Hi Dee, It's our pleasure to answer your question. A 25W124P is fitted with a 2.4kW element. This element heats at the rate of 41L/hr. What that means is that every time the unit heats up from cold (all 25L of hot water has been used), approximately 1.46kW of energy is used.
25L/41Lhr = 0.60 x 2.4kW = 1.46kW.

Hi can the Hot water Temperature be turned down at all on my unit? It only supplies the Hot tap in the kitchen. thanks.
Hi Alister, Apologies for the delayed response. The heater has a minimum storage temperature of 60 Deg C, that is an Australian Standard to safely sanitise the water of Legionella bacteria. Any adjustment of the thermostat can only be done via a suitably licensed tradesperson.
To have the delivered temperature reduced, either turn on more cold water to the mix or have a plumber fit a tempering vale to the plumbing.

If you mean the pressure relief valve then get it replaced. They shouldn't drip at all.

Hi there. I have a 125L hot water cylinder installed outside my house as it is outside the standard inhouse installation. Whenever I touch the cylinder it feels cold but i never run out of hot water. Does this product have internal thermal line to retain the heat or does it lose heat when not in use and continously uses power to heat up?
