Thanks for your reply . Land already titled . Home loan approved. All the appointments done. Full conract signed . File is with site coordinator to get approval . So my question is, how many approval you need to take? and how long it take to start construction ?

Is it the Brivis or Bonaire evaporative you've got? Which rangehood did you have?

I have all appliances of Technika in kitchen. Its model is CHEM52C9CL

Not to my knowledge and nothing to date in our interaction with DFH regarding plans for our new home gives us any indication that this may happen. Anyway, if they are, they would be legally required to announce this to the public.

The current timeframe between a colour appointment and contracts is around six weeks. I hope this helps.

ok Alex thanks i have been told that the contracts wont be ready until the 9th November which is 2 months after the appointment. Starting to get a little worried as our pre approval runs out on the 10th of November. You guys have been fantastic so far so this is not a complaint.

I am disappointed why a builder such as DFH would ignore a legitimate and sincere question. I came to this forum seeking answers as there is no one who could, neither on your documentation that brings clarity to what I'm asking. If you are sincere about your promo offers, why would you not care to advise?

3 Months to contract (October to December), Colours 1 month (January), Pre site stage (January - April), Build (May - November) last 2 stages took the longest. Hope this helps if you have more questions please reply back. Thanks!

Yes, I did build during a very high demand period. Though I believe it will take minimum 3 months irrespective.

Hi Alex, that is absolutely incorrect we are yet to have our 6 month review and have been promised a call back from Jason in Dec 2020 and again on 31st May to arrange it. Even your warranty dept confirms there is a back log but that doesn’t mean you don’t call people back. BTW how do you even know who I am since you only have my fist name? What record did you look up?

I had nothing to do with Woodlea Developer I bought my own land and built in the eastern suburbs and had to go to council 3 times hence from initial deposit to build was like 20 months.

I didn’t hire one as my research about the quality of workmanship DFH delivers is of high standard and they did kept up to my expectations.

It took 5 months for our house to be completed. It may vary for each house.

No worries, we've built in Tarneit, Vic. Yeah, the construction started on 30th of April and the handover was on 30th of September. So, 5 months on dot.

that's great, I'm building in Wyndham Vale,site started on Oct 20th so finger crossed it'll be ready by end of March roughly

My single story home building in Sunbury, Vic, commenced in April and I moved in by the end of September. The initial process of decision making regarding the choices and sticking to the plan has impact on the completion time line. Good luck with your journey ......

We absolutely love the artwork too! Unfortunately it is from one of our suppliers who doesn't sell direct to the public, it is only available for commercial property styling. - Alex

Personally, I believe that most people only comment when they have complaints or poor experiences. So I'd take all of this with a grain of salt. That being said, I'm only at the beginning of my journey with Dennis. So far they've been super attentive and hope it continues.

Hi, They are all smiles and sincere at the beginning but when their construction of the home turns faulty, they say this is normal and within allowable specifications and that it's not their problem. Before accepting any handover of the property make sure you have a qualified building engineer inspect the property as it will be money well spent and save you a lot of heartache down the track which is what I'm currently dealing with...or if possible get out of the contract and seek a more reputable builder !

I totally agree with you! I’ve been in my home now 3.5yrs and I’m still trying to have a roof leak defect repaired!!!

We built with Dennis Family homes and were very happy with the result until we had to deal with their Warranty Dept over the last 12 months who were intent on finding reasons to not help us rather than fix their faults.

They told us 6months from commencement of build & that was exactly how long it took. They commenced at the end of February & we took handover at the end of August.
