in there, and everything was soft. Started having some issues with the ice maker last year, the hopper had broken away from the mount, only a small piece of plastic holding it in place. Samsung sent out a new one. But then the ice tray wouldn't dump the ice, but the fridge kept trying to fill the ice tray, causing water to be pooled at the front of the fridge. Spoke with Samsung multiple times, did some trouble shooting with them, but now they have refused to send someone out to look at it. At the moment, cannot use the water dispensor, and had to pull out the ice cube trays. Just this week, the hopper broke again the same way, discovered a piece of plastic in my drink. Not sure that I will ever buy another Samsung product now, thought they were a quality brand

Cons Unreliable. After 2 months the motor would start making a surging noise and then stop.Took it to be fixed under warranty. They kept it quite a while. Got it back and it worked OK. Two years later,it has the exact same problem. Clearly, they didn't fix it properly initially or this is a problem with Samsung Vacs. The dust bag can be awkward to click off and put back on. You have to line up the dust bag exactly to click it back on. Sent a complaint to Samsung 5 days ago by email and haven't heard a thing back.
Comment Avoid Buying Samsung Vacuums as 2 years longevity of the product is not satisfactory.

error codes. Freezer back wall both sides all frosted. Intial technician assessed said fridge faulty. Fridge at 5 degrees and freezer was at 0 degrees. He recommended an exchange of unit. But Case Manager insisted ice maker only needs changing. When I refused as I had been experiencing further issues and reporting back to Samsung theirs more issues then the ice maker prior to the technician coming out. I didnt want technicians coming every week to assess and try to fix issues one after another. technician know is been rebooked to come out next Friday. However the case manager told their agreed company to change freezer wall and pcb unit only. I explained to the staff memeber that only a re inspection has been organised again by the case manager so a detailed report is written outlining all the issues. She was suprised to hear that and said the instructions were clear. I emailed the case manager who said he only organised an re-inspection. So as to who the technician company came up with detailed descriptions of what needed to be chamged i have no idea. Thats when i literally flipped and thought why am i even going through all this stress. Already been 3 weeks. Apparently the case manager is the highest level i can reach who isnt listening. Literally Samsung for me is disaster with poor service and bad customercare. . Only in respect for myself im not using the case managers name. But the technician well he was amazing. Knew exactly what he was doing. Wasn't his fault that Samsung hadn't provided him with all the details from the beginning. SOMETHING I FORGOT TO TELL THEM WAS IT WAS USING UP ALOT OF ENERGY TOO as displayed on the hub. That part of the hub works I suppose. Today i emailed Samsung customer services and to case manager Formal letter of complaint as recommended by consumers affires. Im literally upset mostly due to the lack of communication and poor response time ive been repeating my self since the 27th of January the day after i raised my initial concern. I purchased directly from Samsung and traded my $7000 fridge. I thought buying directly would provide better service. Im so over it. If they offer me a refund I will simply take it.

motorised brush failed in the first week after purchase (Feb 2024). Despits being spotless after clearing debris it constantly brought up errors. I suspect it's a design fault. The worst part is going through Samsung support. Going back and forth with Samsung support, each time being asked the same stpid questions, asked for video evidence, after which I had to drive it in for repair. At what stage do they bother with a refund and recognising it is a faulty product? The motorised brush head has now broken down again a 3rd time along with the smaller one that I've used as a temporary measure. I'm not going to bother going through support cycle again. $500 down the drain.
Update: don't bother with product review mediation. Even after mentioning that it failed immediately after purchase, and having taken it into repair to their service twice already, these jokers are asking me to jump through the same service procedure a 3rd time JUST to prove its faulty BEFORE asking to escalate it to another "Voice of the Customer" department. What kind of sick consumer advocacy joke is this? How about you just replace the freaking faulty part altogether and straight away rather than make the customer jump through a thousand hoops?
I'll take the loss but won't be buying any products from this company ever again. Just remember, this product lasted 1 week before I had to take it into repair. $500.

stopped operating properly. This has been very frustrating because a ducted air conditioning system is a major household installation, and I expected it to last much longer without this kind of serious fault.
I contacted an air conditioning technician, and I was told that E320 is a common issue on some Samsung systems. The technician explained that the unit may be repairable, but also said there is no guarantee the same problem will not happen again in the future. That was especially disappointing to hear, because it suggests the repair may only be a temporary fix rather than a long-term solution. I then contacted Samsung Australia for support. Their response was that the system is outside the 5-year warranty period, so they would not cover it under warranty. I understand that warranties have limits, but for a built-in ducted air conditioning system, I believe consumers reasonably expect better durability and reliability than this.
What concerns me most is not only the fault itself, but the overall long-term dependability of the product. When a central air conditioning system fails with a known or common issue and even a repair technician cannot give confidence that it will remain fixed, it raises serious questions about product quality and suitability for Australian conditions.
At this stage, I am left paying for diagnosis and repairs on a system that I believe should have lasted longer. For a premium home appliance that is installed as part of the house, this is not the ownership experience I expected. Based on my experience, I would urge other buyers to carefully consider long-term reliability, repair costs, and after-sales support before choosing Samsung ducted air conditioning.

65. I was sceptical at first because the motor is so quiet on the low setting, but the suction is fantastic. I only have timber and tiled floors and the low setting does my whole house without a problem. It has an attachment for pet hair, which is a must for anyone with animals. I am over 70 and got muscle cramps when holding down the button on my old Dyson, but this one has a very easy on/off button, which is my favourite feature. Needless to say, I love this hand held cleaner and I don’t think there is a better one out there for the low price of $223, which is what I paid.

off during normal use. The battery performance is also poor and did not last more than a year, which is unacceptable for a product in this price range.
The vacuum head is poorly designed, and the wheels on the head are fragile and prone to breaking. On this occasion, I simply picked up the vacuum to do a quick clean and parts broke off — it was not dropped or mishandled in any way. Based on the damage, you would think it had been thrown against a wall, but that was not the case.
Overall, this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a Samsung product. For anyone considering this model, I would strongly recommend spending a little extra on a more reliable brand with better build quality and battery longevity.

