I have had my Dyson V8 since August 2022, so not quite 4 years. I have a small home and was vacuuming twice per week, floating floorboards, no dogs,… Read more

no carpet. Every 5 weeks I clean the vacuum thoroughly as I am a pensioner and cannot afford to keep replacing vacuums. I have really liked the Dyson, strong power, ease of use, light, easy empty and clean, HOWEVER, the Battery died 6 weeks ago and a new battery is $150. I am very upset the battery has lasted less than 4 years but even more upset at the cost of a new battery. Dyson need to understand people in my position cannot afford such high cost to purchase a new battery, therefore will need to investigate a cheaper new vacuum with cheaper parts.very disappointed as I thought my battery would last alot longer and would be cheaper.

I purchased the Dyson V11 Torque Drive in 2020. In 2025, the main motor stopped working and, because it was out of warranty, I had to pay $400 for a… Read more

new main body from Dyson. The replacement parts come with a one year warranty.

This year, in 2026 just 45 days after the warranty expired the main body failed again. This time, there is an issue with the power supplied to the motor attachment. I contacted Dyson and was told I would need to pay again for a new motor body, with no discount offered.

I have always used Dyson vacuums, but the quality seems to have declined significantly. I would expect a replacement motor body to last longer than one year and 45 days. I will be trying a different brand from now on.

environmental inspector that constantly rates the cleanliness of your home and habits . I did not think that the green dust disclosing beam on the hard floor attachment would be much more than a gimmick . This was far from the truth ! I was horrified at what remained on a previously vacuumed floor that appeared to be clean . The green beam shows up hair , dust and particles mostly unseen by eye and allows you to clean thoroughly . It has changed my attitude to cleaning , thanks to this device our home is now cleaner and subsequently healthier . The suction power is greater than the V11 , so much so that I use it in ECO mode so as not to suck up loose carpets . Accessories are good , especially the carpet rotary brush and its smaller counterpart for upholstery . Battery life is a little less than that of the V11 , but this is more than offset by the greater efficiency and shorter vacuum times for the same results . Cleaning the dust hopper and filters remains much the same as previous ; easy and intuitive . The only feature I miss that was on the V11 is the rubber anti slip pad , this stopped the vacuum sliding off the wall or furniture when standing propped up . Otherwise it is an improvement in every function and feature , certainly the best model in the range . Yes Dyson vacuums suck , but that's a good thing .

a German Shepherd who leaves his hair everywhere. As I had had a Dyson before I decided I wanted another Dyson vacuum cleaner. After looking at quite a few different Dyson vacuum cleaners to go with this one as I didn’t want the same problem I’ve had with the V6 slimline it wouldn’t keep its charge even though it said it was charging you go to use it. You do two minutes of vacuum cleaning and it wouldn’t have any more charge in it, I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner. It does a great job on the carpets and the wooden floors gets all the dog and I am surprised of how much stuff comes out of the carpet as I vacuum probably twice a week because of my German Shepherd . I’ve had it now for two months and I love all the attachments that I can get into tight spots with the attachments clean the skirting boards or reach up hi with the attachments to get the cobwebs down. Would highly recommend this vacuum cleaner to any pet lover.

Stay Cozy and Clean: The Dyson HP07 Purifier That Cares for Your Family's Comfort! – As a parent of a 6-month-old and a 2-year-old, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for my little ones is a top priority. The Dyson Purifier… Read more

Hot + Cool Fan HP07 has quickly become an essential appliance in our home. This multifunctional device not only purifies the air but also provides heating and cooling, making it perfect for year-round use. Here’s an in-depth review of its features, performance, and overall value for families.

Design and Aesthetics The Dyson HP07 boasts a sleek, modern design that fits seamlessly into any room decor. Its compact size and bladeless design make it safe for curious little hands, and its quiet operation ensures it won’t disturb nap times or playtime. The stylish finish adds a touch of elegance to our living space, making it more than just an appliance.

Performance and Features

Air Purification The primary function of the Dyson HP07 is air purification, and it excels in this area. It utilizes a HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including dust, pollen, and pet dander. This feature is particularly important in our household, where air quality can impact the health of our children. The real-time air quality monitoring gives me confidence that the air they breathe is clean and safe.

