questions, I'm met with impatience or annoyance from tradies. That was absolutely not the case with the team at Your Local Roofers. Every interaction was professional, courteous and respectful, and they took the time to ensure all of my questions were answered. From the very beginning, Michael was knowledgeable and transparent when providing the quote. Alex kept me informed throughout the process with regular updates, and Josh, Charbel and Konnall completed the work with exceptional care and attention to detail. What impressed me most was their commitment to doing the job properly. When they ran short on materials, they returned on another day to ensure the work was completed to the standard they expected rather than rushing or cutting corners. In several instances, they reassured me that certain additional work wasn't necessary, ultimately saving me money rather than trying to upsell services I didn't need. It's rare to find a team that combines professionalism, honesty, quality workmanship and genuine customer service so well. Thank you so much!

problem altogether (it’s honestly felt like dealing with pirates), I was determined to do things differently this time. When a recurring issue came back, I asked a lot of questions to find someone who could give accurate, well-thought-out and timely answers.

Tyron was our first contact and he was exactly that. He answered every question, put us at ease and clearly explained how the issue would be fixed. He also sent through all their insurance paperwork without being asked and made sure we’d ticked every box when choosing a roofer, so we knew we weren’t going to get scammed. My husband always insists on three quotes, so I went back to Tyron with plenty of follow-up questions, and it was never a problem. Even after we took a while to get back to him, he came out again to revise the quote for some extra work we wanted.

On the day, Andrew and Tim arrived, and they were just as lovely and professional. Three great people from one company! They were the ones on the roof doing the hard work, and it showed. They took the time to listen to our problems, understood exactly what was needed and offered a fix straight away. Their knowledge of which products work best for each situation gave us real confidence that the job would be done properly this time. When I asked about some facade repairs, Andrew gave me an honest opinion on whether it was worth doing rather than just upselling. They worked efficiently and carefully, and took before and after photos so I could see exactly what they’d done. After years of having to take roofers at their word, that transparency meant a lot. Before leaving, they even used a leaf blower to make sure everything was clean and tidy. You could tell they take genuine pride in their work.

They genuinely put themselves in the customer’s shoes and work out the best solution with you. I’d 100% recommend Tyron, Andrew, Tim and the team to all our friends, family and anyone needing a roofer. They’ll be our first call for any future roofing issues!!

Had leaf guard installed. Easy to communicate with the company & overall a job well done

rain caused damage to my house. Initially the experience was great. The Salesman was knowledgeable, explained the solution, offered advice on the next steps and the quote was good. I almost accepted this quote on the spot, even without the generous discount.

With a quote this good I hoped that if I bundled a roof replacement with the quote, I could put all my rain issues to rest for the next 15-20 years. So I asked for quotes on roof restoration, partial replacement and full replacement. They agreed to quote but never came back to me with the quote or any explanation.

I chased them up for over 4 weeks before finally giving up. I would've accepted a change of heart but that was never communicated and even my attempts to be amicable about the situation was also met with silence.

This wasted weeks of my time trying to organise what should've been professionally straightforward.

Have used Brar Roofing last time for a roof restoration and been very happy. So ask them to do a minor repair for broken tiles and loose ridge cap. … Read more

After seeing the photos of roof, JB called and explained that my ridge cap is done using "butter ridge" method instead of typical overlap method. He was patient to explain there was underlined issue: the whole butter ridge (connect end to end) would likely to continue to slide due to pointing deterioration, and would require many follow up repairs in coming years. He would still be happy to do the minor repair just rebedding the loose ridge cap, and leave me to decide way to repair.

After many researches, we found this was indeed common issue for butter ridge, and decide to do the property repair of repointing and seal the ridge cap gap. Happy with the results, and Brar Roofing attention to detail and honest approach was much appreciated.

slipped roof tiles, fixing uneven and poorly sitting tiles, repairing three leaking areas, installing a new VELUX skylight, cleaning the roof and repointing the ridge capping.

From start to finish, the service was spectacular. Nick was very professional, honest and easy to deal with. He explained exactly what needed to be done and, most importantly, there was no upselling. He only recommended the work that was actually required, which gave me a lot of confidence.

The team completed everything with great care and attention to detail. The leaks have been properly fixed, the roof looks much cleaner and better maintained, and the new VELUX skylight was installed beautifully.

For the quality of workmanship, professionalism and honest advice, I found Sydney Roofers to be very good value for money. I would highly recommend Nick and the Sydney Roofers team to anyone needing roof repairs, leaking roof repairs, skylight installation, roof cleaning or ridge repointing in Sydney.
