However on approaching Gentrax they suggested I remove carby, fuel lines etc, were quite dimissive, then suggested I'd have to pay for repairs when I indicated I wasnt touching it as it was under warranty. They then changed their tune and said I could return it at my cost and they would assess the issue. Had no confidence they would fix or replace product. Have since purchased a quality Honda generator, more expensive, however at least I know it will go the distance. Will never buy a gentrax again, cheap, unreliable and customer service very poor.

I would not have the new model for no other reason than the very loud fan that runs full noise for at least 5 full minutes every time it strikes an arc irrelevant of temperature. Very annoying in a quiet workplace like a home workshop. I actually bought the new model and returned it in disgust, It totally contradicts the advertised “smart fan” feature that Unimig advertises with the new model. What a shame. If you can find the KUM-M-RTIG200ACDC buy it and dont sell it! I Awesome welders so much better than the new model in my opinion.

S200. Our pool is 10x3m and is Magna mineral (so low chlorine). We used to leave the M5 in the pool permanently and run twice weekly cycles, but after that failed we were told to never leave the new machine in the pool. We take it out after every cycle, noting is also needs to be run 2-3 times to clean the pool effectively even with the fine mesh filter. After 3 years the motor failed, we replaced the motor as it was out of warranty. 2 years later the motor has failed again. This is unacceptable in a $2,000 pool cleaner and says a lot about the make and reliability of the product. Maytronics customer service were no help and simply hide behind their legal obligation of the warranty conditions. Given both the repeated failures and Maytronics’ unwillingness to stand behind the product in these circumstances, I do not recommend this product. I had hoped Maytronics would recognise that this is not a case of normal wear and tear, but rather repeated failure of a major component, and would demonstrate confidence in the quality of its products through some level of goodwill support.

I know my mig is no longer available but it is still going strong. I am using it in an all steel extension of my mancave. Working up at 3 meter heights is no problem. Love my unimig. Show details

into flotation devices. Before the machine will sink and do its job, you need to spend quite a while first "massaging" the rollers to get them to start soaking up water. Both drive belts snapped. The cord twists around itself in normal operation *very* quickly, and is very difficult to straighten out (hint - for goodness sake, buy a cordless model of whatever brand you get). The constantly twisted cord reduces the robot's operational range and at times threatens to pull the controller into the water. The connector housing where the cord goes into the body of the controller became loose very quickly, and with all the cord twisting, it eventually severed the electric wires completely, thus rendering the machine unusable. The carrier supplied by Robotek began rusting almost immediately. The climb function can't deal with curved steps, and would often get hung up at an awkward angle. The mapping function is poor, with the machine focussing on one half of the pool and largely ignoring the other half. The device can't handle leaves from palm trees and struggled with slightly larger leaves such as those from some magnolia trees nearby. At the end of the day, any labour time the device saves you is cancelled out by the the effort of managing this device and the fact I had to finish the job properly with the traditional pool vacuum/brush. Positives: the filter bags, though painful to install, picked up fine dirt and sand well, and are machine washable.

maintain. I've spent insignificant amount of chemicals compared to salt and chlorine pools. Even if it were the HARDEST and most expensive to maintain, I'd still buy it, because it's fresh water. I've drunk it. I'm about to install Enviroswim in another pool.

Usually within 3 pulls. I get it serviced yearly and checked over. Only use BP 95 as a fuel.never have problems. Can change heads. I have the 2 attachments I use. I grease the attchments before i install them. They work great too.

bad. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it regularly hoping that the newer version will be better but no luck. These are the problems.

1. When the app eventually loads, it often can’t make contact with the robot cleaner despite that I’m standing next to the power pack. 2. Overcoming the above problem by repeated random button pushing, the Home Screen when it eventually displays is all but blank. Going to the ‘change cleaning mode’ screen and returning to the Home Screen seems to fix this problem (I think). 3. Changing the cleaning mode does not always make the cleaner obey the new mode. This morning I put in ‘floor only’ mode only to see it cleaning at the waterline a few minutes later. 4. The manual drive inputs take so long to reach the robot that I find this feature practically useless. 5. The other features supposedly offered by the app (shop?) I never use.

I don’t need to be able to operate my pool cleaner from anywhere in the world, just when I’m next to the pool. It would be wonderful if Maytronics ditched the silly internet app and came up with a reliable hard-wired control system. I’d definitely buy a new cleaner if it had this feature.

I asked if they were waiting on imports and told no all made in Australia. I repeated I just want an idea how long and whether it is worth waiting or not and was again told marketing team will notify etc etc. I asked to speak to marketing team. Told no the marketing team will notify...

If these are locally made, then it should not be hard to say when an item is being manufactured. Disappointed however, I won't be buying from this company, especially given previous reviews.

pleasure dealing with them. After a week I received a call to say a replacement welder was ready for me to pickup. I have never experienced this type of service when trying to get something repaired under warranty as it always been a struggle. I can highly recommend the Weldclass and their machines. I’m a boilermaker by trade and I would have to say this is one of the best welding machines I have ever used.

as it is out of the box it will not start. sent a detailed description of the issue, long wait, then they wanted video's. asked for conformation they had received and took a few days just to confirm they had and they had been sent to the "technician". after another week another email and claimed they have not heard from the "technician" im a month out from purchase still without a working generator. they have now said they are sending a courier to pick it up. will update as it happens - but as of now would recommend not touching with a 10 foot pole
