Whilst this was an absolutely beautiful carpet when first laid… so soft and luxurious (we would get comments from visitors on how beautiful it felt underfoot)…. I agree with every negative comment in this thread. The carpet stretches, has flat tracks everywhere, pulls and stains badly. Please avoid this carpet, it is the worst choice we made while building our dream home and looking at it upsets me so much. We chose the premium underlay and apparently had the best carpet layers that Carpet Court had to offer. I wish I read a review like mine before choosing the carpet for our home. angry at Burrows for not telling them. To have the doors replaced would have cost upwards of 8000 dollars. We used them before for a lounge room carpet and were very happy, this time they got it all wrong. We wanted some flooring for a hallway and were quoted a price we were happy with, then the fitter wantedn to charge another price on top.

run around we got trying to the get the very obvious join mark rectified dragged on for months before it was eventually redone (the join only) is is 90% but not great. Fast foward to last week when we had the carpet professionally steam cleaned ahead of realestate photos to try and bring the excessive wear back to life and there has been a sever reaction with the carpet and/or underlay and our carpet has now turned a strange yellow colour with what looks look water damage marks. Sam was contacted during this cleaning and handballed it to Feltex to deal with as not his problem, again!! Feltex repsonded on Friday saying someone will be in touch in 10 - 15 business days to organise an inspection!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what???? This is extreme and urgent. After several calls to Feltex apparently the GM can't be contacted to escalate this as they don't know where he is?? Really. Please be warned!!!!!!

for a flooring report to be made and a guy named John answered the call. He told me a cost of $429 for the person to come inspect the flooring and prepare the report and share it with me.

Nobody showed up on the day it was promised. After chasing them again and again a few days later a guy named Ali came to inspect the flooring and advised I’ll have to pay more money to get the report. To my surprise when I showed him the invoice sent by John which was paid in full already he dint bother and said you can have your refund.

I advised I’m fine with the refund then as this is an unethical practice of taking money and then asking for more money. It’s coming to a month and they haven’t refunded anything and ignoring my calls now. I’m in the process of taking things legally however save yourself the hassle of dealing with this company and repenting later on.

After going through all the reviews now I feel sad I wish I would have seen them before dealing with this company.

When issues were raised, they sent a representative (who was overly up himself), whose approach was belittling and dismissive. Instead of addressing the concerns, he spoke down to us as if we knew nothing about flooring, brushed off the problems entirely, and offered no solutions.

After that visit, there was zero follow-up. No calls. No emails. No accountability. We were left completely empty-handed and ultimately had to engage another contractor and pay out of pocket to fix a job that should have been done properly in the first place.

If you’re expecting after-sales support, professionalism, or even basic communication — look elsewhere.

gave us ideas of what could be done and colours etc. He said he would quote when we had chosen the carpet and flooring. We changed samples a number of times, finally making choices. Sent an email with these choices and waited for the quote, it did not come. I do not understand why we were put through the process, if they did not want the job. The process took a couple of weeks. What a waste of our time and how rude. They could have just said they did not want the job.

Highly Recommend – We have used Sapphire Floorcare twice for tile and grout cleaning, and have found them punctual with an excellent attention to detail. 5 Stars!

water and no chemicals. Lounge was not cleaned, it was only wet. A terrible stain has been left on one of the cushions and they are not responding to my complaints at all. I would never recommend these people at all. They are disgraceful. They tried to get more money out of me when they arrived, they didn’t move the back cushions while cleaning the seats ( I had to ask them to do that) and they tried to say the ottoman was not included in the price. I showed them photos of what I got a quote for, so they agreed to clean it. I spoke with several people during the clean as I was not happy and my calls were constantly moved around to different people and “head office”. Totally unprofessional. My guess is they charge whatever they can get out of you and all you get is water put on your lounge. I would NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE THEM AGAIN. Following her advice I proceeded with having carpets laid. The workman arrived spot on time and had the old carpets removed and new ones laid by 12:30pm. Absolutely no fuss or unexpected problems. The results look fantastic - and Im pretty fussy.

unprofessional. I purchased these Luxury Vinyl Planks, which gapped and shrank across multiple properties.

The first assessor, a Territory Sales Representative, confirmed in front of a witness that the flooring was defective. He declined an opportunity to inspect my other affected properties, stating he was satisfied that the product from the same batches was defective.

A second assessment was scheduled, and 3 representatives arrived instead of the 2 advised, including the Technical Manager and State Sales Manager. Despite the first assessor’s conclusion, the second visit produced a very different outcome. During this visit, an adhesive sample was collected in a urine specimen jar and handled without gloves and used scrapers. A removed plank was reinstalled using adhesive from a jar labelled “Three Threes Apple Sauce”. SafeWork NSW has issued a regulatory response in relation to this matter.

The Technical Manager stated the adhesive sample would be sent to “Nexus Laboratory” for FTIR testing. No laboratory report or FTIR results were provided in the final report. I’ve been unable to identify any laboratory by that name.

The Technical Manager’s report contradicted the first assessment and attributed the issue to installation. It relied on an installation guide dated 17 August 2020, which does not appear in the public domain, unlike other editions. No compatibility testing between the mandated hard-set adhesive and product 830406 was done as confirmed by Dunlop Flooring, and repeated requests for dimensional stability reports were not fulfilled.

Separately, the Retail Partner advised in writing that the issue was product-related, directly contradicting the Technical Manager’s conclusions. The Territory Sales Representative identified a defective product, the Technical Manager attributed the issue to installation, and the Retail Partner acknowledged a product fault.

Attempts to escalate the matter locally and to leadership within Victoria PLC, did not lead to a resolution raising serious questions about oversight and accountability. Formal reports have been shared with Regulators, including FOI records.

The handling of this matter raises serious concerns about accountability and whether product 830406 met reasonable expectations under Australian Consumer Law.
