achieving my goal. Vision Personal Trainers had opened a Gym in Eastlakes, right in level 1 of the building where I leve; One day I walked in and signed up. Benny (Owner/Manager ) took my information and put me under Rob's wing as my personal trainer. I dedicated myself 100% to follow his advise and instructions: from week 3 I started noticing results and in four months I reached one of my goals; now we are in working in building muscles. It hasn't been easy, like everything else; you have to be disciplined, the trainer's are only doing their job and you have to follow its routine. Rob is very professional and knowledgeable as are Benny and the rest of trainers; without their help it wouldn't have been possible. Also when you are on the group sessions (7 a week) all the clients and coaches are very respectful and there is a great sense of camaraderie. I recommend Vision Personal Trainer Eastlakes to anyone who seriously want to improve their health and well-being. Vision Personal Trainer Eastlakes has its doors open

reasons. I was refused. Then after the trial period. I was charged again. After contacting them again explaining that I was overseas at the time it was renewed. They emailed "As per our Customer Terms, all memberships are automatically charged quarterly or monthly unless cancelled a minimum of 24 hours before the billing date. This provides adequate time for our systems to be updated and to avoid further charges. We understand that sometimes things happen, therefore, we’ll review the request. If your request is within 24 hours of being charged and is billed directly by us, the team may be able to assist. All refund requests outside of this timeframe cannot be actioned." I emailed again explaining that I was overseas at the time it was renewed automatically and when I got back the 24 hour window had closed. I was hoping to use this app and rejoin later in the year but after this not a chance such terrible service. Especially because they can see that I have not used it.

Overpriced, terrible meals, repetitive fitness which is too difficult for mature users. Not worth the money at all, there are better programs on the market for free. Refuse to cancel despite health proof, poor customer service eg NONE

Would give a zero if I could! Regurgitating Andy's review as I could not have put it better myself. Such a waste of time and money! Not worth the… Read more

time or money – Where to begin. I signed up for ACFPT due to the positive reviews, which I now suspect are all fakes; basically every 5 star review is from an account that has only ever reviewed one company (ACFPT) and has a super generic avatar. It's fishy, to say the least. The reviews themselves are also very, very odd. "Provides informative courses that ensure students are sound in the field they have chosen and that they have an understanding in their field." - nice review, ChatGPT.

The course is dreadful. I'm only finishing it because I can't get a refund, and just want to get the Cert III and IV so I can start working at a gym.

The entire course is just PDF's compiled from information found on various public websites. No videos, no interactivity. You're then asked thousands of overly repetitive questions, again, in pure text. The word count is INSANE. Easily 3x a university dissertation. No multiple-choice, just paragraph after paragraph of mundane re-writing of the source material. They constantly remind you that "clients learn in various ways, so be sure to adapt to their learning style!", yet they, laughably, don't apply that to their own course. As one other reviewer put it, it's truly mind-numbing. The material is littered with spelling errors and missing words.

They then expect you to find a personal trainer who will essentially baby-sit you for 60 hours (!?) for free, and take on various tasks with their clients, most of which are vague, poorly worded, or simply irrelevant. I'm just lucky that I happen to be on a good standing with the personal trainer at my gym, and he was happy to help out. But generally speaking, such a request is a tall order. This was written by Andy and could not be more accurate!!!

sport disciplines is very challenging and trying to maintain focus can be very difficult. GK monitor my progress mental and physical, provide encouragement when things get tough (and it does during a Ironman build) and are willing to listen and modify the program to suit “life commitments” and injuries (training can be brutal).

GK has turned my poor swimming ability into a very confident and competent swimmer. They have helped me unlock my potential on the bike. Running was a discipline I used to hate, but GK has turned this around to the point where I love my run days with great sets and challenges, even when I’m broken!

Overall GK has brought my triathlon life to the next level, whilst making it sustainable. Love being apart of the GK crew!!!

improve my health, lose a few pounds and was struggling to get started. I am so grateful I found Simplicity Personal Training at Mascot.

