My house has never had a phone or internet connection. Does Tangerine do the connection from the street to the house or do I need to get a contractor to do this?

Does the standard modem supplied by Tangerine work well or would it be best to get the upgraded moden instead? I live in a 2 storey townhouse and the internet would be required to work both up and downstairs between 2 people. Thank you.
I only have the standard modem and it works perfectly fine, however I only live in a one bedroom apartment so I’m not sure how it would go in a two story townhouse....sorry!

Buy a decent modem like a Netgear and if you find the signal to be weak downstairs, buy a WiFi repeater / extender that plus into a socket. Other repeaters you can buy work by utilising the house circuit, but the pair must be on the same house circuit to work. Test with a lamp by flicking off the one trip switch in your meter box. Either solution will be ok if you actually need it. Any obstacle in the way depending on density will impair the signal through floor and walls.
I currently have Exetel fixed wireless. Can I trial Tangerine before disconnecting from Exetel?
Would i have problems using my Fritzbox 7490? Also is it a stable connection for Rolystone Wa (sick of drop outs from current provider). what are all the payment options you offer?.

As many as your modem recommends I would say generally around 6-8 devices a standard modem could handle easily but depending on what you are downloading/uploading A more expensive modem can handle a lot more But as far as 25mbps nbn Speed id limit it to 3-4 devices used at the same time to get the best out of it
