Hi Recently Australia Post lost my two parcels, When I called them they gave misleading information regarding tracking the parcel. The items were posted via USPS ex. tracking number EY641078099US. I called Australia post and they said the package is still overseas. The last update that Australia POst has is ""Arrived at facility CHICAGO (US), UNITED STATES Column, event date and time, Thu 19 Jan, 8.20pm. I checked with USPS and it shows International Transit Departed SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA January 26, 2023, 11:51 am. The same DAI post shows the same as USPS. PLease explain why there are two different tracking information regarding parcel.
Hi AusPost,
I posted my documents via international express to Pakistan , tracking no. EJ302824272AU. The status shows that it is still at Sydney West facility. Can you pls check why is it not moving ? When will it be boarded on the plane? It has already taken too much time sitting at the facility here in Sydney.
Hope to get an answer soon!
Hi I am getting “processed by air carrier” for my international mail to India. I posted it on 11 Nov and need this delivered by end of Nov otherwise my pension will stop. Can you tell me the estimated delivery date pls? My tracking number is LP111124145AU
Hi , my parcel tracking number is 349PR4099227. It's an express post which should've arrived on November 3rd the Thursday. I haven't seen any updates og my parcel since Wednesday while the other parcels shipped in the same batch from China have all been delivered. Is my parcel lost?
Hi AusPost, I am expecting a document from overseas that was "incorrectly sorted and forwarded to the correct location" in Melbourne on the 17th October. I do live in Victoria but there has been no status update since. Is there any way to know what has happened to it? Kind regards, Jarrod
What does the update mean : held - awaiting further instructions
Hi there. I have the same problem. Can I please ask what happened to your parcel after this?
Shipment was refused by auspost for no reason and returned to the sender
Sent out to Taiwan from Brisbane on 13/09 and it’s been stuck in Sydney shows Clears and awaiting for international departure since last Friday 16/09, and yet, it has been another week passed, the auspost staff couldn’t answer my question and says it’s a delay…. What’s the point for paying express I mean… it’s urgent so that’s why I paid express. Very disappointed.
I sent to Taiwan on 14th still stuck in Sydney airport too. Looks like we are waiting for the same flight.
Thank you for letting me know that I’m not alone….
Hi Anastasia and Michael - did your parcels make it to Taiwan yet? I sent mine Tue 4 Oct with International Express (3-8 business days to Taiwan per AusPost website). After two weeks (today is 18 of October) they are still in Australia, including one week in Sydney with "Cleared and awaiting international departure". Hope yours made it - I thought I was going insane...
Yes... it arrived on 4/10 and then my mum received it the next day... There were two public holidays in Australia when I sent it out that's why it took so long.
I got a update on 8 th September that my items ( grandmas antique) I’ve inherited was collected by carrier, usps is saying Auspost will be the delivery however since the 8th it hasn’t been scanned in Sydney after a customs check I’m in WA, and now two weeks and other things posted after are arriving and the tracking still isn’t coming up in auspost system, and no one can tell me who actually has this family heirloom I’m starting to worry a lot
Similar issue. According to USPS my parcel has been to Brisbane, Sydney and is on it's way. Aust Post don't have it according to them.
What did u do then? Have you received any update now? I had a parcel from India, Indian post office says the parcel landed in Australia on 14th sept but on auspost app it says on its way which means the consignment didn’t have a air carrier yet. I am confused. Where should I look for my consignment? It’s for a Rothesay present..
Still absolutely nothing airport and usps is saying auspost would be the delivery company however it’s marked as collected by carrier online from the 8 th and still isn’t here now been in travel for nearly 6 weeks and auspost and usps sent taking responsibility for it, and it’s never been scanned since just awful
Any indication on current delivery times for parcels posted express from Brisbane to Norfolk Island?

Update: after contacting both Auspost and Customs and received unhelpful support, I asked senders to contact directly to Aupost and Customs. After 1 day then my package has been arrived in Adelaide.

Hi, have you received your package? I have the same issue and don't know what to do :(

I rang Canada post and they confirmed all my packages are in fact in Australia yet no aus authority will admit having it
Hi, I sent my fingerprints from AUS to USA for a background check for my visa. Sent International Express (Tracking # EJ288194794AU) on 05/02/2022. They estimated 5-8 business days. Now 12 days later and tracking says it's still in Sydney, "received by air carrier." These are sensitive documents, difficult to obtain, and very time sensitive as my immigration status is just pending this background check. I asked AusPost and they had no info other than "it's on its way." Lots of horror stories on this message board. I'm worried. Anyone have ideas or suggestions (other than just wait, which is what AusPost told me to do)? THANK YOU, Nick
