After concerns were raised, the contractor returned and re-did the grout around the vanity, which was completed to a much more professional standard and showed a noticeable improvement.

Based on my experience, I would recommend closely checking all work before final payment, particularly for investment properties. I also felt there was limited proactive communication regarding other areas that may have required attention.

buckled. The manufacturer came out and advised the installation was the cause. Harvey Norman argued the case saying the issue was with our slab. We paid for a building inspector to give his opinion. A four page report from him explaining the issue was with the installers sub flooring. Harvey Norman could no longer get out of upholding our warranty. We chose new flooring. There was no professional conduct from Harvey Norman or the installers. We had to continuously follow them up. Farhad the Thomaston Harvey Norman salesman had a habit of saying he will come to our house and just not attend and not call to let us know. The installers are no better. They won't give you a time they're coming and then when you chase them up after staying home half a day they say they are short staffed so will come another day. Zero professionalism from them both. We finally had the new flooring laid and there is an issue!! The floor has air trapped underneath so it cracks and makes noises when you walk on it. You can see, feel.and hear movement under your feet. The installers said the issue was with how the plastic underneath was laid. The solution put to us was that they would lift the new flooring a third time and just take the plastic out. Keep in mind this would then void the manufacturer warranty should anything else go wrong. We sent the installers away and told them to speak to their boss. Harvey Norman salesman from Thomaston finally agreed to request the manufacturer to come out. The manufacturer advised us to give it a couple of months and see if the air naturally comes out and if not to call them back. Not one apology from Fahad the salesman at Harvey Norman Thomaston. Only excuses and no shows. We have been messed around an exponential amount of time, lost days off work, moved our furniture twice, pulled our flooring up twice, had the sub flooring grinded off and redone, a house full of dust and we still have issues. No apologies, no compassion, no compensation, no follow up. That's the treatment you can expect. DO NOT BUY FLOORING FROM HARVEY NORMAN THOMASTON - GO TO A PROPER FLOORING SHOP.. do not allow Harvey Norman to organise installers . The incompetence is very overwhelming.

On two separate occasions they have come to repair and its still faulty. They Insist that it's not under warranty even though it is a 15 year warranty. That's very dishonest behaviour.

Refused to talk about helping us until we removed the poor reviews as they don't want the truth to be told.

First they blamed our moping, but I bought the exact machine they recommended, to clean the floors.

So they blamed the wheelchair. That's right our wheelchair

Brad gave us a clear appraisal of what we could expect of the floor polishing process, as well as a very reasonable quote. He and his partner, Paul went out of their way to accommodate our very tight schedule to get the job done before our move-in dates. The work was done cleanly, carefully and efficiently- and with no toxic odours. We're absolutely in love with our original oak floors - the house feels so warm and welcoming now.

Dale is a complete professional at fixing carpets. I was extremely impressed with the repair done on our pink stained carpet. I cannot see at all where the piece was replaced. Immaculate work. Excellent communication on the job too

After realising there was a problem with the courier the team were quick to chase it up and were really friendly in the process. I’m happy to rip up my bedroom bamboo flooring to put carpet on so they could use my bamboo floor boards to repair the ones in the entrance. This might be the cheapest option. I can’t get Astoria back to have a look and recommend what I can do. I have to repair these floor boards and need advice on who to contact now ? I’m not happy about cleaning them either.
