They haven't approved the claim yet, nor have they bothered to keep me updated "every 20 business days". I've lost confidence in this company and will most likely seek a more professional company to handle my insurance needs in the future. Went to the there IDR department obviously they found that they hadn’t made such claims in the policy and couldn’t verify If I was told that or not. However because it took them 10 days to return my call in the first instance they offered me $500 as a gesture of good will, and the goodwill gesture will expire 22/12/2023.
If I had the opportunity again in 2008 to turn $40000 into $500 I wouldn’t do it again. Would you ?

Read morepine etc has nothing to do with getting screwed by painmed sa and while waiting on pain med and not being able to weight bare on my left leg and can’t feel I my right leg g&b did not provide any phisio or treatment at all leaving me carrying my body weight through my arms and hips but say it has nothing to do with my injury Waiting 3 months plus for medication reimbursement and instead of helping me go through change of medication they let me go through withdrawal from one med while changing and adjusting to another and while still under medical assistance through g&b in the 3rd year they did nothing to help me and I was referred to the public system where they are actually giving me help and trying their best for long term management and said that painmed was negligent in letting me doing the med change at home in the first place due to the risks are voiced with the withdrawal I missed a call from my case manager while going through this and sent a courtesy message to say I’m sorry but I’m not up to talking at the moment as I am going through bad withdrawals due to pain med change she replied and said thanks it was nothing urgent and to call when I feel up to it They put in there report that I sent the message but left out the fact it was a courtesy message replying to a unscheduled call they left me for a total of 6-7 months with no phisio at all carrying all my weight through my arms and swinging my hips to get my legs where I needed them Then to top it off cancelled my at home phisio that they mentioned and suggested in march ignoring my phisio s calls emails and requests for additional sessions at one visit a fortnight So a further 7 months they were supposed to be paying for my rehab that they just left me I am about to be homeless in 3 weeks the mental issues they have cause that can not be compensated are unbelievable and they give you a 5 day deadline for paper work but took 7 months to mock up their report and put in the lies necessary from their paid assessment staff and rejected all consequencial injuries saying it has nothing to do with back surgery slipped discs and nerve damage They have admitted they don’t want to pay out on seriously injured worker but yet I can’t leave my house more than once a week at best They are happy to take billions in premiums but genuinely injured workers get screwed over I worked 6 nights a week had a normal life was 3 weeks off buying my house when I done my injury I can’t leave my house It is more than likely. I will never work again I am trying to survive on a disability pension and they are doing all they can to only compensate for lower back surgery and upper digestive everything else they rejected which by time I pay lawyers Medicare and Centrelink take their cut I will be still left homeless unable to work and would have lost everything I ever worked for I have been honest all the way through but they are doing everything to make me look like a liar and discredit everything even changing their assessment report 6 months after it had happened Using the words upon reflection I over exaggerated by hip mobility on physical exam where she used all her tools and measurements things to saying that upon reflection visual examination was much greater mobility and gave a degree and percentage of my mobility through the look she kept giving me Through the corner of her eyes but the measured ones are less accurate upon reflection Now I have to go through tribunal and as previously mentioned it’s the sa workers tribunal that g&b work for If you don’t want to pay out on injuries don’t bloody get into work over insurance I should be up for a golden glove award for acting is this is all fake and what they say is true

Underwriters need to look at their criteria as this is an extremely common result for women - doesn't mean much except docs will monitor. I was told "maybe next year if you get a clear result" - ridiculous as this isn't how pap smears work. Disgusted at the lack of knowledge and will be cancelling my current policy and never touching again.

Almost impossible to cancel the policyI am having the hardest time trying to cancel my life insurance policy. Here we are in Mach, I have been struggling to get the policy terminated since December, that's 3 months! Not there yet!
In order to cancel the policy th... Read moreey insist you provide a notarised identification by a JP, or other person certified to confirm ID. One must print out your passport or driver's license whereupon said person must stamp and sign the hard copy. My problems... 1. I don't have a colour printer! 2. They claimed to post out the forms and passport hard copy twice. Clearly, it never arrived, blaming Australia Post! 3. They established ID by phone, so why are they needing further confirmation? 4. I changed my address by phone, so it stands to reason they can accept termination of a policy by the same rationale! 5. When calling the phone call centre one goes through the usual ID verification process, ok. The difficulty is that the whole story must be explained AGAIN... But what if you can't find a way to get across the line? I asked to be put through to the senior manager. This led to 4 hours of my time trying to get my policy cancelled... No joy still! Iknow you must think, just go to Office Works and print the thing! 6. Problem is that there are many forms to fill out, way too many! You don't get them ALL at once! 7. They don't call you back if phone reception drops out! 8. They don't let you know you have not completed the process, to their satisfaction! 9. It's like they really make it close to impossible to get them to help you properly, or at all! 10. Why don't they use a digital signature service, like the banks?
