installed on the side of my house and explained in detail to the telephone receptionist the circumstances of my request and asked if there would be a call-out fee. Was assured this would only be charged if the work could be undertaken and I decided not to go ahead with it. When the polite electrician arrived, he did a quick review and ascertained my request was not possible — he was kind enough to try and get me out of having to pay the call-out fee (which was the fault of the telephone receptionist); but this was not possible and he was sent back to get money for a job that was not possible. Do not book-in unless you explain in assertive detail exactly what you want, and you have absolute clarity and assurances that they won’t charge you fees unless the quote you request is *actually* possible to achieve. They will throw all sorts of excuses at you; hurl them right back until you get a written assurance via e-mail that they will not charge you unless the quote is possible, achievable, and reasonable. Clearly they make money out of ripping people off like this.

UPDATE I've now taken a star off my initial 5 star review. The electrician who attended was 5 stars but the Certificate of Electrical Safety wasn't issued within a month as it should've been. It took over 6 weeks and some chasing up which isn't ideal. The people I spoke to on the phone were nice but no one called me back to follow up. After another call and email the COES was supplied that day. While all this was a bit of a hassle, I was happy with the actual job.

Dale responded to me straight away and came to do the job within an hr despite his busy schedule he fit me in between jobs. Friendly, polite, job done well and very accomodating.

Thanks to Kai and the team for an easy and efficient installation. Top marks to Ali who kept me informed during the installation with calls and photos, following up to ensure I was happy with his work. Great service.
