I agree. We were almost scammed $900 for a job that only cost us $120 with another plumbing group. Always ask for hourly rate.

Hi Snapper, We charge on an upfront fixed price. The price includes all labour, materials, service and our lifetime guarantee on all workmanship. The pricing would stay the same even if the plumber had unforeseen circumstances and the job takes longer then expected.

But my point isn't about the fixed price - it's understanding how you arrive at it. Don't tell me that one hour of work and a few simple parts can possibly justify $1670

I paid $1670 for a blocked drain. The guy was there 29 minutes exactly. He put some crystals in and i had to ask him if he was going to use the hydraulic suctioning pump.

you were [Content Removed] unfortunately. they gave me the same quote for a blocked drain and another plumber came and did it in 20 minutes for $250 total. These [Content Removed] operate under different names and have been on a current affair several times. Plumbcorp. Fastway Plumbing and Dans plumbling.

Ryan quoted $900 for a simple job. Previously completed for $120. I trusted by gut and went with Fairy Meadow plumbing, that charges by the hr. The job ended up costing $120 as we expected. We saved $780. They still charge you a call out fee for an over priced quote on a fancy ipad.

This is a hopeless service! We have waited for 2 days after initial booking - delay after delay, and not being honest! Not reliable at all!!!

I can totally relate to this. I have been scammed as well and they found a loophole in the system so my review is rejected. They apparently operate under various names however registered under one licence. Previous owner and licence used have been suspended and mentioned on Current Affairs.

These people are [Content Removed], They also operate under Dans plumbling. They came out and tried to charge me 1600 to clear a bathroom pipe. I had it done for $250. They have been on a current affair many times but keep changing name and the dodge up their reviews so that people keep getting [Content Removed].

Yes they came to us with a different name called Ferguson plumbing. Never get service from them. They are [Content Removed]

Can confirm, these people will [Content Removed] you. Get another quote - they are complete crooks taking advantage of people.

They also threaten legal action with negative reviews, an absolute scam of a company.

0409525652 - quote number 28259/1 - Whilst your plumbers were of high calibre and your receptionist Taylor is excellent with customer service, I do believe that the charge was quite high. However I am willing to let this go through to the keeper in that I believe it is important to maintain a good relationship going forward with a trustworthy company. Perhaps consideration to re look at the charge would be a good idea also given we are seniors also. I would be more than happy to do a review of your services if you like

I should read this review first before i agreed to get them do the job. I think i get ripped off as well. Change the valve and they charged me $800. I just checked online the parts only cost $100 at bunning. Very dissatisfied n disappointed
