with the back wall of the fridge tends to freeze. (Overall the temperature consistency is not good, but whether it's worse than other fridges I couldn't say) 2. There are storage shelves built into the door which have room for tall bottles, but very low edges, so that taller things fall out when you open the door. 3. There should be much more crisper space. For anyone eating a reasonably healthy diet, the crisper is woefully small. Given the dimensions of the fridge, there should have been a second crisper drawer added. Good points - it is quiet and pretty easy to clean.

doesn’t, and the difference is brilliant. The amount of lint coming from the clothes is negligible compared to before. The Chiq fills up fast, is easy to use, and call me weird but I like being able to see the clothes washing through the see through lid..lol. seconds. Changing channels in TV mode takes an average of a couple of seconds up to a full 5 seconds.

Settings menu is not straightforward to navigate. Sound is thin and disappointing. To make matters worse, when an external sound bar or Dolby system is used to get decent sound, the lip sync is all wrong. Although there is an option to delay the audio, the problem is the audio is already behind the movement so attempting to resolve the problem using the spdif delay only makes it worse. I've spent many frustrating hours trying to correct this problem with absolutely zero success. Unfortunately, once you become aware of this flaw, the unit is difficult to enjoy and it's impossible to ignore this shortcoming. It may not be as noticeable on a smaller unit but on the 75 inch screen, it is a deal breaker.

The other really annoying thing is that once you connect it to a soundbar and set up volume control through the TV remote and turn off the speakers, there is a message that comes on screen every single time you adjust the volume asking if you want to turn the internal speakers on. It doesn't just time out and go away, you have to click OK each and every time. I have spent hours trying to rectify this problem too.

The next frustration I'll mention may well be the Google OS rather than the TV but each app seems to function differently and there is no continuity. For example in one app whilst using the keyboard you can navigate to the results with the remote by clicking past the keyboard and straight to the results but in other apps you have to click the tick to move out of the text entry box. As I said, lack of continuity. Whilst you might think it isn't important, it limits how effectively you can use the apps and you constantly get the feeling you've made a mistake when you haven't. Response time using the apps is also very slow, when combined with the continuity issues makes for a rather unpleasant experience.

Please just give me a device that works correctly right out of the box without spending hours trying to correct issues that there is no fix for.

I'd love to get rid of this TV because of the audio sync issue, sadly I'm stuck with it for quite a while as I can't afford to just junk it. It is such a shame because the picture is actually very nice, which is why I rated it two stars. If the picture wasn't impressive, there's no doubt this would be a one star TV.
