for Aldi with their bags for free after paying for it at the counter .
I asked the guy at the self serve section of the store if he could help me with a replacement. He told me my bag was old ( I knew this) and they no longer sell them. I wanted a gratis bag having just spent over $200 at the store. ( I am a regular customer) He offered me a flimsy box, told me he was 'busy' in a tone ( he was busy) I was busy too.
He gave me a box that did not hold my purchases and had a side removed which meant the products fell out.
Really?
How much was a replacement bag?
Doesn't Aldi make any profit?
Where is the good will and the advertising I would be doing for them still?
It sounds petty but it is indicative of an attitude to customers... I will take my regular custom to Woolworths across the road because Aldi you failed to keep me by dismissing my plight and failing to see where helping a senior would be in your interests because I would have told my friends a good news story.
NQR Grocery Clearance Store
NQR is OK overall... but my local Sunshine store is annoying: -Prices often aren't marked (not always their fault... as some people come along and… Read more
remove price tags) -The price at the register is wrong ~50% of the time I shop there. Customers shouldn't have to point out errors to staff. The errors are almost always in NQR's favour. Typically a lot of the stuff on special isn't in the system. -A lot of stuff never gets marked down... they just throw it out. This isn't normal practise as other NQR's mark their stuff down just before it reaches expiry (they improved this a bit since I last complained). -Some stuff is dearer at NQR than at Coles next door e.g. Christmas cakes (which have been on the shelf since last christmas) & toilet paper.
Both myself and the staff are getting tired of correcting prices because it happens so often... although they haven't complained.
Suggestion Currently NQR have no incentive to fix the incorrect prices. They need to be a bit more proactive e.g. Offer a reward for incorrect prices... or provide the item for free (Coles does this). The prices will get fixed really quickly if they do this.
It would help if customers could view the price of the item as it is recognised by the cash register. Currently only the cashier can see the screen properly. A lot of shops show the price to the customer as it is scanned by the operator. This means the customer can notify the cashier if an error is spotted. Otherwise you have to scan the receipt after you've paid. Then the operator has to type in the receipt number and manually process a refund. This is especially annoying if there is more than one item to refund and you end up processing two (or more) refunds. Adjusting the screen so you can see it helps... but one of the operators told me off for touching her screen.
This kind of pricing error is costing customers $$$ as it's obviously happening to a lot of people. They really ought to fix this... or at least improve it significantly.
These problems seem common across most NQR stores... as a lot of the reviews have the same complaints.
Interestingly... the Derrimut NQR store (only a little further away) is much better: Expiring stuff is marked down there more frequently and there are fewer pricing issues.

2nd time I’ve order and once again 100/10 i’d recommend!!! Amazing customer service and fantastic quality of products available and fast shipping. My favourite place to order online!!
Foodland
When you purchase a "Traditional Mr Nicks Chorizo Paella" and you receive long grain basmati rice instead of the traditional paella rice, it speaks volumes of how over rated rip off this establishment is.

the very fine print showing this and asked for disclosing this to customers. They seemed unaware and interested to take some action, but they are still selling the items with no clear warnings or disclosure. It used to be that venues clearly advertised that they sell halal products so consumers were aware and had a choice. I am unaware of legal requirements but am disappointed that no changes have been made. Suggest think about where you buy food, and or read the fine fine print very carefully as this could be happening in many shops. Rspca have clear views on this.

didn't have time to argue your scan price and shelf talkers being different, I'll wear not watching to see which specials scan and which don't like the 3 for $2 pasta packets, I let the off pork shoulder roast slide because I really should have brought it straight back that day of purchase. They were kept in an open chiller and was in date but clearly not at correct temperature but today while using the self serve checkout I was abused by another customer. There were 3 lanes open and full, the express lane and one self serve register that had no one lining up when I got there. I had a total of 21 items, a bag full. I couldn't find shallots, I now know that this store calls them eschallots. This cranky old lady stepped in and couldn't find them either ( she was lined up in express mind you). Then she yelled at me for being too slow and having too many items. This is after staff yelling instructions at me too throwing my concentration off and made me slower. All this after shoplifters making a commotion. This store is not safe and I never listened to the elderly who said they'd never go but now I do. I'll patronise other stores and maybe Hervey Bay instead.

cleaning product. It came in small trigger bottles or larger containers. As it needed to be strong for my application, I called to check if all of the sizes were the same strength. Cleaners Supermarket checked with the manufacturer for me and found that small trigger packs were diluted. I asked to change my order but either there was a mix up, or I was too late and I received the diluted version. Cleaners Supermarket sent me out the proper stuff, without delay, at no charge. To be fair, it was the manufacturer's fault anyway, for not putting this information on the containers.
I am very impressed with the support I received from Cleaners Supermarket and would highly recommend them.
