I couldn’t fault the promptness of the order delivery to perth and the condition of the phone was excellent. The free phone case and screen cover was also a nice bonus touch. Data Recovery specialists. I rang both companies. Both were professional and polite, but Payam Data Recovery (Brisbane) were also kind and had a very personalised approach. We were put in contact with Scott the amazing Data Recovery Technician who was very reassuring and really seemed to care about our situation. All communication (on the phone, in person and via email) was clear and effective. We were kept up to date at all times and our data was returned to us (yay) in an efficient timeframe. She told me that the crack in the back of my phone was serious and needed fixing now and how lucky I was it was still working. $299 I was told would fix it. $496 later once I returned an hour later and was told it had to be done. Once I left the store my phone never worked properly again and my credit card became compromised and needed cancelling. I then had to get a whole new phone. Avoid this store at all costs!!!!

his stuff and recommended i pay an extra $70 for them to glue a screen protector onto my new screen claiming it would offer better protection than any store bought screen protector I applied myself.

After picking up my phone I realised my stylus no longer works. I hardly ever used it anyway so I wasn't too annoyed about it except I felt the repair guy should have mentioned it may not work.

Fast forward a year or so later I had chipped the screen protector at some point and there's a bit of dirt getting under the edges of the screen protector and it's starting to break a little bit round the edges. I figured if it's glued on it should still offer some protection right?

Then a few months later, this morning I pulled my phone out of my pocket and the entire screen protector had come off in one piece. If it were actually glued on you'd think it would have come off in pieces leaving pieces of it attached to the screen right? I don't think they glued the screen protector on at all and it's a bit of a scam. You pay $70 with the expectation you'll get much better protection and then they just apply a $10 protector you can buy and apply yourself.

While I would recommend going to see them for screen replacement I wouldn't buy into their glued on screen protector recommendation.
