NBN 600 is advertised on the Spintel web site. When will it be available. I’m on NBN 250 and NBN 600 does not come up in the option to change plan.
I have FTTC connection and would like to choose SpinTel Home Superfast 250 from you. But there is no any mention about the free upgrade to FTTP like other providers in your website.

How long will i be without internet,if i switch providers
Go to Tangerine, they set it up so quickly it’s brilliant. We weren’t without internet at all. SpinTel have weird setup process which can be a rigmarole, it was for us whereas Tangerine was simple. I’ve done speed tests and they’re great too.

I was with mate communicate from 2017 onward till last week and just moved to Spintel 50/20 due to recent constant dropouts (last 6 months) and poor speed/ buffering. My ping with mate communicate was around 9 almost every time except dropouts / evenings. The ping I am getting with Spintel is around 50-54 as per the Spintel speed check. Is it normal???

I am using Telstra Smart Modem3 and if I changeover to SpinTel NBN, will the same equipment work?
Hi Andrew, Telstra Smart Modem3 is compatible to the NBN network. So long as this modem is not locked by your current provider, this will also work with SpinTel NBN. We will be providing you with the credentials to manually configure this modem once the order is completed.
Due to the high number of devices available on the market we can only provide limited ‘best efforts’ support in getting you online. BYO hardware is only recommended for those confident configuring their own hardware. If you are not confident configuring your own hardware we recommend purchasing one of our pre-configured modems.

Hi Andrew, I was using Belong modem and NBN prior to SpinTel NBN. When I moved to SpinTel NBN, my Belong modem worked without any issues. So your Telstra Smart Modem3 should also work if it is compatible with the NBN Network. Thanks

Comments on their fixed wireless typical evening speeds
I am a new Customer (No. 215970) in southern Adelaide and NBN down load speed has dropped to almost nothing (< 1 mbs) making it unusable for anything but simple broswing. Phoned for support and queues are busy so still waiting for a call back. Tried online chat and still waiting for a response. This is first time had such significant issues and finding it very difficult to get any info on what is going on. So far not very impressed with support process when have issues - cant even find somewhere I can formally report the issue so posting this.
Where is your call centre based?
I am moving to a house which used to be nbn connected but unfortunately all the nbn equipment inc the connection box and cabling are now missing (except the nbn socket on the wall). If I join Spintel 50/20 plan, would Spintel assist to gather and install the nbn equipment? How long will it take? Pls kindly confirm there will not be any additional cost involved.
Hi Paul, While placing the order please inform this situation to our sales representative, so that they can cascade the same in the NBN order. While we place the order with the NBN, we will inform them about the NBN equipment missing situation and they will roll back the current service class of your address. Then NBN will either send NBN equipment directly to your address or will send an NBN technician to your address to install the same. If the NBN connection type at your new address is HFC or FTTC, it will be self-installed and NBN will be sending the NBN equipment directly to your address and you need to connect it as per the directions provided in the box. In any case, there will NOT be any charges for the NBN equipment and in normal cases, it will take around 5 to 7 business days for you to get connected with NBN.