The vibe is relaxed, friendly, unintimidating - very important to me - and they cater for any level of fitness and experience. It is an intimate experience, not at all overcrowded. And the gym is very clean, so it feels nice to be there too.

I'm fitter and healthier and stronger. I feel happier about myself than I did before I starting earlier this year. Importantly, I really do feel my PT, Georgie has contributed to extending my work life. I feel I now have the ability to carry on working in my chosen vocation, which requires some physical fitness, for longer. I'm really happy about that.

It was a lucky day, the day I found Simplicity Personal Training.

During my time studying Certificate III and IV in Fitness through FitCollege at the Joondalup campus in Western Australia, I experienced a number of… Read more

serious issues that ultimately led me — and many of my peers — to consider or pursue alternative education providers. While I initially enrolled with high hopes, the course experience was undermined by inconsistent assessment practices, poor communication, and a management structure that failed to support its students. Several students in our intake chose to withdraw entirely from the course, unable or unwilling to endure the environment that had been created by the actions of [Name Removed] (the lead assessor) and the ongoing inaction of FitCollege management.

Within the first few weeks, it became clear that [Name Removed] — who was responsible for marking assessments — was not aligned with the content or expectations being taught by our lecturers. On a near-daily basis, students were instructed to follow a specific structure for assignments, only to be told upon submission that our work was incorrect or incomplete. This constant contradiction created confusion, stress, and frustration among the group.

Despite repeatedly raising these issues with our lecturers — and being told they had passed our concerns on to the area manager — nothing was done. When [Name Removed] later conducted feedback sessions about the course, many students felt deeply uncomfortable voicing honest feedback, as the very person they had complaints about was also the one receiving and reviewing those complaints. This created an unsafe and anxiety-provoking environment for students.

I personally reached out to the area manager, [Name Removed], and outlined my concerns. Rather than taking them seriously, I was told that “it’s just a personality clash between you and [Name Removed],” and that nothing could be done. I later learned from previous students that they had raised the same complaints — and [Name Removed] had been removed from marking their work. This confirmed that:

The issue had been ongoing for at least a year,

Management was fully aware, and

I had been misled and dismissed.

Many students across both my intake and the previous one reported that [Name Removed] had clearly lost interest in his role, and his disengagement negatively impacted the course delivery. When students booked 1-on-1 time with him to clarify feedback, he never referred to any marking rubric or consistent criteria. Instead, his feedback was vague, contradictory, and unconstructive — often limited to statements like “this is wrong” or “you’re missing something,” without further explanation.

On top of these issues, FitCollege regularly invited guest speakers to promote their businesses to students. One such speaker, a former FitCollege employee who ran a personal training mentoring business, presented himself as someone we could trust for industry advice. When I told him I was considering leaving FitCollege due to the poor student experience, he referred me to a new education provider — disclosing that he would receive a $500 referral fee if I enrolled. I appreciated the honesty, but I was not made aware — nor was it explained — that FitCollege had a lock-in enrolment contract, and that I would not be able to withdraw after a short cooling-off period.

Given his experience working with FitCollege, it’s reasonable to expect that he knew this — yet he failed to properly advise me or provide any follow-up support once I realised I was locked into two overlapping enrolments. As a result, I’m now stuck paying thousands of dollars more to complete my Certificate IV through the new provider while still financially bound to FitCollege — all because I trusted the guidance of someone promoted to us as a mentor.

That said, I want to be clear in recognising that the lecturers themselves were exceptional. They were easily the highlight of the entire educational experience across both Certificate III and Certificate IV. Their professionalism, dedication, and deep knowledge of the fitness industry made a genuine difference. Without their support, I doubt many of us would have successfully completed the course. They are the only reason many students made it through.

Unfortunately, that dedication was not matched by the systems or support structures behind the scenes. I now find myself in a frustrating and costly position — all stemming from a lack of transparency, mismanagement, and failure to protect students from internal dysfunction and conflicting commercial interests. I hope this complaint highlights the need for greater accountability within FitCollege and stronger safeguards for students who trust providers with their time, money, and future.
