Naot Questions & Answers
I’ve had several problems recently with my Naot shoes. The soles are just falling to bits. Has else similar problems? There seems to be a glut of cheap Naots on the market. Why? One wonders. I’ve got problem feet so I’ve worn the same style for years. The early ones were great long lasting shoes. But I will not buy more until the company can assure me it’s fixed. The idea that it’s hydrolysis of the sole is crap.
I bought a pair, gorgeous and comfortable wedges, wore twice and stored, found the soles had cracked and disintegrated under my feet when I wore them again.. Naot refused to do a thing about it as they were out of warranty. I will never buy their shoes again
Same happened to me. They told me if I live in a warm climate and don’t wear them constantly the soles will crack and disintegrate. It’s called hydrolysis. Ridiculous. No warning to say this on product. This issue with shoes started happening years ago and other manufacturers adjusted the compounds that make the sole so this would not happen but Naot have not. Naot still advertise as high quality shoes which clearly they are not. Speaking to some local retailers they have been aware of this and will no longer stock Naot.
Same thing happened to me. Although I have had the shoes for years I only wore them about 8 times then the shoe sole disentegrated. Way too much money for horrible soles.
Same problem with two pairs Naot dress shoes
I wear orthotics so Naots are one of the few brands that take mine. I would say I've experienced at least five pairs of Naots where the soles just implode. Rapidly and completely. I've just paid $120 per pair to have new soles and heels put on. I'll never buy another pair of Naots when I find another brand that works with my high orthotics.
I have 4 pair disintegrate in the last year. Is there a bootmaker anywhere in Australia that can fit a new moulded sole. Maybe we can all write to Naot and ask for replacement soles if we can find a bootmaker to fit them. My last pair the uppers are in perfect condition. I have bought over 20 pair.
Same problem with mine too. Uppers still are in perfect condition, but soles are disintegrating!!! Is the company going to improve its quality?
Same here. I've been buying Naots for 25 years, but the soles on last 4 pairs disintegrated unexpectedly. I thought the first time I'd stepped in something corrosive, but now I know its just cheap materials. Never buying them again.
