Great job – Blaine from PlumbFirst removed a 3,000lt water tank. Connected a down pipe to a drain that required a dig and removed the water tank's water pump, connecting its piping to town water. All done in just a few hours. Job well done.

metropolitan told me it was a major job and they need to access in through the wall behind the kitchen, remove ensuite tiles to fix. Called in another company who fixed it in under 2 hours from the kitchen side and cost me $350 in total. If it was that easy why didn’t metropolitan fixed in when they attended site???? I have attached the original review and the new repair that Eire plumbing fixed for a third of the price. Metropolitan you should be so ashamed of your lack of customer service and over the top pricing. Absolute money grabbing rip off artists. They should be shut down.

running faster, which has been slow running for a long time. It cost me 430 dollars for half an hours work-just poured some acid down my sink and replaced about a foot of pvc under the sink. They say you are told cost upfront but no I just signed for him to whatever I was not told the cost upfront, then when I got the bill -I threw a mental so they gave me 100 bucks off. Still ripped off,I had to sign an agreement that I wouldn't plaster their charges all over the internet. Well I guess I was rewarded for not putting this review on the net, but still overcharged. Beware SA drains and their affiliates--SAME DAY TRADES.

I required gas to electrical conversion and installation of hot water heater complex , always an expense needed careful consideration , took over ten hours ,Lawrence did a fantastic job as Naijj electrician did an amazing job they are both lovely people and know how to do their job ,makes a difference . quoted me $19K to reline 14m of the pipe when 20m was required. I got a few more quotes and another plumber that came out a few days later re-did what was apparently already done as he said "he couldn't leave it in that state". I submitted multiple complaints and no reply. The plumber that I went with cost me less than half of the $19K for 20m of repairs (not just the 14m which would not have fixed the problem) and I was able to have a functional bathroom and kitchen again within a few days

He tried to tell me that hydro was different to the jetty and that the hydro cost more but that wouldn't completely work in my situation and might need to rip up toilet and floors to find out - what?!! vanity waste. I terminated the contract after the tap replacement which cost approximately $1,100 which was done in under 15 min as I did not feel this represented fair value. I declined the vanity repair and subsequently had the leak fixed which required the replacing a simple sealing ring for under $100. I requested an explanation of the pricing, but the response did not address my concerns. As an NDIS participant on a limited budget, clear, transparent pricing and good value are particularly important to me. Based on my experience, I recommend obtaining several detailed fixed-price quotes before committing to plumbing work.

Only thing disliked was the generic text that the operator was on his way at midday when he really had to travel from Victor Harbour and have lunch prior to arrival. 90 plus minutes later he arrived to install which was only 2 hours.
