OUR EXPERIENCE: The removalists were determined to go as slow as humanly possible taking small single items one a at a time. They shifted the truck to the rear laneway and insistent in taking large bulky items through narrow staircases (against advice and direction to not do so) - when easy, stepless access was available - they did this to deliberately slow down the move. It also caused significant damage to both our items and the property. (a point we repeatedly told them)

The Customer service agents said they can and will dismantle furniture. They got 2 hours into their move and told us they don't do this - which we then had to do whilst they hang around. They were selective in what they did and didn't dismantle - and when they did, they lost screws and when putting it back together did so without the critical components - and said 'Job Done'

They also packed the truck in such an inefficient way that they stated they needed 2 trips - adding at least another 2 hours - add this to the over 30 toilet breaks, being on their phone the whole time and talking behind our backs in Portuguese (yes, a friend could translate what you were saying).

In total, we had several pieces of furniture ruined, including a fridge, plus damage caused to the property we were leaving. Dealing with customer service agents for compensation is the opposite to when they are trying to secure your business - 3 weeks on - no refunds.

It's easy to look elsewhere - you'll save time, money and stress!

increase in under two years. During this period, there have been no upgrades, improvements, additional services, or meaningful changes to the facility, security, access, or overall offering that could reasonably justify increases of this scale.

These increases appear wildly disproportionate to inflation or ordinary operating cost adjustments and give the impression that long-term customers are being exploited due to the inconvenience and expense involved in relocating stored belongings elsewhere.

A near 70% increase over this period raises serious concerns regarding the fairness and reasonableness of these charges, particularly where there has been no corresponding improvement in service or facility offering. I am currently reviewing my position under Australian Consumer Law, including provisions relating to unfair contract terms and unfair business practices.

It is also impossible to speak to anyone apart from the person who answers the phone, who is useless and cannot rsolve anything or answer any questions, or escalate my enquiry to anyone. They just keep insisting on a 'feedback form'.

Further, I note that equivalent storage units of the same size are currently being advertised by National Storage for substantially less than the amount currently being charged to existing customers.

With appropriate notice, both myself and my family easily accessed the box as needed over this time and everything was in great shape. A week ago, I reached out to end my lease with them, and the box was delivered and picked up again promptly and without fuss.

With all the security cameras and security to enter the property, the thief/ thieves will be on camera and self storage can either help identify and give the information to the police via my event number to save them time or at least start watching the footage. I am absolutely livid, I literally paid to have my belongings safe in storage only to have them stolen.

The facility advertises 24/7 CCTV, PIN-code entry, security and peace of mind. I relied on those representations when choosing to store my belongings there. Despite this, a significant quantity of my property have been stolen from my unit. Photos to show just how much was stolen

Cannot recommend All In Self Storage highly enough. Brenton at Pascoe Vale is always so helpful with any our needs and the facility is spotless and very easy to navigate after hours. Prices are very competitive too.

My host echoed the same sentiment: Spacer works exceptionally well for both hosts and renters. When I needed to terminate my space early (since my new place has a double garage), there were no issues at all. Both the host and Spacer handled it seamlessly, and Spacer quickly refunded the balance of my prepaid rent (since payments are made a month in advance).

Special shoutout to Clarisse, the customer service representative who assisted me with the termination process. Her professionalism and efficiency were top-notch. It’s no surprise that her name pops up in other reviews as well—clearly, she’s a star on the team! Management should seriously consider recognising her contributions.

raise prices as often as they can for long term customers while giving new people a far cheaper rate than those who have remained good paying customers. Very poor business strategy. I have no idea how they even rate where they do. Obviously ratings based on short term storage, dealing only with the staff at the branch. You might start at $200 by the end of that year it will be $250 and so on. The workers are great, head office are a pack of vultures.

back rate hasn't changed since 2019 based on other reviews - they will return your call when it suits them, never pick up the phone, never text, email or leave a voicemail to follow up... and then accuse you of being hard to get in touch with - even when you send them the call logs showing the opposite.

The boxes come with other people's stickers and tape, and are bent out of shape with clear lines of use, but the company will accuse you of being the first to bend them out of shape. The boxes themselves are fine and easy to put together, but the company itself is so hard to deal with I would go anywhere else next time.

I organised box pickup multiple times and they failed to collect both times after I waited around all day without so much as a text to say they weren't coming. Then after flaking the second time, they billed me for an extra three months of hire - they charged $300 before they emailed or called to notify me, and I had to threaten VCAT and seek consumer affairs advice before I was able to finally organise them to pick up their property and return the money refunded. This is for property I desperately wanted to return. I had to hold onto the boxes for so long I moved them from place to place! Completely dishonest and shady behaviour.

I was so disappointed because the box quality is fine and it's a great business model, but I will never use this company again.

a delivery drivers was fine, everything went smoothly, I really like how the designated dates of pick up and drop off accurate, Clearly communicated to you, and not unpredictable. The only downside, which is understandable due to the large distance being travelled, is that you have to figure out what to do for two weeks without furniture, because despite their best efforts to give you accurate pick up and drop off dates, it’s still doesn’t address your personal need for a place to stay and furniture/bedding in the meantime whilst you wait for your POD to arrive at your destination. Bear in mind, this was for Brisbane to Adelaide, quite a far interstate move. It may be a shorter wait time for short distances. Long story short, I would definitely recommend PODS, The only issue you need to figure out is whether or not you should book an Airbnb/hotel/stay with family/friends in the interim! Oh, almost forgot to mention, the cost saving that you get. I imagine is because they don’t help you load or secure the stuff in the pod at all. So make sure you have some muscle/elbow grease/friends/family ready to help you pack heavy stuff like fridges and couches, etc.
