250 days was on the contract, they finished on time.

Before or it was exactly 250 days. Did yours include fencing?

They say 8 months but it’s actually around 12 months. It’s 8 months after they start site activities but you need to consider it takes 2-3 months for them to prepare and finalise details drawings and another month for council approval then they need 3 weeks to start site activities after council approval. It takes at least 12 months for Bella to complete your house from the date you provide them finance approval and pay the deposit. Also, they are very good at finding excuses to add more delays to this process. They know nothing about project management so only think and start preparation for a task, when the previous task is finished.

I am finding them extremely slow and poorly communicating. Very frustrated building with them, indeed.

Is there any penalty they pay if they go beyond the turnaround period?