Safety for Kids Safety is a significant concern for parents, and the HP07 addresses this in several ways. The bladeless design eliminates the risk of injury from spinning blades, making it safe for both my 6-month-old and my 2-year-old. Additionally, the fan features a cool-touch exterior, meaning it won’t pose a burn risk even when operating in heating mode.

Timer and Temperature Detection The built-in timer allows us to schedule when the fan operates, providing flexibility based on our family’s routine. The temperature detection feature is also a game changer; it automatically monitors the room temperature and adjusts accordingly. This ensures that my children are always comfortable, whether it's hot or cold outside.

Auto Monitor and Heating Function One of the standout features of the Dyson HP07 is its ability to automatically monitor the air quality and adjust its purification settings. When the temperature drops below the set threshold, the fan activates the heating function, ensuring that our home stays warm and cozy during colder months. This feature is especially helpful during winter when I want to maintain a comfortable environment without constantly checking the temperature.

Cooling Function During warmer months, the cooling fan function is a lifesaver. The HP07 distributes a steady stream of cool air, making it easy to keep the temperature comfortable without the need for a traditional air conditioner. This has been invaluable during hot summer days, allowing my kids to play comfortably in the living room.

Noise Level The Dyson HP07 operates quietly, making it ideal for use during nap times and at night. The sound level is low enough that it doesn’t disrupt sleep, providing a peaceful environment for my children.

Ease of Use The Dyson HP07 is incredibly user-friendly. The remote control and app functions allows for easy adjustments from across the room, and the Dyson Link app enables us to monitor air quality and adjust settings from our smartphones. This feature is particularly convenient for busy parents who may need to multitask.

Pros and Cons

Pros - Effective Air Purification: HEPA filter captures 99.97% of allergens and pollutants. - Safety Features: Bladeless design and cool-touch exterior make it safe for kids. - Temperature Detection: Automatically adjusts heating and cooling based on room temperature. - Timer Function: Schedule operation to suit your family's routine. - Quiet Operation: Ideal for naps and nighttime use. - Smart App Integration: Monitor and control settings from your smartphone.

Cons - Price Point: Higher investment compared to standard fans or heaters. - Filter Replacement: Regular filter changes are necessary to maintain performance.

The Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool Fan HP07 has transformed our home environment, providing clean air and maintaining a comfortable temperature for my 6-month-old and 2-year-old. Its combination of air purification, safety features, and intelligent temperature control makes it a worthwhile investment for any family. If you’re looking for a multifunctional appliance that prioritizes health and comfort, I highly recommend the Dyson HP07. It has truly made a positive impact on our family’s quality of life!

upon first use, it displayed an F2 error. I followed the troubleshooting instructions provided, and while it occasionally worked, the issue persisted.

I eventually reached out to Dyson Support, and the chatbot arranged a repair and provided a barcode for return shipping. I sent the item back on 17/05/2025. However, I have not received any confirmation from Dyson regarding the return. I had to rely on the Australia Post app to confirm that the item was delivered back to Dyson on 20/05/2025.

As of today, I have not received any updates, acknowledgments, or apologies regarding the issue or the return. This has been quite disappointing, especially considering I am still within the 45-day return policy. It raises concerns about the level of support I might receive if a product were to fail outside the warranty period.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Based on my experience so far, I feel compelled to leave a 1-star rating due to the product malfunction and the lack of communication and support.

Apart from the annoying dropping out tray defect, the mop does the job pretty well. We bought it originally for just below $1000, and were pretty… Read more

happy. Currently it seems to cost $300, which is a great value IMHO.

The tray was falling out because the lock was not sitting deep enough to work. The mop was replaced by warranty with one that had exactly the same falling out tray. It feels absurd to read the Dyson replies below - on one hand, they have an engineering team that created a pretty decent product, and on the other hand 2 years later they write meaningless replies to the people who complain about that tray instead of just rectifying a basic design defect. The mindless corporate machine at its finest. Btw, the lock can be easily fixed by heating it up with a plastic welder or construction fan and bending outwards.

