I have a 2017 Trailblazer LTZ, and have been having constant battery issues, Auto electrician has taken a look, but we can find any parasitic draws. I have replaced the battery at least 3 times (AC Delco). whole car just goes black and won't even get a kick out of the battery but give a couple minute and fires right up. has also replaced the batteries in the key fobs.
leather seat (drivers) cracking, is this covered under warranty

I have a problem with 2018 auto trans trying to move gear selector into manual mode. I have told when towing to move to manual mode and lock into a gear like 5th and stop it going up into top gear.
Hi, have a 2018 twin cab 2x4, tow a 16ft road owl, auto great on highway and when a hill comes up I use manual gear changes, at top I put it back to drive and it selects 6th gear, most say on hills use manual(sports) as the box in auto is slow to down grade gears unless you boot it, hope this helps

The engine light came on took it to ex holden dealership and was told that it needs inlet manifold replacement. problem securing a replacement. Is this a common fault on these vehicles. Been out of action for over three weeks part on backorder. 2017 model 147,000ks
i had same issue coming back on great ocean rd trip engine light but no limp mode. code was for inlet manifold valve and was told same story complete replacement of inlet manifold was required thing is on further investigation and purchasing a new manifold and gaskets and new injector lines as they are single use item there is no valve in the intake manifold and yes the manifold may be in need of cleaning if you have not had a catch can fitted and these like many new diesel's produce lots of oil and soot contamination in the intake. your issue will most likely be fixed as was ours by cleaning the MAF sensor in the manifold and using a diesel intake cleaner cleaning the throttle body and EGR valve. i have not had any more issues with this code for at least 30,000km since issue first showed itself. hope that helps good luck.
Thank you for your reply. I have found out the previous owner had the inlet manifold replaced at 113,000k in July 2021, so only done another 34,000k when the issue has repeated. Still waiting, still on backorder. Have also found out there is other places that are waiting for part supply as well.
Benwolly, can you please tell me where the diesel intake cleaner goes to clean throttle body and EGR valve ?
Hi I have a 2017 trailblazer 127000kms that wont drive forward but will do if you start in manual 3 and change down to M1 and then go to drive. Works in reverse ok. trans has been serviced 10000kms ago and the oil is at the right level.

I have a 2018 Trailblazer, I have just had a brake controller fitted and now the tail/display lights don't work. Other than a lose or disconnected wire, is there another common cause for this?
The trailblazer has led tail lights and are wired weirdly. The only way I could get my trailer brakes to work was to run a wire back from the trailer plug to activate them. I spent many hours on this and Holden were no help.
I have a 2020 LTZ Trailblazer , done 15,000 klms . Noticed when driving on light throttle about 1,500 revs on the flat but more noticeable going uphill a loud driveline noise with slight vibration comes in , gearbox area . it does it all the time any speed but around 1,500 to 2,000 revs. Any ideas.
Have a look under vehicle and you will see a huge counterweight hanging off the back of the gearbox ( auto ) this is to reduce this harmonic vibration common to 4 cylinder engines coupled to auto boxes, try taking the counterweight off, you will not be able to sit in the car. Holden have been applying this very agricultural fix since the LH Torana 4 cylinder auto in 1975. It was also used in the Toyota Corona and Corolla of similar vintage. I have never worked out why this vibration does not present with a manual gearbox in the same car.
I just purchased a new trailblazer and have just installed a tow bar and harness with ecu. The problem is that the tail light and brake light are on the one red wire at the plug and when I test the vehicle lights the brake and tail are on one wire. How do you get the tail light and stop light to seperate as the tail light is supposed to be brown and stop red?
The car is using a rear SAM module - signal aqcuisition module, to save wiring. It's varying the power to the globe on one wire to display tail and stop lights. There will be a tow bar module that needs to be fitted and coded by the dealer no doubt that will provide the separate wiring you need for the trailer. It also deals with reverse sensors/trailer sway and stability features when it knows you're towing.
