My Mims squeak, only the left shoe and not immediately when I put them on. Reached out to Frankie4 where they suggested to remove the footbed and apply leather conditioner both of which I did but still squeaky. If I lean on the inside of my shoe I can reduce said squeak however isn’t sustainable all day. At the moment totally regretting buying these shoes

You might find it helpful to try our full-length footbed if you are experiencing movement, or alternatively use a small velcro dot on both the footbed and the shoe sole to keep everything securely in place. Hi, I purchased frankie 4 Jackie a few weeks ago, and ever since I started wearing them they squeak when I'm walking, so loud that I've stopped wearing them in public! The top surface of the innersoles is where most of the noise is coming from. Any suggestions what I can do to stop this happening?

As the inside of your Jackie's and the lining of the footbeds are both made from leather, these components can sometimes develop a slight squeak, particularly if there is moisture (i.e., sweat) present in the shoe. To help with this, we often find that applying some talcum or baby powder to the inner lining of the shoe and footbeds can help with minimizing and moisture and reducing the squeak! Hi Lorna, thanks for reaching out! Depending on which shoe you have that you're experiencing the squeaking in, we may have some different suggestions for you. If you're experiencing this in a pair of shoes which feature removable footbeds, the squeaking may be occurring from moisture between the leather lined footbeds and the leather lined shoes. By popping some talcum powder on the edge of the footbeds, this can help to reduce the moisture and therefore, the squeaking. Another reason you may be experiencing the squeaking, is if the leather upper is still quite new. As the leather is flexing and wearing in, the different sections may be rubbing against each other and can result in a bit of a 'squeak' sound. Just purchased Jackie’s in size 11. My left foot is a size bigger than my right so I knew they would be a bit big on my right foot. I put the half innersole in the right to compensate. I’m finding the forefoot section very stiff and they bend uncomfortably at the toe rather than the balls of my feet and you can see where the leather is stressed from bending.I’ve also noticed planter facitis has come back on my left foot. Help

I purchased the Dimity and have had them for over a week . I was so excited to receive them as recommended by my podiatrist for plantar fasciitis, sadly my feet are not only still painfully sore , my soles burn when I wear these . I tried different socks and soles in the sole saver pack but still the same . I still wear them hoping my feet will adjust, it’s been 3 weeks now , should I give up or do they need more time ?
Hello JoAnne. My personal opinion is that we as consumers are attracted to this brand because we are searching for better fitting footwear that is more beneficial for our feet. If your feet are not benefiting from these shoes, maybe take photos and send them to Frankie4 requesting a refund. I too have plantar fasciitis and sadly my shoes did not work out for my feet. In my opinion, If the shoe is the right fit and quality, you should not have to wear them in. This will only make your condition worse. I have met with my podiatrist who was shocked that I persevered given my feet and you have the same condition. My personal view is return. :). Hope this assists.

I have found however that I live in HOKA runners whilst I have this condition - style - BONDI 8. They have been revolutionary for me allowing me to walk again. Unfortunately I did reach out to Frankie 4 , I sent several pictures and correspondence, basically they said I need to wear them in and get use to them !!! They are sitting in a box in my wardrobe, I wear Bared footwear now and Hoka runners !! I’ve had a bad experience with Frankie 4 and will not risk wasting my money again .

I bought the Hannah shoe in cream by recommendation from in store. When I tried the 10, they slipped off my heel, so the saleswoman suggested a 9… which seemed a good fit at first but after wearing for a few hours my toes hurt a lot! I was hoping the leather was just needing to be worn in, but it has been a few months and still hurts. Is there anything I can do to exchange and get the size up? Was really hoping this shoe could work for me because I got good reviews and bought it full price.

Hi there, Thanks for your question! Great choice with Nat, they're a perfect option for 'all day every day' wear. As your Nat's feature a brand new leather upper, depending on the way they're sitting on your feet individually, you may find that they just need a little bit of time to wear in and soften further. We would suggest wearing your new Nat's in around the house and gradually increasing the wear period, to allow the leather to naturally soften. This shouldn't take too long at all, as we use beautiful soft leathers in each of our styles.
Nat features a thermoplastic heel counter, which is a material that will naturally warm up as the shoes 'flex' and wear in. Hello, I just wore my Winnie’s for the first time to work and the arches of my feet are killing me! Is it normal for this to happen because I’m not used to an arch support? If your feet aren't used to the support and contouring in FRANKiE4 shoes, it may take a little while to adjust to the new feeling underfoot. It sounds like you've gone straight into wearing your brand new shoes for a full day of work (we don't blame you for wanting to!), which may be why you've had this experience.
With your brand new shoes and the new feeling of support underfoot, we would suggest wearing your Winnie's in around the house to allow your feet & lower limbs to get used to the new feeling. Wearing the shoes in and gradually increasing the wear period, will also allow the shoes to soften creating a more personal and comfortable fit for you, overall.

