Hi there, I had two boxes sent from Brisbane to UK 3 weeks ago. One arrived within 10 days, the other, tracking number EY117957005AU is stuck on ‘item processed at sorting facility’ and has not arrived since March 11th. It is now March 24th. The contents are sentimental to me, I would love to know atleast that the package is coming even if delayed. Can anybody help?

Hi Juanita. Australia Post are very busy at Christmas so I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for an item to arrive before Xmas.

Have an item that's been at Inbound waiting clearance in Melbourne since September er 30th. Customs won't assist items under 1k, USPS won't assist cause it wasnt premium package even though it has tracking and cost $35. And Aus post can't help. How broken is this system that literally no one can tell me what's happening with my package even though I know where it is and it has tracking?
How long does it take for a parcel to get put on a plane to the U.S. in Melbourne? I understand that AusPost works with Qantas, and there are daily flights between Melbourne and Los Angeles (where the U.S. Postal Service has its west coast international service center). I clicked on product review for Australia Post and didn't realise it was Australia Post international. But I ordered a product in my state that was express post and it didn't turn up for 2 weeks. I haven't had a problem with Australia Post before, they've always been good. But this parcel being express post and literally not that far from from my home being that it was delivered from the main city of my state to my home was frustrating and also didn't make any sense to me.

Hi my friend in US sent package international priority express almost 2months ago to me in Australia, tracking shows it cleared US customs and last scan said "Moving through network" "departed USPS facility CARSON CA your item is currently in transit to the destination" but when the sender sent enquiry to USPS the reply was "no scanned events of the item being accepted into Australia", can you please give me info re delays thanks. My parcel cleared custom and was given to Australia Post for processing on the 12th September according to the tracking information and ther has been no further updates or information as to the whereabouts of the parcel. How can I find out where it is or how much longer I have to wait?

Hi. On the 1 August 2023 I sent a bottle of Tasmanian Whisky as a gift to a friend in Northern Ireland. The package went quickly through customs and on to the Air Courier. The parcel has not moved from there since they received it on 7 August. This whisky was very expensive $285 for 500ml. I have contacted Australia Post who have advised that it is still there but said they can't look into it until the end of the month. This parcel has cost me $79.25 in postage and I am honestly thinking that someone has read the label at the Air Carrier and decided they will take that home.....surely this could be the only reason that it has not progressed. I have a tracking number and I insured the parcel. Insuring it doesnt mean that someone can just take it home cause it is insured and they will get their money back and can buy another one. Well that is not the case as I cannot buy anymore bottles of this whisky as it has all sold out. I am very annoyed at this moment and want it investigated. Tracking number LK181337575AU
Sorry for the delay, I would be annoyed as well coming from Tasmania I can attest to the quality of the whiskey. I do believe customs can hold or stop numerous parcels regarding illegal substances.
No. It has already been passed by Customs. That happened on 4 August. It is the Air Courier that has it now and wont progress. As I said, I reckon someone at the air courier has taken possession of an exceptional bottle of whisky.

This is however not updated on your end. It still shows on your end that the parcel is "Cleared and awaiting international departure - LOS ANGELES (US), UNITED STATES".

I have a parcel sent from the USA out of LA to Perth. It was sent on 22/6 . Parcal tracking showing on the 11/7 shows its in perth "clear by customs and handed back to postal carrier for transportation and delivery" and "recieved by postal carrier for delivery" its now the 26/7 and i still havent recieved my parcel and its still showing the same message, there has been no update on the tracking. Whats going on? Its been over 2 weeks (over a month total) and there has no update or anything for me to know how or when i will get my parcel. Im confused doesnt make sense it would take this long??
