Hey Shivani we built with eagle for our first home and our supervisor was amazing he was always contactable and the staff that handled our account from start to finish were lovely. Easy to pick colour selections and tile choices etc.

Hi, I just recently bought a home and land package from eagle homes, I also need a n answer. What stage are you up to now?

I kinda get the impression from the reviews I've read that there are more content verified customers that have built their properties around the Oran Park area. Meaning maybe, that the builders and sub-contractors working on builds in the Oran Park region, do a far better job from beginning to handover than those builders and sub-contractors sent out to work on builds elsewhere.

I do like the style and design of Eagle Homes but a bit concerned about the kind of builders and sub-contractors Eagle Homes has doing builds out my way (Sutherland Shire).

Can anyone else who does not live out West share some of their experiences based on my concerns?

ive had a lot of experience with eagle homes and other builder , im also in the shire, do yourself and your family a favour and stay clear of these incompetent disgraceful morons. theres a reason why you don't see their billboards on many construction sites and that speaks for itself . they'll quote you a reasonable price initially but by the time they add on their outrageous site costs ( a lot higher then other builders) , at then end youll pay more then other builders . they are so slow and disorganised its a wander how they are still in business . once you handover money and sign contract , your caught into their vicious web . their disorganisation and slow incompetent staff means youll probably pass your contact expiry date , and once you do that guess what ? its price increase time ....... offcourse you cant just walk off you've already invested thousand & thousands already . you can expect to be hit with another $50-$70,000 for price increase . so much for you thinking they were cheap . they specialise in expiry dates followed by price increases as their contact timeframe in most cases don't allow sufficient time to excecute what you need to do for a knockdown and rebuild & that's because of their continued stuffups and I don't care attitude , and guess who gets the blame for the slow progress .... its you .

its your choice , think twice before you make a decision youll regret for the rest of your life , these guys should not be in business

I have built 2 houses with eagle homes now and rate them pretty high !!!!

There designs and finished products are great..

Its worth paying the $2500 upfront to get a proper price from day one..

We are very happy with our home. Eagle Homes completed our house in 16 weeks. Including waiting 3 weeks for their best bricklayer at my request. We love everything about our house especially the layout.

Hi, I have built one house 2 years ago with eagle Homes and same as you i was worried but we loved the house design and price so we ended up building with eagle Homes honestly we are really happy with the outcome thats why we are currently building our second house...

Highly recommended for personally living and investment purposes.

worse experience was invoice for work wasnt done piers was a variation which was never sited gyp rock is worse ive seen walls dont line up and hole experience was just a nightmare go through your contract check everything council cross over few bits hardwood then u will get the run around buy the office better go else where save yourself headaches

base price will change variations wont stop coming in charged for stuff thats not even on site go to a better buider save the headaches

Quality not very good slabs are very uneven

many processes in place to get approval, land rego from developer, we just got approval of CDC , it took 3 months in total from initial deposit to approval, my friends with other builders still waiting ,builder even us a extension of time , so no price increase, now we are ready to start, so happy

I hope for your sake that you have not signed anything with Evil homes... Take it from us 3 years on and it just come to an end with no results. They are dodgy i would not let them build my little pup a kennel. Every thing about Eagle homes is wrong there service there maintenance just them in general. Anyone whom said they got a great experience or time with Eagle Homes must either be related or close family friend. Let me a sure you they are Evil and will destroy your lifes. I have reports photos emails you name it and they still got away with fixing our house even after Ncat.

Believe us do not waste your time and energy. They are so dodgy and are not held accountable for there work. It is just not worth your time effort or health STAY AWAY FROM EVIL HOMES......

MB then its not really worth it. If I add $100,000 to their base prices, and because the other major companies have a fixed price 6 month construction contract, I would have to pay another $3,500 ONLY IN RENT for the extra 2 months that Eagle Homes require to complete construction and then my home loan repayments for the extra 8 weeks as well. Then you have VARIATIONS!! I'm too scared to build with these guys to be honest.

Confused- you must have home warranty- If you do put it under maintenance request. If you are still unsure. Take pictures and send to NSW Fair Trading. You are living in Australia Mate! Home constructions under NSW fair trading have 6 years warranty or so. If your not happy with something speak up! It may take you time- But it's your right to get a 'quality finish' You paid - So you deserve it!

Hand over hasn't happened yet but the brickies have fixed the façade. I am satisfied with that bit. There are other things to be finished but I now feel confident that all those issues will be looked at (like this one). I hope there will be no more delays. We are counting down the days. Very excited and anxious.

We just finished building with Eagle Homes. I must say these guys have to be the worst builder I have every come across. Our brick walls are not straight the workmanship is the worst. One month after the build we have issues taps leaking. I am going to write a detailed review. There is a reason why this builder has not received any awards since 2006. I ended paying a fortune for my house and very disappointed with the result. The issues don't get resolved for ages and just gets passed on from one person to another.

We have been through the sales/estimating/council/colour selection and have had no problems what so ever. They have just started to build now (when they said they would ) . I have seen all the bad reviews and remain optimistic , so far my experience is 10 out of 10 .

We have just finished building a house with them, after a two year process. Although our house is nice, we would not recommend them to our worst enemy! They were slow, heartless, kept raising the price (right up until a few days before handover), never gave us updates, were rude on the phone (head office), and had sloppy paperwork. I could go on and on. Spend your hard earn dollars on another builder! These people will cost you so much more than even the contract price they give you.

We are close to completion. It was a mixed experience throughout but I guess it would be the same with any project home builders. Overall good but there were some rough periods. Once again, this has been my one and only experience and so cannot compare. I should not yet jump to conclusions because the most critical stage is yet to be crossed - Handover. I have to wait and see what happens before I can comment.

Same my question, I am considering to built a double story duplex by Eagle Home in Parramatta area. Please suggest if their supervisor and workers are able to product good work?

We build with Eagle homes in May 2014. We spent the next 2 and half years fighting with them to fix the issues in our home. To take them to Ncat and fork out $4000 for an expert report. Result worst 3 years of our life they were not made to fix any issues. Please if you want to get good value and customer services EAGLE HOMES ARE NOT I REPEAT NOT A GREAT BUILD GET YOUR MONEY AND TREAT YOU LIKE DIRT. STAY CLEAR FUTURE BUILDERS......