There have been some teething issues, but we have worked through them. 1) we bought it at a reasonable price. 2) we had some cleaning issues and a drainage issue. I then actually read the manual. Since then we stack the dishes according to the images in the manual (now cleaning properly), we clean filter more frequently and both drainage and cleaning improved. I place my utensils in the tray as picture in the manual, now cleaning properly, I found the middle tray was not seated into the back water channels properly.. as per manual instructions.. now cleaning better. We have had the dishwasher less than a year, and I was worried. The performance is now quite good and I will monitor progress. In the case of this dishwasher, I found reading and following the user manual helped significantly. Your experience may differ, I am satisfied so far with the dishwasher.

customer service. On reflection, at least we had a few months decent use out of the unit, so that was a better experience than dealing with Samsung which has been overwhelmingly unsatisfactory.
The unit would be awesome if it wasn't inherently flawed, there are plenty of threads online with people trying to work around the problems with it.
So having taken the unit out to their authorised service people and having been told to expect it back in a week to 10 days, Samsung had no contact for about 3 - 4 weeks, after following it up it gets escalated and oh yes it needs a new motor but there are none in Australia and none on the way. Samsung wont replace it as they have no stock (as at Feb '26) and they wont organise it from a retailer like Harvey Norman who seem to have stock albeit at a higher price, and Samsung will only pay back the purchase price paid to them and not the cost of any aftercare warranty etc.
The kicker is to get the refund they seem to need up to 30 business days (6 weeks) to be able to make a payment, after the customer has satisfied all of their requirements.

followed up for a full month by email and phone, and got no where.
So I request a refund, the online customer service team (very polite) were helpful in channeling me back and forth, to get the refund lodged. I had to repeat the same process 2 weeks later, as I didn't get any feedback from the 1st request. 2 weeks after lodging the 2nd refund request, Samsung did get in touch with me. Unfortunately, it was to advise me that they cannot refund back to the credit card, instead can only refund to my back account, plus I would have to adhere to Samsung's process timelines which is in effect to wait for another month.
In short, Samsung took my money, no service installation ever occurred, and the refund process takes another 2 months. :-(
Key points: 1. NO SERVICE!! and installation partner would never call!! Why keep me waiting for a month? Seriously, if Samsung could not provide the service via its delivery partner network, Samsung should tell me right away. Kept me waiting and I followed up again and again, until I got frustrated waiting and went away. Calling a local to get the insulation done is much better than even thinking of Samsung. 2. What an absolute Joke of a Refund service! Just to clarify you are holding MY MONEY in which SAMSUNG FAILED TO PROVIDE SERVICE, and SAMSUNG thinks it's legitimate to take a very lengthily refund process. (1.5 months since commencing the refund request process, im still waiting). And why cant SAMSUNG just refund back to the credit card? Why does SAMSUNG have policy to prevent to easy refund back to the credit card in which original payment was made? SAMSUNG's excuse that its a material amount thus their policy states otherwise, is simply not good enough.
As I see it Samsung management are intentionally withholding / delaying the refund to get free interest!
In Summary NO SERVICE + NO REFUND (In total SAMSUNG are holding my money for 2.5 months). WHY bother with Samsung? I should be sending Samsung a penalty interest bill for being so slow. Pls note I have been very patient, waited and waited and waited and had enough. MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN TERRIBLE.
SAMSUNG'S MANAGEMENT are at FAULT for letting this level of experience take place!

this fridge is the one thing that has broken. I wish I did more research prior to purchasing this fridge as now it's apparent that this problem we are having is a common occurrence. The Ice dispenser is not dispensing ice and the ice flap that will usually open when dispensing the ice is opening and closing continually. After one night of it opening and closing it is now making this horrid screeching noise along with the noise the flap was originally making. I have called The Good Guys to put in a warranty claim and now awaiting a call from Samsung for someone to come and fix the problem. Quite frustrating as we now have to listen to this extremely annoying sound over the weekend, The Good Guys tell me I should hear from Samsung on Tuesday given it's Friday today. The other thing I'm stressed about is the fact this has happened so early on, how many more times is this going to happen!? I hope not ever but I don't like the odds of that given I have only had this fridge for 1.5 months! My last fridge lasted 16 years before it died on me, I was so excited to start fresh with this new fridge and have a nice long life with it! Now I'm just feeling stressed and anxious about my purchase, is this something I'm going to have to deal with for the life of the fridge!? At the moment I'm feeling really robbed as a customer and honestly, I wish I could just get a refund or an exchange as I have lost all hope in this product. I understand that a refund isn't really on the cards and the company have an obligation to fix it but at this stage all I'm feeling is buyers regret, it's not fair that a customer doesnt have the right to a refund straight off the bat on a product that has a known fault. Extremely disappointed, frustrated and annoyed to say the least.

in 2020 as I did for old one in 2007. At first sight fridge is striking black making an eye popping contrast in a white kitchen (so much for white goods). For size it is surprisingly big inside, shelves are adequate but feel light weight. On the negative side the freezer section only has two drawers and no small third drawer or ice maker. I like the new invertor technology which is very quite and hardly any cracking or expansion or contraction noises (not like the old one). Not a big deal but I notice that the door does not swing out as far as my old one did and does not have an open door alarm which I thought was handy. I bought it on special at the Goodguys and reasonable value for money at that price. A neat one to two person fridge.
