only positive. The feeder constantly blocked, and after a while the exit chute would block too. Had to constantly turn it off to clear jammed material. I calculated it would take hours to process, so instead I got the lawnmower out and ran it over the lot and it was done in 10 minutes. So the supposed purpose designed machine failed where the humble mower designed for something else left it for dead. Completely unfit for purpose and very poorly designed. Don't buy this junk !

Leaf Blower. I believe that her choice was based on her having a quick search through my workshop, where the majority of battery tools are Ozito. This blower is AMAZING! I'd not thought that the air blast could be that powerful , but not only leaves, but small branches, gravel, small stones etc, all succumbed to the blast and the back verandah is now uncluttered pristine brick paving! the larger ones just jammed the tube. The machine has a very weak suction, even at full power, and is apparently designed like this so that it does not suck up pebbles and gravel, which will smash the impeller. The result is that it is almost useless for mulching debris that is not super-light and small.

time I go intending to purchase a Makita cordless tool but come out with an Ozito one because I just can't justify the price difference. This driver is great for weekenders and diyers like me. It hasn't quite got the same speed as a Makita or Milwaukee, but still has enough power for jobs like hanging plaster, installing decking, building a timber pergola with big batten screws, etc etc. It's been dropped, bounced and thrown from great heights but still goes strong, the switch works fine, battery connection is solid and doesn't make any funny noises!

out camping etc. Obviously it's not going to cut a full load of firewood or a 20 inch hardwood log but it's got plenty of power for the occasional user. I like how it's very quiet, and how easy the chain is to adjust. The chain doesn't seem to get a lot of oil, but as it's a slow chain speed compared to a petrol unit it probably doesn't need a lot. Battery life is adequate with the 4.0AH batteries (why you would even consider using a 1.5AH battery I don't know...) and it's very solidly built.

thicker pieces of timber. A couple of downsides - the dust bag is for show only and practically useless and before using the saw, make a couple of practice cuts to ensure the saw is cutting at 90 degrees. The first saw I bought had to be offset by around 8 degrees to get a perfect square cut (even with the saw table offset to the max). I returned this saw to Bunnings and they had no issue to provide a replacement. The new saw still needs to be offset by a couple of degrees but nowhere near as bad as the original saw. I figure this will be an issue with these saws and a result of a low price. 'You get what you pay for' right? The upsides - it's cheap, does what it's supposed to do and has a 3 year warranty. Overall, a positive experience and happy with Ozito.

rejected due to having found a hair in the impeller. Hmm that pump was sold for grey water duty and we had used them in the past! Initially my expectation was that if we got 4 months out of an Ozito, it would cost me the same as the $$$$ Grundfos which normally services our needs for 5-7 years in the past.

Much to everyone’s surprise, the trusty old Ozito kept on going for five years, pumping out a grey water tank every day without fail. Naturally, I replaced it with the same. Let’s hope to another five years of service.

Shall update the review in years to come :)

pergola and as long as you have a decent blade it can handle 45mm thick pine beams, particle board benchtops etc. So far no complaints. Obviously it's going to struggle with hardwoods or a blunt blade so you need to be sensible on how to use it. It'd be great if Ozito made a 36V version.

the instructions and I was disappointed when one snapped. The stand had nominal use and was still otherwise in brand new condition but out of warranty. I was more surprised by Bunnings response as clearly these handles don't meet the NZ Consumer Gaurentees Act standard of being fit for use, and also for the cost of replacement of the retaining assy. I fabricated a handle and have since made good use of it.

breaking and freying. On the 3rd use I changed the cord to a thicker one and it worked great. The handle is a bit short for me as I am 180cm tall but I only use as an edger so no lifting or bending. For the price I think it is easy to use and works well and is quite light . It beats using our petrol one as I find it hard to use. I recommend this product for small jobs.

at the start of work, often needing to awkwardly pull it back slightly to get it started Then the power of it, I instantly swapped the default blade to a Irwin Weldtech and was having issue with it getting bogged down.swapped again to a Diablo and still the same issue. Now I am talking about cutting 200x50mm sleepers so it's quite a task for a small saw, but it's still enough to make me look elsewhere now. Besides those two issues it has been great.

for cutting green timber. The included ones went straight into the bin. For $109 in machine and two blade pack for $20 australian I would be happy if it lasts a season. Using it on the farm for a few months to clean up a lot of small tree and branches around the house before fire season. First day It did very well, I even cut through some 150mm timber. I am 71 and have arthritic hands which makes a chainsaw impossible, not much pain at end of day, no trouble guiding blade with this saw. Compared to my petrol pole saw this is a little easier. And it will run off my 1kw generator for where a power cable will not reach. I will update this review if it survives the season or it dies. Hopefully the blade holding mechanism has been improved in the years since the other reviews.

update so far half a dozen trees cut into small lengths, a ton of the thickest bits went to a friend by trailer. bent a blade. broke a blade. third blade is 300mm long and has cut logs 200mm thick. no problems

It has quite a well organised case and every thing that you could need including a flex shaft about 700mm long.