I bought Ali v1 over a year ago, I only wear it 4-5x a month since I WFH.

Hi Rosie, Thanks for your question! ALi features a lovely, soft, and mouldable leather upper. As the boots are worn in, you should find that the leather softens to create a more comfortable and personal fit.
If the shoes have been left to store for some time between wears, depending on how long they've been stored for, and how they've been stored, the leather may 'firm up' again. Due to the nature of leather, as you start to wear the boots again, you should find that they become more moulded and comfortable.
We would suggest wearing your boots often, if possible. If not, wearing them in around the house with some thicker socks on after they've been stored for some time, can help to soften the leather for you.

Hi I’ve just worn for the 1st time my newly purchased Shauna boot. The foot feels fine however when I wore the shoe the top of the boot has dug into the bottom part of my shin on both legs leaving an indentation & pain. I actually had to remove the shoe to be able to drive. I was mostly seated for 2 hrs & was in agony. What can I do, I don’t think I’ll be able to wear them again, which I can’t afford at $329

Can I ask, have you tried utilising the different footbed components in your SHAUNA's? By trialling the different footbeds you may find that your feet are sitting in a different position within the boots, which may help to alleviate the pressure that you're feeling at the top of the boot.

My Frankie shoes arrived today, and felt quite firm and tight, I thought I just needed to wear them in for a day, but still too tight and my feet are sore. Can I go to a boot maker and have them stretched? I have never spent this much money on shoes before and will be so disappointed if I can't wear them. What can I do?
I had this problem too & I contacted them by email. They had me send some photos & I had actually been sized wrong although the leather did soften slightly over a week they advised me to go up half a size which worked although the leather still was very firm at first I didn’t have the pinching of the toes with the extra half a size (I also wear the half sole). Contact them I’ve found the customer service to be excellent good luck.

Stretching shoes can be a tricky one and it is something which we try to avoid offering as a suggestion as we aim to provide customers with the correct fit. Ballet Flats can sometimes be that shoe which can be a little harder to get the right fit around the toes.
Each of our ballet flats include a forefoot cushion which can help tailor the fit as we know it is not uncommon to have to size up to ensure the length is correct and our toes are not getting squished. We also offer three different styles of ballet flats with three different toe box shapes which will feel slightly different on the foot.

Whilst I do own a number of pairs of Frankies at times I also have a need to stretch shoes. I have stretched all my learther shoes in the past due to a foot injury in my right I received over 30 years ago and this has made shoes wearable. So to the Frankie 4 team I would appreciate it if the toe box was all leather as well and not a synthetic fablic lined toe box. For those with bunions or foot issues that result in pain this is essential. For example in the Gianna shoe the toe box is synthetic lined and I sometimes have to change shoes halfway during the day at work which defeats the purpose of these shoes but being able to stretch them easily would solve the problem.

As Jasmin has outlined above, we generally advise against stretching your shoes, as this can have a greater affect on the overall fit or function that is already provided in the style - rather, we want to always ensure that you are in the perfect fitting styles.
The lining in our sneakers, enclosed flats and most boot styles, like GiANNA, is comprised of two materials - the majority of the lining is leather, with a soft foam lining in the toe-box. Most of our enclosed styles have a hidden soft foam lining in the forefoot area to minimise friction, pressure (and sheer stress) over the skin around the forefoot. This is ideal for women with bunions as the joint often protrudes creating higher pressure of the joint on the upper.

I don't think you really read my comment. I am the one with a foot issue, your shoes hurt me and this could be alleviated by stretching the shoes. I have done this many times in the past, it's just less effective when the internal lining is synthetic. I don't like the half footbed and find it uncomfortable. On a more positive note your Isabelle boots fit really well so I have 2 pairs (no stretching required).
