the first time & the fan made a loud noise after 1hr of cooking. I recorded the problem on video & contacted HN. They were easy to deal with & got onto Euromaid asap. [Name Removed] from EM called me & it was a wierd & unproffesional conversation. Once I mentioned the cosmetic damage he told me the warranty was void. After much back & forth they have organised someone to have a look at the faulty oven yet continuously threatening that i will have to pay for the call out fee. This has taken over 8 weeks & I've finally got someone coming next week if they show up as the last repair team didn't. It's not easy being without an oven & the lack of customer support & gas lighting is verging on psychotic. I highly recommend NOT buying from Euromaid as it's not worth the trauma. Love it – Hi, I love my Model GG 90 S but tonight when attempting to start the oven, it lights fine but when I let the knob out, it goes out. I thought perhaps the jets need cleaning?? But I cannot work out how I get access to them? Can anyone help? Thank you

dish racks just rust away and are just ridiculously expensive to buy. Two racks and your half way to buying another machine. I'm going back to a Miele my last one was 5+ year's old and still going well but we decided to "upgrade" What a bad decision that was.

you want to DIY they're 4V bulbs so you can't just go down to your hardware or auto shop. I've ordered similar spec bulbs online for about 50c each but will have to make up the wiring connections, and don't know how they'll fit. When I googled 4V led bulbs, the euromaid replacement range light was top of the search results, which indicates it's a common problem. Go figure as to whether it's a calculated money maker. The fan is noisy so I've hardly ever used it.

remove, dull marks remain over hotplates.

Weeks later every hotplate the glass is dull in places, dull marks and one hotplate where water over boiled is completely damaged, the manual states to clean spills immediately, so I used a clean damp dish cloth only to have the fibers burn into the hotplate and stick.

I requested a warranty claim from the retailer Harvey Norman at Bundall who I purchased this from, they were not helpful and have been of no assistance and refused me a replacement hot plate or warranty claim. They brushed their hands of my complaint.

Their only response was to advise me to purchase Cerapol product to clean the glass and use the scraper. Cerapol is the recommended product to clean marks along with the razor that came with the hot plate. Nowhere in the manual does it recommend to use Cerapol. This should be clear to customers when purchasing ceramic glass hotplates. Stains did not remove the marks completely after using the Cerapol multiple times.

What I believed to be a very fine scratch or stain on the lower right hand side that I could not remove, over several months - this mark was in fact a hairline crack, that became worse over weeks and became evident the glass had cracked in this corner.

The power button is easily turned off if you happen to touch accidentally, there are tiny imprinted markings to show which nob is which hot plate - almost impossible to read, they don't light up. Several family members and friends have all commented it is terrible to try and see which nob will light up which hotplate. Over time I will get used to remembering which nob turns on which hotplate. A terrible design when all said and done.

Overall the operation of this hot plate is not user friendly, the positive is the turn nobs and not touch - accept for the power button which is operated by touch. I specifically purchased because it had nobs that can be turned and not operated by touch control.

I have had a glass hotplate in the past and never encountered such damage to the glass after the first use - especially when it was just water that boiled over! I have a stunning new kitchen and the hotplate looks like it is a 2nd hand appliance within the first use!

My issue was escalated to Euromaid only due to this website and I did receive responses over several weeks which was appreciated. Certainly better service than Harvey Norman at Bundall provided. I was advised a service call will be made and weeks later received a call from local service center company and appointment was made.

To my relief Euromaid have provided a replacement glass top. I am happy that Euromaid have replaced the damage glass top. I am only several weeks into using the new glass top so it is early days. I am extremely cautious now of ensuring there is not a drop of water anywhere on top while cooking. Very cautious now about using a damp cloth immediately to wipe a spill while the hotplate is still warm due to the fibers sticking and making it a worse situation. I am paranoid using this hotplate as it is so easily marked.

It is difficult to give this hotplate a good rating - I am cautious each time I use it as I do not want burn marks again.