Otherwise, the mop is easy to move around, cleans well, does not leave much water and, even though it does not have suction, picks up debris from the floor if there isn't too much. Contrary to what they write in the manual, you do have to clean and dry the brushes immediately after each wash. If left inside, they get stinky within hours.

The base of the mop is not great. It does not support the weight of the appliance well, so replacing the brushes and the tray is not a straightforward exercise.

prone to leaking if not connected perfectly, and is impractical for cleaning larger areas. In practice, it appears to spread water across hard floors rather than effectively cleaning them. Given the price of the product, the mop function does not meet reasonable expectations and I would not recommend spending the additional money on it. When I contacted Dyson, customer service repeatedly stated that the product works well instead of addressing the concerns raised, which was frustrating and unhelpful. the dock. More often than not, either my wife or myself have to replace the robot on the dock ourselves. We had the same issue with our first vacuum which we took back to The Good Guys and which Dyson replaced with a new robot vacuum cleaner. No return information. Just a new vacuum. This one, the second, is no better than the first one. I have remapped the areas we want vacuumed. I have named zones. I have created areas to avoid due to multiple chair legs etc., like around our breakfast bar area. The dock has the correct clear distance around it. The vaccum cleaner is still driving into the dock at the wrong angles or beside it, then reversing and looking like it is lined up only to stop just before it drives onto the dock, turns to the left or right and drives off again. It has now driven itself to a couple metres away from the dock. I paid a lot of money for this through The Good Guys, but any claim like repair etc., has to be taken up with Dyson directly. To be honest, I would just like to get my money back. I bought this robot thinking that it might be a better deal than a lot of the other robots that have a mopping function, which I am dubious about, and having a full width cleaning roller as the Dyson rep was keen to point out. All the selling points make sense. I just wish the rep had said that the vacuum was quite dodgy at returning to its dock. THA would have been helpful. I notice that The Good Guys are advertising the 360 for $944 now. That is a lot less than I pad for it and with what I know now about this robot, it is still too expensive. And for the whole time I have been writing this review, the robot is STILL trying to find the dock. I thin it has spent more time trying to return to the dock than it has actually vacuuming this morning. And now after 2 1/2 hours of trying to return to its dock, I have to pick it up and place it on the dock. Sorry, but Dyson have a lot of work that needs to be done to make this a worthwhile purchase.

The units are overpriced, high-maintenance, and supported by some of the worst product support I have experienced to date. I own two of these air purifiers and I deeply regret purchasing them. There are constant software issues, including poor compatibility with top-tier Samsung phones. Even worse, the filter monitoring system is dysfunctional: filters that are approximately 25 percent used are shown as “full” and the warning cannot be reset. I purchased new original Dyson filters and the units continued to report them as full. It is also nearly impossible to identify the correct model from the product label, and contacting Dyson support in Australia is equally impossible. The level of assistance and product knowledge is inadequate and the customer experience is extremely poor. My advice is simple: avoid this overpriced Dyson product. You can obtain more reliable, better supported, and easier to maintain air purifiers from reputable online companies or major manufacturers at a much lower cost.

Dyson TP07 - Very feeble air flow on MAX (10) - go and buy a real fan instead – Bought this Dyson TP07 tower fan/purifier today from JB HiFi (Greensborough) as the weather is heating up - been wanting to buy one for a while as… Read more

they look really cool - but the price had always put me off. For the price I paid today (AUD$600 - on sale) I was expecting a pretty solid air flow - like a regular, cheap $100 pedestal fan - but boy was I wrong! Chugging away at maximum setting (10) the Dyson TP07 fan is loud but with the most feeble air current produced. I sit about ~1.3m directly in front and it produces barely even a light puff! What's even the point of it? Note: My tiny, old but quietish $40 desktop fan produces about 3x the air flow than this large TP07 tower on MAX/10 setting. (I even tried removing the TP07 filters - but no difference) Definitely NOT fit for purpose - I'm going to return it tomorrow. Dyson - stick to vacuum cleaners.
