My RDO BP1 model roll-up door can open by pressing remote button or button on wall controller but won't close?

Good Morning Hishaam, Could I recommend that you call us to book in a service with one of our technicians? This is an unusual situation for a roller door opener and may be a circuit board issue? Call us on 9302 7500 to schedule a service. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service ManagerMorning, I can't call or book in a service as I am in South Africa. I was hoping someone had experienced a similar problem and had a solution.Morning Hishaam, It would be best if you contacted your supplier in South Africa to have a look at your circuit board. My garage door does not move when remote is pressed to open. I have E9 error message displayed. how can I resolved the problem and get my garage door to work again?
1 answer
Good Morning Krystal, The E9 error means that the fuse has blown. You can either replace the fuse or call us on 9302 7500 to book a service and one of our technicians can do this for you. However if you do it yourself you will need to reset the door. To do this please follow these simple instructions:- 1. Open the door slightly with remote , or the light on the opener 2. Hold the red learn button until the display changes to LL 3. Then press remote or light, The door will close then open fully then close again on its own. 4. When it has completed this it will go back to a display of (.) 5. Your door will now work as normal. A 15 amp blade fuse can be bought from most service stations or auto stores. Please remember to turn the power point off before removing and replacing. The fuse is located at the end of the circuit board. I hope this helps. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service Manager

Good Afternoon Rodney, Have you tried replacing the battery in the wall remote? If this is not necessary you may need to re-code in your wall remote. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service ManagerAre you talking about the two concave buttons on the wall? If so do I just get the cover off and see a battery in there?Afternoon Rodney, Yes if you look at the bottom of the cover against the wall you will see a little clip. Just push the clip back and the top cover of the switch will pop off. You can then replace the battery and just pop the cover back on again. Hope this helps. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service Manager

Hi - I have a Centurion SDO-10 - today it has stopped working and if a button is pressed it will start to open and then close almost immediately... The are no obstructions, and if I disconnect the door from the chain it goes up amd down freely... Any ideas?

Good afternoon Jae, Firstly let me apologise for the delayed reply. There could be a number of reasons for this one of them being that you require a new logic board to be fitted. Please could you contact our service department on 9302 7500 and we can schedule a technician to come out and assess. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service Manager

Hi, I have the RDO-10 unit and it suddenly stopped working yesterday. The remotes work and I can see the red led light go on when I press the remote button but it just makes a single click sound and nothing further happened afterwards. I've also tried to reset the transmitter but it still won't open. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Good Afternoon, Please have a look to see if the red manual release cord is not hanging lower that the green cord when in manual mode, if this is the case then you will need a technician to come out and assess. This could also be a fuse or a logic board issue. It is best that you call us on 08 9302 7500 and to schedule a technician. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service Manager

Hi we had a centurion garage door installed roughly 18 months ago. Ever since day 1 our remotes have only worked when we are parked in our driveway as close as we can get to the garage door. The remote won't work from the road or inside the house unless we are in the garage. Even when parked outside the garage you need to press the button multiple times before it will open. Not a battery issue as that was tested plus it has happened since day 1. We have put up with it but now I have had enough. I have previously had garage doors that the range would allow me to open as I drove into my street

Good Morning Derek, I apologise in the delay in getting back to you with regards to your opener light. This is a courtesy light which should only stay on for approximately 1 minute after activating your door. If it is not switching off automatically after this short time frame we would need to schedule a technician to come out and have a look as this is out of the ordinary. Please could you contact our service department on 08 9302 7500 to schedule an appointment. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service Manager Centurion Garage Doors

I have a Centurion SDO-10 sectional overhead garage door. After a blackout this morning I discovered the roller door partially open and the top rollers out of the track. The door has also hit the light shroud and broken it off. I pulled the release and put the top rollers back into the track. I now can operate the opener from my remote but the motor is running but not turning the chain. There is a constant red light blinking.
1 answer
Good Morning, Thank you for your query. Have you reconnected to auto? Pull the manual release again towards the opener and the auto should be reengaged. If this is not the issue please contact our office on 08 9302 7500 to book a service as it sounds like the cog/gear inside the opener might have sheared. A black out would not have caused the wheels to come out of the track. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service Manager

What batteries does the RDO control box take?
3 answers
Good Afternoon Magda, Thank you for your query. Do you mean the RDO10 remote control? This takes a 23A battery the same as the wall remote. Please note that you will need to take the sticker off on the back to reveal the screw to open the remote for battery change. I hope that this has helped. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service ManagerHi. Thanks for the replay, but sorry, i meant the battery in the rdo control box of the garage motor. Mine was installed without the backup batterr/batteries, therefore dont know what type or even where it must be installed. Cant get info from the installers.Morning Magda, Would it be possible to please send a photograph of your motor to bknox@cgdoors.com.au? We will reply as soon as possible. My garage door motor came up with a 6U code wha is this. The remote and door panel button does not work but the green confirm button on motor controller above head opens and closes it perfectly, strange

Good morning Fitzy, Thank you for your query. It sounds like you may have inadvertently put your motor into remote learning Code BU. If this is the case all you will need to do is press the remote three times to complete the coding process. If this doesn't work please call our service department on 9302 7500 and we can talk you through the process over the phone. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service Manager

My centurion garage door opened by itself this morning at around 8.30am (Tuesday 18/06/2019). My next door neighbour has also noticed the door opened from time to time, but it has also closed. any thoughts??? TT
1 answer
Good Morning, Thank you for your query. I would firstly suggest that you try deleting and re-coding your remotes. Ensure that the batteries are working fine as they can trigger the door on occassion. You can find the instructions for this by copying the following link:- https://www.cgdoors.com.au/resources/user-guides/ into your browser. If this is unsuccessful please call our office on 08 9302 7500 and we can arrange a service technician to come and service your door. Please remember that we recommend a service annually. Hope this helps. Kind regards Brenda Knox Customer Service Manager
