Plumbing/Prestigious Plumbing scammed me and have since dlisappeared. Got a RACV membership plumber quote of $380 first hour and requesting a deposit..another plumber scaming pensioners. That almost $1000 Plumbing labourers for $15 rubber ring. I am putting towels on the floor..I cant trust these trades people l.

Great job – Blaine from PlumbFirst removed a 3,000lt water tank. Connected a down pipe to a drain that required a dig and removed the water tank's water pump, connecting its piping to town water. All done in just a few hours. Job well done.

metropolitan told me it was a major job and they need to access in through the wall behind the kitchen, remove ensuite tiles to fix. Called in another company who fixed it in under 2 hours from the kitchen side and cost me $350 in total. If it was that easy why didn’t metropolitan fixed in when they attended site???? I have attached the original review and the new repair that Eire plumbing fixed for a third of the price. Metropolitan you should be so ashamed of your lack of customer service and over the top pricing. Absolute money grabbing rip off artists. They should be shut down.

neighbour I didn’t want to waste time by asking different companies for a quote. The tradesmen of Hero Plumbing were polite, professional and competent. However, let me describe the actual work involved: Day 1: onsite assessment 1 hour. Day 2: unblocking the drain 4 hours. Day 3: plastering the ceiling downstairs 3 hours. Day 4: painting the ceiling 2 hours. The entire project took 10 hours to complete. For this I was charged 15,000 which translates to 1,500 per hour. I am a registered nurse looking after very sick people and occasionally get to save lives for $50 per hour. It takes me two full months, 300 hours, to earn $15,000. I think the situation with tradesmen charging astronomical fees is completely out of control in Australia and the government should closely examine these practices affecting us ordinary Australians. This review presents the facts from a customer’s perspective and I acknowledge that the company in question may have a different point of view. I will close this review with a positive feedback: the tradesmen working on the site were professional and did an good job. However, to charge $1,500 per hour is completely unacceptable and I would encourage all potential customers to find a plumbing company whose quote is more reasonable than the quote given by Hero Plumbing. I will never do business with this company again.

confirmed the issue. They charged me $250 call out fee, to then claim they didn't know what fitting was needed. Then called me 2 days later quoting me $950 for the works, claiming it was a burst pipe (it was not). The customer service woman was extremely rude as well. Do not book!!

you, they get paid for the attempt, not a successful outcome.

They will reply saying finding leaks isn't an exact science, but they had multiple attempts, weren't able to figure it out and my building and I paid for worth of work that did not fix the problem.

They might also say the source of the leak is faulty work from a previous contractor, finger pointing, but if you are hired to fix a leak and you don't fix it, you should expect unhappy customers.

Outstanding work from Charlie and his team. They fixed my toilet leak issues, sourced and installed new faucets and basin. I highly recommend! I will use their services again.
