Whilst this was an absolutely beautiful carpet when first laid… so soft and luxurious (we would get comments from visitors on how beautiful it felt underfoot)…. I agree with every negative comment in this thread. The carpet stretches, has flat tracks everywhere, pulls and stains badly. Please avoid this carpet, it is the worst choice we made while building our dream home and looking at it upsets me so much. We chose the premium underlay and apparently had the best carpet layers that Carpet Court had to offer. I wish I read a review like mine before choosing the carpet for our home. angry at Burrows for not telling them. To have the doors replaced would have cost upwards of 8000 dollars. We used them before for a lounge room carpet and were very happy, this time they got it all wrong. We wanted some flooring for a hallway and were quoted a price we were happy with, then the fitter wantedn to charge another price on top.

Be very careful as they have gone down in service.

run around we got trying to the get the very obvious join mark rectified dragged on for months before it was eventually redone (the join only) is is 90% but not great. Fast foward to last week when we had the carpet professionally steam cleaned ahead of realestate photos to try and bring the excessive wear back to life and there has been a sever reaction with the carpet and/or underlay and our carpet has now turned a strange yellow colour with what looks look water damage marks. Sam was contacted during this cleaning and handballed it to Feltex to deal with as not his problem, again!! Feltex repsonded on Friday saying someone will be in touch in 10 - 15 business days to organise an inspection!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what???? This is extreme and urgent. After several calls to Feltex apparently the GM can't be contacted to escalate this as they don't know where he is?? Really. Please be warned!!!!!!

for a flooring report to be made and a guy named John answered the call. He told me a cost of $429 for the person to come inspect the flooring and prepare the report and share it with me.

Nobody showed up on the day it was promised. After chasing them again and again a few days later a guy named Ali came to inspect the flooring and advised I’ll have to pay more money to get the report. To my surprise when I showed him the invoice sent by John which was paid in full already he dint bother and said you can have your refund.

I advised I’m fine with the refund then as this is an unethical practice of taking money and then asking for more money. It’s coming to a month and they haven’t refunded anything and ignoring my calls now. I’m in the process of taking things legally however save yourself the hassle of dealing with this company and repenting later on.

After going through all the reviews now I feel sad I wish I would have seen them before dealing with this company.

24 months they want absolutely nothing to do with you.

When issues were raised, they sent a representative (who was overly up himself), whose approach was belittling and dismissive. Instead of addressing the concerns, he spoke down to us as if we knew nothing about flooring, brushed off the problems entirely, and offered no solutions.

After that visit, there was zero follow-up. No calls. No emails. No accountability. We were left completely empty-handed and ultimately had to engage another contractor and pay out of pocket to fix a job that should have been done properly in the first place.

If you’re expecting after-sales support, professionalism, or even basic communication — look elsewhere.

We replaced carpet on stairs, landings and 2 rooms with hard wearing vinyl. Chris who came to give final advice and measure impressed with his knowledge. Installers, Trent and Beau, bring numerous years of experience and were amazing. Easy to have in our home and the job they did is 100% - they cut in seamlessly. Sean also came to sort out an unforeseen complication - which he solved. We visited 2 other flooring shops before Carpet One and while happy enough with service and what they had on offer, Carpet One was an easy choice to go with. Can highly recommend...and no, I haven't been offered a bribe :) PS I know people tend to write reviews if they're either very happy or disappointed with their experience. I'm interested that Carpet One has so many negative reviews; though not for Kotara (Newcastle) - our experience couldn't have been better.

gave us ideas of what could be done and colours etc. He said he would quote when we had chosen the carpet and flooring. We changed samples a number of times, finally making choices. Sent an email with these choices and waited for the quote, it did not come. I do not understand why we were put through the process, if they did not want the job. The process took a couple of weeks. What a waste of our time and how rude. They could have just said they did not want the job.

Highly Recommend – We have used Sapphire Floorcare twice for tile and grout cleaning, and have found them punctual with an excellent attention to detail. 5 Stars!

at $50 a seat and then was reduced to $30 a seat x 6 seats. Then a different rate of $220 when they got to the house. This was agreed on due to a little extra work. However I left, and he charged my wife an extra $55 without mentioning it to anyone.

Now refusing to refund the fraudulent difference and the house is covered in water.

Following her advice I proceeded with having carpets laid. The workman arrived spot on time and had the old carpets removed and new ones laid by 12:30pm. Absolutely no fuss or unexpected problems. The results look fantastic - and Im pretty fussy.
