comfortably fit in the seat even with the newborn insert removed. My child would scream every time he was placed in the seat because it was so tight around him. I then had to purchase a 0-4years car seat from another brand and my child was instantly more comfortable and no longer upset when placed in the car. Personally I believe these capsules are a waste of money and are much too expensive for the very short amount of time that they are able to be used. We also purchased because we thought being able to move the capsule from car to pram would be helpful if our child was asleep but never actually did this because our child was never asleep in the capsule due to discomfort. I recommend going straight for a 0-4years or 0-8 years car seat rather than wasting large amounts of money on these pretty much useless capsules.

Go for it – Happy that I decided to purchase Mico 12. My son sleeps in 2 minutes once he's in the capsule.

recalled. Do not purchase this car seat! Others have also experienced this issue and have also been ignored. The customer service is appalling, I have contacted maxi Cosi asking for a refund via email and have not received a response. They are aware of this issue and recently pulled the product off the shelf when I went to baby bunting to check my car seat but after visiting baby bunting again yesterday to question them regarding this issue they have recently changed the fabric due to how unbreathable it is but didn't address the head flop issue with the base of the car seat is still so low. Australian consumer laws entitle me to a refund as the product is not deemed safe and I have state this to maxi Cosi. This company does not care for the safety of your child, please invest your money else where as I have wasted $500 on this car seat which I can no longer use!

something on the smaller side without compromising on safety and this one meets all of our needs! It’s fairly easy to get our little one in it - considering the size of our car - and super easy to adjust. Cannot recommend this product enough!

all on the one walker frame so don't need to remove baby from carseat capsule if asleep just pop the capsule onto the stroller/pram frame. Looks very stylish and great quality. Just bought the twin stroller now as another unexpected new grandchild already. Would highly recommend this brand. this seat is slim, it takes up a lot of room behind the front seat. The seat is very deep and as a newborn baby’s head was not well supported. I will need to buy a new car seat quite soon. Baby cries every time they are put in this seat and it’s quite difficult putting baby in.

Cons from practical perspectives: - requires two hand to turn the seat. Sometimes the seat isn’t facing outwards and if you are carrying your bub then it’s hard to turn it facing you. Also if you are driving and you wish to turn your bub around (eg while sleeping to prevent head falling forward), you cannot. - it doesn’t have the recline, I find this feature useful especially when your Bub sleeps and want to give a bit of an angle sleeping. - still a bit wobbly after things are all clicked.

Great Booster – Great booster chair. Not to big, but still has support and comfort. I love the way the seatbelt fits under the handle so it doesn’t cut into the kids. Highly recommend

removable wheels if the company doesn't stock any parts in Australia? It's extremely frustrating. I regret my choice, as other brands provide easy access to replacement parts, making them a far better option.

Don’t bother – Front wheels very flimsy, they don’t turn properly. Constantly pulls to one side. For the amount of money spent, totally not worth it. Would be better off getting a $99 pram from Kmart.

Meg was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. Although the part I needed was out of stock, she took the time to check my warranty—and to my amazement, it was still covered under Maxi-Cosi’s amazing lifetime warranty. That kind of peace of mind is rare these days!

Since the part wasn’t available, Meg arranged for me to return the product to Baby Bunting for either a full replacement or store credit. The whole process was clear, fair, and handled with care.

in the pram their head is pushed so far forward that its terribly uncomfortable for them. We got one use out of it before it broke and now we cant use it and are left without a stroller. Such an utterly horrible pram. DO NOT BUY!

Happy with the product – My child feels quite comfortable in the seat.The seat seems to be made of good quality materials and I like the design. Thanks good I haven't tested the safety of the seat in a real situation.

causes it to stick. Dry lubing sliding mechanism helps to get it to fold/unfold...why am I doing this though? Product would be easier to manage for shorter people, aka not 6ft to have the handle slider and folding mechanism as separate settings. You need to release both and then let go of the handle slider button or you're lifting at maximum extension, which makes it hard to get to the final click of the folding legs. If you need a dual stage button go for push slide for the thumb... Instructions don't match what you actually need to do to get it to fold in and out... an intuitive design shouldn't need instructions...

It isn’t practical for a newborn as is sits upright and doesn’t tilt all the way as shown in the instructions. The head rest on the newborn insert is not adjustable and the baby is just slumped in the seat. Looks so uncomfortable for him. When you adjust the lever for the shoulder straps, the buckle area gets tight while the shoulder are still a bit loose. Very unsafe! My son is now 3 months and he still hates it every time he has to be in it, and I hate it too. Wish I spent money on a different one
