Thinking of signing up for the 1000/50 plan but there don’t seem to be many speed stats available. Can someone please do a Speedtest for Perth/Duncraig area and share the results? Overall, Tangerine seems to be an excellent service provider, but I would like to get a rough idea of the speed to make an informed decision on whether or not to proceed. Many thanks. Deano

I am wanting to get a user experience perspective as it appears that Tangerine is not able to supply that data (strangely after the service has been up for at least 3 - 4 months already). Why not get someone from the company post their statistics here - even if these are based on a short window - and this can be compared to the user stats that customers post? It shouldn't be necessary to contact the company for that sort of info. I am deciding between Tangerine and another two companies and this data would be helpful for me to make an informed decision. Holding back on this important information may preclude Tangerine from the decision.
Yep, don't trust them. Nowhere near the speeds they claim. When you lodge a job with them to fix, they do nothing and then close the job - then they block you from your account so you can't lodge a job.
I went with AussieBB in the end and have been getting amazing speeds - 920/32. The free fibre install went smoothly and the account setup and billing process was flawless too. Amazingly, AussieBB sent me a note to say they were permanently reducing my monthly access cost from $150 to $130. Worth every cent in my view.
I also shut down my 27 year old TPG account as their service was too slow and they cancelled email service on top of that, so it was time to leave them.
