rain caused damage to my house. Initially the experience was great. The Salesman was knowledgeable, explained the solution, offered advice on the next steps and the quote was good. I almost accepted this quote on the spot, even without the generous discount.

With a quote this good I hoped that if I bundled a roof replacement with the quote, I could put all my rain issues to rest for the next 15-20 years. So I asked for quotes on roof restoration, partial replacement and full replacement. They agreed to quote but never came back to me with the quote or any explanation.

I chased them up for over 4 weeks before finally giving up. I would've accepted a change of heart but that was never communicated and even my attempts to be amicable about the situation was also met with silence.

This wasted weeks of my time trying to organise what should've been professionally straightforward.

order. 2 tips if you are going to place order with them: 1) The click and collect address need be carefully selected. Even their website allows you to do, does not mean you will get the items there. Ready their site limit details. 2) Their contact phone is useless, which i did get any luck no matter how many times you call with voice message left. Instead their customer support email works well. warranty not there problem fobs off to who installs who the guttering as they are the ones who placed the guttering up on the house. Back and forth with excuses on all sides. While I fully understand a warranty on house no one cares on fixing or replacing if proved to have been done incorrectly. The company who fixed and replaced a section said it was done incorrectly and said the guttering company did it wrong. Great report by the guttering company who gave me the report and said you should send to the company who did it in the first place as they should do it or pay for so I did this , but this means nothing to them and they ignored even asking if the report could be sent to them. All sides refused to fix a simple job due to poor workmanship. What I find hard is the report I sent to guttering company who placed up the gutteing stated send to the builder but they did not place the guttering up so the customer keeps getting treated very poorly back and forth. Guttering company no care factor at all as it is them who did the job. The guttering company know they are in wrong as they placed up and the man I spoke to said he could not do anything after reading report as over warranty time. Yet they did the job. I actually asked if he could contact the owner of stoddarts but he had no idea how to contact with them so he said. This site has horrible reviews on this company. Its a shame this company does not fix problems when a report states job done incorrectly. A simple solution to repair a mistake they did. No care factor as all. And reading reviews seems to prove all this

who understands the quality triangle will know that you can have something quick and cheap, but it won’t be very good. That’s exactly what we got. The lowest quote of three and completed a four-bed house in one day seemed impressive. The holes left in the roof and damaged tiles were the hidden cost I never accounted for. The icing on the cake was then denying it was their fault and saying “it must have been like that before” when they were up replacing gutters but not mentioning the holes they had seen at the time (even if holes had been there, it’s poor form to not mention observed roof damage). If I had taken before photos there would have been evidence but, of course, why take before photos for ‘trusted’ tradespeople? As well as this, Utter Gutters had been engaged to fix a problem with the old gutters causing water to enter the roof due to the fall. Despite briefing that they knew how to fix the problem, the fitted the new gutters exactly like for like. No change in fall! Eventually someone came to fix this but moaned that it was all too hard and tried his best to convince me that it was the house that was wrong – not the gutters. In the end, the price was low and I’ve learned my lesson. I hope this review helps before you have to learn yours.

I recommend that you never use this company. If they had tild me that I would save around $200 by spending almost 2ok, i would have never gone ahead with the instilation. written quote request. Fair enough — I submitted it as requested. Nearly two weeks passed. No response. I submitted the request again and waited another ten days. Still nothing. No quote, no acknowledgement, no explanation and not even the courtesy of a reply. Nearly a month wasted trying to get a company to tell me the price of a product they sell. If Stramit Adelaide doesn't want the business, that's fine — just say so. Completely ignoring a customer twice after specifically instructing them to submit a written request is exceptionally poor service. Three quote requests, zero replies. To call the customer service substandard would be generous.
