have not just been evasive, but have also put firewalls in place that limit the provision of supporting documentation. Eventually they agreed to replace the sink as a “good will” but avoided any accountability or replaced cost. Do yourself a favour and look somewhere else. Anywhere else would be better than Franke when it comes to product quality or standing by the warranty. How can a sink possibly fail within 2 months. I wish I had seen the negativity rating of 55% before we purchased.

for 4 months under normal household use. That is not reasonable wear and tear for a product marketed as durable and sold at a premium price.
Even more disappointing was Franke’s response. Despite the sink only being installed 4 months ago, they dismissed the issue as “impact damage” and refused any warranty support.
A sink of this quality and cost should not be chipping after a few months, and a premium brand should stand behind its products. Based on both product durability and after-sales support, I would not definitely not recommend Franke, you are better off purchasing a no name brand for a quarter of the price. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!
Do not buy a Franke Box 220. After one month the sink is scratched and stained. Bought a Fienza tub for my laundry at the same time for a third of the price and no scratches no marks.

in Melbourne. I spoke with Louisa who was extremely helpful and accommodating in resolving my issue. All companies need a person like Louisa who gives the company its inherent value. It's one thing to make a purchase from a reputable company, but if something should go wrong, the silver lining should be the after sales service. I'm relieved to say that Franke has given me great confidence in knowing they are a company with integrity. It certainly gives you confidence in purchasing Franke products in the future
Excellent customer service – I had two Franke sinks installed over fifteen years ago. Recently the rubber washers on the plugs have deteriorated and begun to leak. Franke replaced both complete plugs at no charge - excellent service. Recommend highly.

particular the thick diameter of the mixer goose neck.
While it’s an expensive mixer the quality is evident with the mixer lever feeling smooth and solid.
Flow rate is average (6lt per minute) but I guess that’s the environmentally friendly thing.
Decided to get the non pull out version as didn’t think I’d use it and haven’t missed it.
My plumber reckons being European the hot and cold is the reverse of a typical Australian mixer and the lever sits on the side not the front, but hasn’t been an issue.

pots and pans that bump it leave marks that are difficult to get off. I have to bleach it with liquid bleach on a weekly basis and it still never looks great, even though it's less than a year old. Don't make the same mistake as me! I'm giving it two stars instead of one as the sink does it's job, it just doesn't look good anymore. Also, within the first fortnight a small piece cracked and broke off under the overflow plate. Thankfully you only see it when you lift off the overflow plate but it makes me question the quality.

damaged with bent corners- it's sent back. 2. Two weeks later, Franke Sink No. 2 arrives- this one is damaged even worse than the first one. I ring Franke customer service the same day to ask if they could check the item before sending out a third sink to confirm it's also not damaged, and if they could expedite delivery to help. The customer service lady didn't know the answer to either question and had nothing to say except asking me to send photos- which I immediately did. I also emailed Franke twice the same day asking for help. 3. Almost two weeks later, I still haven't heard back from Franke. 4. Today - Sink No 3 arrives - also damaged!
After two months of doing the dishes in the laundry, we've ended up getting a different brand sink instead.

up a small amount of water. The company sent a technician to check the issue. He said that it should only take a maximum of 7 mins to boil up the water, however, it actually took 12-15 mins, with different types of pots. All tests failed to meet the standard. He also comments that Franke actually was going to discontinue this product because a lot of complaints have been made for a variety of issues. It tells me that the company already knows that this product is problematic but still sells to customers. I found there is no integrity in their services. Even worse, the technician provided a report saying there is no issue with this product after, and the company is charging me for sending the technician for it. Overall, avoid Franke!
No back up – Fine while it's going BUT no spare parts. Franke freestanding stove no replacement trivets unavailable or oven parts. zero help to find equivalents. I now have to replace my whole unit. Certainly not with anything Franke. So much for Swiss quality.

I would not recommend. Rather, I'd get the plumber to arrange PVC glued fittings to achieve the same result.
In addition, the Australian Franke distributer has declared they "know nothing" about installing this kit. No support at all. What's the point?

ago. What was I thinking? I decided to use it before off loading on to one our kids, but shock horror IT IS GREAT! Just the simplicity of rolling it out over the draining area or even over the sink areas for extra bench space is brilliant. It’s so versatile it takes hot pans, drains washing up over the sink, place a chopping board on it while it’s over the sink, just love it. I would pay full price for it if ever it needed replacing. It’s edged with rubber ends so no scratching your beautiful sink! Sorry kids you missed out on this give away!
