was a telephone conversation with an AI receptionist, I could hear office noises in the back and voices mummering, obviously to sound like it was a busy office but sounded fake to me. I asked the receptionist 'are you AI' and she responded 'thanks for sharing' the dead giveaway was when she read my phone number back to me in a very robotic voice. Sorry I just don't like AI. I wanted to get some advice so I paid the $295 which was for up to an hour and I selected a teams hookup meeting. I was emailed a link to the meeting and at the appointed date and time I waited for their lawyer to join. 10 minutes after the start time nobody had joined the meeting and I disconnected and rang the number provided on the meeting email. Not a good impression to make. They were extremely apologetic and said that the meeting would be rescheduled, what could I do so I had to accept. The following week I received an email from the person I would be talking to asking if they could ring me that day for the meeting and I said yes. They rang that day and the call lasted 17 minutes and took some notes and they suggested I contact the Environmental Protection Agency. I thought that this was a bit odd for my situation and rang the EPA, it was quite embarrassing for me as the EPA firmly stated that they did not deal with my type of situations at all. In light of this I emailed the lawyer I spoke to and advised the outcome of the EPA call, they replied that it was disappointing that the EPA would not help me. Their email included an offer of further help if I needed it but I was not satisfied with the information that I had been given by Go to Court Lawyers for the $295 I paid. I rang them again and said I advised I was not satisfied with their service and was advised to send them an email about it. I emailed Go to Court Lawyers with my concerns and not wanting a full refund I suggested a 50% refund instead. Almost 3 months later Go to Court Lawyers have not even acknowledged my email. Go to Court Lawyers are not a good service and give poor advice and do not give refunds. AVOID.

Henry Carus is the same, they did get back to me and said they could not help. So much for their catch phrase" You deserve more" I believe that it was because it was not a big enough case for them, because it would never have gone to court. lawyer. I could use their templates, draft my documents and initially I had a lawyer who was professional and helped me with my contracts as per my plan. My latest experience was quite different. I drafted my terms and conditions document . I booked in a call with a lawyer. She reviewed the document and told me that there wasn't too much to fix that she could do it in 2 hrs for $900 or I could book another meeting. Being a bootstrapped founder who has done corporate law I said I was fine and will make the changes she recommended and book another meeting. The updates were minor. In the second call we probably had 10 mins of discussion as somehow I had inadvertently deleted the paragraph numbering making it hard for both of us to discuss the paragraphs. During this discussion she did show me how to use Lawpath Ai to check paragraphs. In the second session with paragraph numbering inserted we went through most of the document. There were only a few updates. I had noted the Warranty section from the template had to be updated as the Lawpath template inserted a paragraph for a physical product not a Saas product like I had. As time had run out (30mins ) she said for me to book another session or she could complete the paragraph. Given my unlimited advice plan I booked another session. She knew I was about to launch my product and needed to get the terms and conditions and privacy statement finalised. I received a response from Lawpath that my appointment was rejected. The lawyer had said she has had 3 appointments with me and that any further advice would be a 1:1 formal legal drafting -of the warranty paragraph and she would supply a quote. I was shocked. I provided a complaint to my Lawpath Account Manager that I was suppose to get unlimited consults in my plan. Over 1.5 days later at 5.30pm my Account Manager responded. She said "While there is no strict session limit, if the lawyer determines that the support extends into substantive legal drafting, detailed clause analysis, preparation, or ongoing revisions, this generally falls outside the scope of standard consultations. In those instances, the lawyer will discuss the most appropriate way to support you through a separate legal service solution." In my case she gave me no option and we are talking 1 paragraph. A paragraph I rewrote using Lawpath AI in 2 mins. I asked for where in the term & conditions and advertising does it say that call are capped under the "unlimited" calls subscription. It doesn't - it says (buried in the fine print in their terms and conditions) a lawyer can refuse a consult but Lawpath will assign another lawyer if that is the case. This was not the case. I haven't heard from the account manager since - now 3 days. My account renews shortly. You can't cancel online as they no longer have the free version. I lowered my subscription (upfront ) to the second tier ie templates plus Ai - who needs unethical lawyers who leave you high and dry when you most need them. The Ai deep thinking is good. Just ask their AI how it works and you can see the level of data that has gone to create it. My advice is buyer beware - the Legal Advice Plan does not provide unlimited consults. In fact is is lawyers using aggressive sales tactics to get customers to pay them. Once they have done 3 consults like my experience they will reject the appointment hoping to force you into a position to pay (you have spent time with them to understand your business). Lawpaths "unlimited" consults as shown in all their advertisements is false, misleading and deceptive and a breach of their own terms. Their lawyers don't work to the model their advertise. As a Fintech founder myself this has been a very disappointing experience. To be honest it is shameful for a founding company to do this to other Founders.
