What is normally a straightforward process with other companies quickly became overwhelming. In response, I received 8 text messages, 5 missed phone calls, and 11 emails - and only one of those communications actually contained a quote.

My concerns deepened when I replied to a text message at around 1am and received an immediate response, followed by several more messages shortly after. This raised suspicions that I was interacting with an AI bot rather than a human. While the messages attempted to appear human through small spelling or typing errors (as shown in my screenshots), I later discovered through other reviews that many people had the same suspicion - and that the company has since confirmed their use of AI bots.

As a result, I will never again provide my phone number through an online contact form, and I strongly suggest others consider doing the same. Certain companies - including this one - will relentlessly follow up across multiple channels, leaving you no option but to block them.

It also appeared that I wasn’t dealing with a single point of contact. Instead, I seemed to be interacting with multiple people (5?) who were not communicating with each other, resulting in duplicated messages via text, email, and phone calls at different times. This was confusing, intrusive, and ultimately unprofessional. Now I think they weren’t even real people at all. How do I know they weren’t all AI bots???

Additionally, after reading numerous reviews here and on Google - and based on my own experience - it’s clear that Fly By Fun does not directly employ entertainers or run the activities themselves. They operate as a middleman, adding an estimated 25–30% markup to services provided by third parties. It would not surprise me if the staff are working on commission (if there are any human staff at all), which may explain the aggressive follow-up.

Finally, a quick search of the founder and owner, Isobel Hawson, suggests that her primary business focus is not providing children’s party entertainment, but rather the development and deployment of AI-driven sales systems. This leaves me questioning whether I interacted with a human at any point during this process and why I’m bothering with such a company who don’t have their focus or interest on children’s entertainment or parties at all.

Overall, this experience was frustrating, invasive, and disappointing.

wedding at 2pm on the eve of the wedding, the booking confirmation arrived by email with a 5-seater stretch (think gangster) Jaguar confirmed. No prior warning, no apology, a very aggressive Matt on the phone when my daughter phoned him. We had no choice other than to proceed although literally at 7pm that same day less than 20 hours before the wedding we managed to find another car. The other two amazing and professional companies we used for a replacement Rolls and 5 x BMWs said Allure Limousines do this all the time - they double book the Rolls and send an alternative so late there is no other option. They will tell you it's their most popular car. This company is shoddy, aggressive and predatory in their tactics. They rely on the fact that they have you cornered at the very last minute before a wedding without a choice. DO NOT USE THEM.

All chairs were returned in the same condition as recieved. Post collection the organisation insisted on retaining part of the paid bond. The reason being - it had supposedly rained. There was never any indication that the chairs were required to be covered for collection. This approach smells of desperation and is certainly is not reflective of a professional business that conducts itself in an honourable manner.

The bride was raised by her step mother and the birth mother was to be acknowledged in the brides speech but the MC overheard the mother whinging to the father of the groom about the speeches and lack of recognition as the mother. She did absolutely nothing for the wedding, the MC overheard the exchange (not knowing the family dynamics) and suggested to the father of the groom to make another speech to toast just the mothers without the bridal couple knowing or giving permission. The step mother was totally disrespected and left out of the speech. Unprofessional.

At pick up time, he helped to 'find' the cutlery that had been misplaced and even assisted with trying to find misplaced car keys....all in 40+ degree heat. We couldnt thank the driver enough, he really went over and above. Our experience with Harts was excellent, and we would recommend them highly!

at Lollipop Playland, Canberra, was extremely disappointing and distressing.

During our child’s birthday party, two of the indian boys in the party aged 7 and 8 were singled out after a complaint, from a family, despite many other children playing in the same area similar way. A staff member approached the situation in an aggressive and confrontational manner, speaking loudly and publicly instead of addressing it calmly and professionally.

They immediately cooperated and spoke to the children, while other children continued playing the same game in the area. Yet the staff continued to escalate the situation and decided to put the children and the families on the show.

When questioned, the owner gave inconsistent answers about whether the behaviour was even witnessed and failed to explain why only our non-white children were targeted while other children were not questioned.

When concerns of discrimination were raised, they were dismissed, and we were spoken to disrespectfully. As we were leaving, multiple staff members surrounded us, which felt intimidating. Later, another owner contacted us and spoke in a threatening tone, placing blame on us rather than attempting to resolve the issue. No apology or follow-up was ever provided.

This experience left us feeling humiliated and discriminated against.

Based on our experience, we do not recommend this venue to families of colour, particularly Indian families.

breakfast, great coffee at breakfast, aircon and ceiling fan, big, comfortable reception lounge, near beach/foreshore. The not so good; no disabled access to pool, the room service app didn’t work, the phone in room was broken, and when I went downstairs to the restaurant I was told it was shut for painting. I didn’t have a car and the nearest cafe was too far in the rain. No microwave available, no biscuit with generic tea and coffee, all Netflix etc are not provided, $15 per night for parking (yes I didn’t have a car but this wasn’t mentioned on booking), the buffet breakfast was cold, no butter available (some cheap ‘spread’ was there). I believe that the high cost of the room should have provided better quality of options.

The stay was on 27th November to the morning of the 1st December 2025. In a nut shell the room was the best we ever stayed in , the food so mouth watering and the service excellent by all the staff and if we may mention a few that went what we believe was beyond the call of duty.

Receptionist named Luke was so helpful on the telephone enquiry we made that helped with parking, booking in etc and it made our arrival flow easy.

Lady staff member named Tracey in the dining room was absolutely brilliant and so accommodating with her advice and service that made meal times something to look forward to she is an asset to your company.

Another Lady staff member named Robyn at reception. We could not have asked for a better staff member to get advice from as to the happenings going on each day, what to see with out fail etc Polar bears the dolphins show and making sure we got to see the dolphins and my wife Julie was ecstatic having her photos taken with them.

Last but not least was Brett the concierge. We have stayed at many hotels in our life and can say without a doubt he was the concierge we have had the pleasure to meet. Helpful, polite , very knowledgeable and a character to .

Sea World is without a doubt a place to stay and enjoy what life has to offer, fun Happiness and memories for ever

entertainer’s interaction felt awkward and forced and failed to build any natural rapport, leaving the kids standoffish and unsure how to respond. The costume looked very cheap and unprofessional for the price paid.

A trainee was assigned to the event but did not engage or add any value, which made guests question why he was there and added to the overall discomfort. A tug-of-war activity was set up in an unsafe spot among playground equipment and rocks, resulting in my son falling and hurting himself. I had to step in to manage the situation, which should never have been necessary.

The atmosphere was so strained and awkward that I ended the entertainment 20 minutes early, though I was close to doing so within the first half hour. The mood of the party noticeably improved and relaxed once they left.

For the price charged, the service did not meet basic expectations of professionalism, engagement, or safety. I would not book again and sadly would not recommend this company to others.
