Surely now that Booktopia is dead, ( by mismanagement) this review area should have a PR notification saying so, and also more importantly the star status revised, to reflect the truth. Even based on the last few years there is so much evidence to point to the company's demise and lack of service delivery,dodgy marketing etc. When was the last time this company had more 4/5 start reviews than 1/2? Is there a graph option for viewing the fall of Booktopias stars? There should be. Then we could follow and rate the new owners too, and see if they improve the underlying issues of false advertising on non stocked items.The dead business model.A business model the govt should outlaw.
No pictures appear on the Booktopia website when I open it on my Mac. All the words are there but no illustrations. The site works perfectly on my Android phone, but I don't do commerce on it. I've cleared the cache on my Mac, but no change. Any ideas? I don't have ad blockers or the like. Could it be my anti-virus?

When I open the booktopia app on my iPhone 13 I get nothing but a white screen. Any troubleshooting advice? I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app but the same problem persists.
Hi Steven, thanks for reaching out, I'm sorry to hear the app is giving you trouble. The first thing I would recommend is to make sure your phone operating system is up to date. Having an outdated OS can sometimes cause apps not to work properly, so it's always good to keep your phone updated.

This is happening to me too. White screen is all I get when I open the book on my iPad through the Booktopia App. Any fix?
Hi Genevieve, would you be able to advise which iOS version you are using at the moment? As mentioned in my previous response, if the operating system is out of date, it could be the cause of this issue.
If you OS is up to date, I will need to let out partners at Kobo know which version is having the issue so they can investigate further.

I ordered my book on 6th August 2023 and I have not recevied it yet despite being told it was being sent. Customer service is shocking! No one returns emails nor does anyone bothers to pick up the phone. I want my money back. Can someone from Booktopia please contact me?

Did my books arrived to the warehouse? If arrived could you please give me estimated date for the books to dispatch from the warehouse? I can't login on my old ipad anymore. It asks for my email to login, then when I press to continue, it simply does nothing. Doesn't try to load at all, or even ask for a password. Please help.
Hi Thomas, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble logging in. The first thing I would recommend is to try reinstalling the app as this will often fix issues such as this. It's worth noting that our eBook apps are handled by Rakuten Kobo so it may be best to get in touch with them directly through their help centre: external link

The Booktopia app problem occurs on both my Google Pixel 4A phone and my Cedar tablet, both Android. The Booktopia app also installed the book I purchased on my Kobo Aura reader, but the book doe not open. Greg
