My partner purchased a refurbished iPhone 11 4 months ago. Battery has swollen causing the screen to crack & the back to lift.
My partner will be emailing pics with the invoice shortly. As he needs his phone for business he has had to outlay more money for another one.
This would also have been extremely dangerous had the battery exploded whilst charging or being held. We will be in touch.
Huge waste of $600 very disappointed would be an understatement.
Ps was this even an iPhone battery as this seems extreme to say the least.

When refurbishing apple phones, are the proper parts used or are third-party pieces used in the repair?

i am wondering what does excellent mean in the condition box, for example does it have many marks or scar s that makes the screen un-pretty or make the chatting and watching videos uncomfortable and i am wondering if its like brand new >:)
Hi Hanna, I was expecting some signs of use. But the device appears new and I could not find a blemish. It looked new to my eye. It also performs as if new, the battery runs for such a long time. I could not be happier I purchased for OzMobiles. Hope this helps. Regards Scott.

I purchased the Samsung flip it's locked with a password why wasn't this ex demo flip had password removed I can't use it contacted samsung they said not to do factory reset

What do you mean by battery health 80% guarantee? Does that just mean when the phone arrives or is that just the highest amount of charge you can get on it?
Hi Riley, We guarantee a minimum of 80% battery health for the length of your warranty (one or two years). It could have anywhere between 80-100% battery health on arrival. If it drops below 80%, let us know and we will fix it for free.

should ex demo phones come with 100% battery health? i have just received my Ex demo phone and the battery health is lower than i am happy. as i brought an ex demo i would have assumed the battery health would be 100%
I did wonder the same. I haven't yet worked out the battery health as heavily using it. I would lodge a ticket with them to ask.
I'm not sure. You would hope it would. Contact support and ask them. Ozmobile don't provide much information on the invoice or their website that explains specific details on what individual phones will be like when they arrive. I bought a refurbished one from them and had no idea they replaced the screen with a non-Apple one and this means I'm not eligible for a warranty with Apple Care. The screen failed after 4 weeks of use and although Ozmobile directed me to Apple to get it fixed, they wouldn't as the screen had been replaced with some low quality one apparently. If I want Apple to fix it, they will charge me $450. If the screen was an Apple one, I wouldn't have to pay anything. Hopefully you'll get better support for your issue than what I'm getting! FYI, never but a refurbished phone from them as it's such a risk and you don't really know what they've done to it before you get it.

how long would an very good iPhone 11 pro max last for?
Hi Samantha, Good question, an 11 Pro max should last you technically at least 2-3 years. It depends on the battery life though, all of our iPhones come with a min of 80% battery health. We provide a 12 month warranty also, if you want you can pay extra and extend the warranty when purchasing the device.