I have been advised that the glass used in this hotplate is the same glass used universally for glass hotplates. That is concerning. Over 15years ago I had a different brand glass hotplate and never had the issues I have had with this one.

Euromaid's service:- I cannot fault their service as they have done the right thing by replacing the damaged glass top, it is for this reason I have given extra stars. Would I buy this kind of hotplate again - no I wouldn't. However, I cannot fault Euromaid's customer service dealing with this issue.

that the product (Chef) I was looking to purchase was not available. WORST mistake EVER by me , should have taken my own advice!! This product is (to be frank) a complete piece of junk!!! NOISY - Uneven heating surface - takes it's own time boiling water (even on the highest setting!!). Does NOT cool down as quickly an induction cooktop should. Be very wary regarding this product!!!

UPDATE: As of today (02/05/2026) we have had the service tech out twice to replace circuit boards and the issues keep occurring!! I am now demanding a FULL refund for a very poor product.

The fan forced oven and grill works fantastically and cooks food well.

There is one massive let down that has truly beat me though. The Turnspit assembly is terribly designed. The way the gears are set up, they can’t even turn a 500 gram perfectly balanced piece of pork without breaking. After 3 unsuccessful attempts with trying to have the situation rectified that started 2 months after I got the oven, including 3 visits from the serviceman and a new turnspit assembly, I have given up and unfortunately never had a turnspit roast from this oven in the 2 years I’ve had it and am super disappointed about it. It was the biggest selling point for me and has cost me a lot of time and effort trying to get my oven to produce a turnspit roast.

Overall, great oven and cooktop, just don’t talk to me about the turnspit...

Their customer service have asked for pictures of the broken part which I sent on March 1st. Didn't hear back from them until March 11. I called up again, they said from the pictures it wasn't clear what the problem was and technician would need to come out. Paid $195 service fee for a technician who came in March 17, looked at it for 30 seconds and said it can't be fixed and the whole unit needs to be replaced. I haven't heard back from Euromaid since. I'm tired of chasing these guys and wasting my time waiting for a response.

Stay away! At the end you will end up spending more money on this product than a more premium and quality product from a reputable brand.

It’s so temperamental and nothing responds when you touch the buttons on the control panel. We’ve had electricians come out twice and they did not know how to fix this issue, but it’s too expensive to change a whole new unit. This is not the standard you expect from a $500 rangehood.

beginnings of bubbles in the oven door paint. These grew to the extend that the bubbles fell off, exposing rusty metal beneath. I have now had to repair this issue four times - I stripped back the offending areas, treated the rust and then repainted using heat proof paint. You guessed it - OK for a few months and then the rust returned each time. I would purchase another brand if finances permitted.

The stove needs replacing or to be fitted with engraved indicators like some of the other stoves. This fault is mentioned in the warranty Para 3 "Faulty Parts and Workmanship" by Euromaid.

June 28th 2018 Update: Wot Tha!!

The wife used a steamer on the right rear plate, on finishing she wiped of the water from the steam off the rear control panel, at the same time she wiped of the numbers and letters around the dials.What now? This has to go down as a defect in materials and workmanship? Not bad for a product that has been in use for 3 weeks.

don’t dry, due to humidity. So far it works, but often the clothes are still damp to the touch, or else the dryer works for hours and I have to manually stop it because things are very dry. Maybe I need to understand the settings better, but I prefer an older style spin of the knob and walk away type machine. Also I don’t like the black outer ring and would have preferred silver, but all options had black instead of silver.

found that the seal on the gearbox is leaking water. This is causing water to leak into the motor which in turn trips out the safety switch on our meter box. A number of components beneath the machine have rusted due to the water leak. He deemed it uneconomical to repair as the parts and labour would cost more than replacing the machine. He said that the machine was not fit for purpose and that I should contact the manufacturer. I then contacted the manufacturer only to be told it was out of warranty so they would change me $225 just to look at it. I didn’t want to waste the money so I purchased an LG machine which is coming tomorrow. My advice is NOT to purchase anything manufactured by Euromaid.
