is it legal to advertise an amount then get to the payment and add on GST?
This is off the Ato website. If your business is registered for GST, you need to: ninclude GST in the price of sales to your customers nclaim credits for the GST included in the price of your purchases for your business.
Vine Apparel look like the way they are doing it looks like double dipping.
Hey Susan. Thanks for the question. GST is included in all of our advertised prices on our website. We provide a breakdown of the included GST at check out. Please let us know if we can help with anything else. xo

Hi Could you please tell me when the Bonnie dress in black will be available. I purchased a week ago but wrong size. I returned within 3 business days but now out of stock!! I have a credit note that I'm left with but nothing else on your website interests me. Regards Michelle
Hey Michelle, Thanks for getting in touch. Yes we will be! We just aren’t 100% sure when. You can click on the product on the website, select your size and enter your details to be notified when it has arrived (this will be the fastest way), but we will also keep your email aside and let you know when it / they’re in.
Thank you!

Please can you tell me where the clothes are made, which country?
Hey JayneED, We buy from wholesalers in Sydney who have their own factories in China, majority are family run businesses, and wholesalers in Bali who also have their own factories. We have visited the main factory in Bali and met the workers, assessed their conditions and pays, and we are happy with them.
Hope that helps :)

Thank you. Would it be possible to show where goods are made on individual items?
Hey JayneED,
We will definitely pass this suggestion on to our team :)
Please email us at customercare@vineapparel.com if you have any questions about a specific item.
Thanks,

Hi, have bought for the first time off u and the panel jeans and the ness top Fitted so well and I love them both. The favourite jeans were too tight so I’ve sent them back. I would like to know if I have a big bloated tummy these days, what other winter tops will hide my tummy and what other jeans will hide my tummy or should I buy another pair of panel jeans. Thanking you Kerry Topic
Hey Kerry! We're so sorry for the delay getting back to you. Here's a link to the top's we have in stock: external link . You may like the Carmen Knit, the Kingsley Long Sleeve and Winter Kylie xx
Please tell me the cost, and expected time - of shipping (traveller Pants) to Perth, Australia?

HELLO . Just tracking my order#362256. Thank you MICHELLE
Hey Michelle, We don't check this page very often, the best way to contact us is to email us customercare@vineapparel.com Thank you, Mel x
Why are you selling exactly the same clothes as this website for TRIPLE THE COST? external link Annie Cloth actually prices the clothes well....no expectations that they will be good quality.
Cause they can. They prey on people that think they are safe purchasing items from an Australian store and then the sting is in the tail if you are unsatisfied with the item. However, if you purchased with PayPal or credit card you can get a full refund.
We aren't - what you'll find with these cheap websites such as Ali Express, Wish, Shein and a heck of a lot more than them, is that they copy items and use photos which aren't their own to sell cheap imitation products. If we could get items this cheap and sell them on we'd be absolute millionaires and would have retired by now, which we aren't, and we haven't. We also definitely wouldn't have been in business for nearly 12 years, because we wouldn't have any repeat customers and no one would come in to our stores to shop, over and over again. Hope that helps x
Stop the press! You answered after 3 months! Well that is progress for sure...now if you could keep up with Australian standards regarding online purchases you will be millionaires for sure! Have a fabulous day XXXX
Av U, You might want to check out the reviews for Annie Cloth. I looked, just out of interest, and they are virtually all negative - take a very long time to arrive, poor quality, items that look nothing like the pictures advertised, inconsistent and completely inaccurate sizing, and a sky-high cost to return unwanted goods back to China. Product Review even say they've had to remove some obviously fake good reviews.
Yes, I'm surprised that Vine don't offer refunds routinely for products bought online sight unseen that may not suit, or fit well, but at least you can return them quickly and get a credit.
I think the clothes are reasonably priced for what they are. Always a good idea to check the returns policy before buying, I've bailed from plenty of "No Returns" sites in the past.
Are you going to update your refund policy to be in line with Australian Consumer Protection Laws or are you going to continue to hope that the "loud cranky customers" go away. Or are you going to rely on Paypal or customers banks/ credit cards to clean up your mess? Word is getting out X
Hi Dee, Thanks for your question here. As mentioned in our correspondence directly. We understand your frustration, when you confirmed your order and finalised checkout out on our website, you in turn accepted our terms and conditions. Our returns policy is clearly stated online next to every item under the description. These policies are in line with guidelines from the ACCC. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for change of mind as was your case. As offered to you directly, we will happily exchange your items and issue you a credit note. We do try to be as honest as possible with sizing, measurements, lots of photos from different angles, different models where we can – I’m not sure what more we could do to make sure people know what they’re getting. We also buy majority of our things from wholesalers, which we have never tried to hide, but we always put how things fit and how we find the sizing in the description. We know there are some negative reviews about us, but we also know there are a heck of a lot more positive reviews, and our returning customer rate speaks for itself – unfortunately though the cranky people are usually just louder.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I would also like to thank you for confirming your attitude towards customers that have a genuine complaint as loud cranky people. Also, please do not imply that I was insisting for a refund for change of mind. I wanted a refund as it was a product that was overpriced of inferior quality in addition to be being misrepresented. Paypal would not have issued me a refund if that was the case. I would also like to add that there are plenty of people on product review that have had exactly the same disgraceful experience I have. Perhaps you should refer to the page external link and not play semantics with customers. I would think in a world were online sales will be the bread and butter of sales a store would like their customer base to grow - not alienate. It is a shame really - I love supporting a good Australian company. Pity yours is not. Have yourself a lovely day X
I did want customers who are unhappy with their purchase to know that my request for 100% refund (including all postage) was upheld by Paypal. The same thing would apply to credit card purchases. The interesting thing about Vine Apparel was that even after they agreed (begrudgingly) to refund the money after the goods were returned...they STILL tried to dispute it.
Did you receive a refund through PayPal? My dispute was declined. I’m so upset, the tights I received were see through, I’d have never worn them.
Yes I did. Did PayPal refuse? You need to say product not as described.
Yeah, I did say that the items weren’t as described but they still went with seller. I’m not sure why, they just declined the dispute. I’ve tried contacting them about it but have had no reply.
Emma, I have sent you a message.
Sadly people are still being stung with the overpriced products vine sells. In addition they appear to be burying negative reviews. I believe that if you provide the evidence you have it will be reconsidered.
I've not received my over $200 purchase. I've FB messaged to the point it now says there away. I've emailed ten times and nothing. Il never buy again. Were in a pandemic my husband got laid off work and I wanted to help support small businesses. After this experience I won't ever buy online again and wished I had seen these reviews earlier. Ignorance and if I don't receive my order and my money's not refunded it's Stealing I'm so angry that anyone could be this low of a person
Oh goodness... thats not great for you!! Have you tried ringing them at their Mona Vale store or the warehouse? If no success, maybe contact NSW Fair Trading via messenger
I got a reply saying my order was missed and they'd send it express today. Well what I ordered is now out of stock so how will they send it. I asked today has it been sent no reply. I have a friend that lives there she can go collect my things or my refund. I wished I saw these reviews before. There FB page has good reviews then on here there shocking
After the problems that I have had with an order and the lack of communication I am going to make an official complaint with NSW Fair Trading. My email to Vine Apparel about this was also ignored. I would suggest putting a negative review on their facebook page also.
If you purchased with Paypal or credit card you can get your money back. Please see my review!
