Cooranbong. It all started when I questioned why the monthly advisor fee had to go up 16% when the inflation rate was less than 3% at the time. Newly retired, I can't watch that sort of money leaving my account every month when all we get is an annual 'catch-up' and no communication during the year - not even answers to emails. We decided to stop using the particular advisor (and thus leave Invest Blue) and withdraw our investments from MyNorth. Since then it has been a painful process of having to remind the advisor up to 3 times to answer my emails which have contained questions and sometimes instructions. Excuses have been 'holiday breaks' or 'illness' which are fine but most professionals would set up an autoreply. Answers sometimes come at last and are short and abrupt. The latest email request has gone three weeks with several reminders from me. This time there have been no responses and not even any lame excuses. From the reviews I am sure Invest Blue is generally a good company, but PLEASE don't put yourself through the pain of going to their Cooranbong office.

FACTS:

1. 07.06.24 3.20pm My email clearly stated I’m sure you respect that, with contradicting terms please accept the $15,000 on the basis both parties are happy with the final offer. 2. 07.06.24 4.40pm [Name Removed] called after receiving my email and confirmed Derek my 2IC and myself on this call that the $15,000 was based on the deal settling. (3rd attachment) 3. All our conversations were subject to the independent valuation coming in at $4m+, this was stated in every conversion we had regarding the valuation as your "offers" were based on a 4m+ valuation. (Hence [Name Removed] requested and accepted the valuation for the commercial building) 4. I never received any/final loan offers from Maxiron "The lender" to sign, besides an email on the 18.06.24 at 9.47am with [Name Removed] advising the establishment fee was reduced from 2.8% to 2.4%, 2.8% had never been tabled or advised. This tactic is purely to justify your fees. 5. 19.06.24 9.56am, [Name Removed] texted myself “Maxiron has advised the loan approval has an expiry at 5pm today. Need to know if this is an option for you. (Formal offers have a legal time frame)!

[Name Removed] and [Name Removed] accepted the $15,000 based on both parties being happy with the terms as per my email on 07.06.24 3.20pm, [Name Removed] also called immediately after and confirmed it was based on the deal settling, my 2IC of my Company Derek, was in this phone call.
