Google Mr Emergency Plumbing, Metropolitan Plumbing and Upside Down before you call them. I hope you've gone down along with Mr Emergency which is now in administration.

JFK Electrical Solar & Air
We had a Sigenergy solar battery and some Jinko panels installed a few weeks ago. My partner and I had been looking for a battery for our existing… Read more
panels, and through SolarQuotes.com.au we were recommended three installers. One of them was JFK Solar, which we decided to go with as they are local—just down the road.
We requested a quote, and within a day we received a very detailed, in-depth proposal recommending additional panels and a large battery. We had initially been interested in Tesla, but since our house is three-phase, there would have been some limitations with the Powerwall 3. After doing some research on Sigenergy, we found that although they are relatively new, they provide a large amount of information and resources. So, we decided to choose this option.
They advertise finance options, and although we enquired about it, we didn’t receive any details, so we went with another finance provider. Once we obtained the funds, I emailed JFK Solar, and within two days they had a date ready—just before the Christmas break. That timing didn’t work for us, so we rescheduled for the new year, and a week later they had another date available.
On installation day, they arrived on time (6:30 a.m.) with a small army—friendly and straight into the job. The power was off for about half the day, which was understandable given the size of the job. Before leaving, they showed my partner all the ins and outs, and they were done by about 3 p.m. The battery and inverter area are clean, tidy, and well presented.
As I have an attic ladder, I decided to take a look. They placed warning signage at the top of the ladder, which was a nice touch. However, I did notice the cabling looked a little rushed—it’s not really run along beams or tucked away. Instead, it’s strung like Christmas lights in flexible conduit from point to point, crossing the attic ladder. I feel this could increase the cost of installing an attic floor or room later, which I do intend to do. Existing conduit from the previous wiring was left unused and empty in the roof.
Payment was easy, though I recommend caution. They use Xero accounting software, which makes everything simple—point and click. However, when I went to pay the large amount for the system (clearly displayed in bold in the center of the screen), I transferred the money from one account to another, clicked “Pay,” and was told the amount was insufficient. After checking all my details and accounts, I realized that above the pay button, in much smaller writing, the amount included what I assume was a 2% surcharge—adding about $360. That’s fine; everyone needs to make money on services offered, and from what I’m told, JFK is charged for using this service too. They did offer a direct bank transfer option to avoid this surcharge.
I’m very happy with JFK Solar and have recommended them to a few people who have asked about our installation and system.
Conclusion
Overall, my experience with JFK Solar was excellent. From the quick and detailed quoting process to the efficient installation and clear communication, they delivered on their promises. While there were minor areas for improvement—such as tidier cabling and clearer finance details—the professionalism, speed, and quality of the work far outweighed these issues. I feel confident in the system we’ve installed and would gladly recommend JFK Solar to anyone considering solar upgrades.

explaned that the interior walls were very hot adjacent to where the storage tank was outside and that there was a hissing sound. The receptionist took down the details and when the tradesman arrived he went straight up on the roof which I found strange as all the conections were at ground level. He spent a good 10 minutes up there before coming down to look at the storage tank and the pipes that went into the brickwork. I watched all this on my cctv, all he did was open a door on the unit and look inside. His boots were muddy so he went to the hose and dragged it into the garage where he proceeded to wash his boots and flooding the garage and wetting boxes that I had in storage (I have photos). He then came inside without knocking and said he needed to look at the interior walls of the bedroom and ensuite which were hot to touch. Then informed me he would need to knock part of the walls out to see where the leak was and that he would need to shift the furniture but I would have to pay extra as it was on his time. I made it clear I did not agree to my walls being knocked out and that my ensuite was tiled from floor to ceiling and that they probably couldnt be replaced. I told him there must be other ways of finding a leak, he then gave me the name of a company that used cameras. Back to his van to write up a report, this took a good 10 minutes and once more proceeded to wash his boots flooding my garage again before coming inside and presented me with a bill for $253 ! $209 for the 1st 15 minutes (equates to $836 per hour) plus another $44 for the 2nd 15 minutes ($176 per hour) and all he had done was write an invoice. None of the other companys that came to give a quote charged a single cent. I told the tradesman I was paying under duress and I would take it further. It has taken untill 2 days ago for G A Perry to finally refund the grand amount of $40. Their listing under Plumbers on the internet states "no call out fee" and that all costs will be disclosed up front. When I confronted the owner/manager? he said he was at fault for not traing his receptionists better as they failed to disclose this when I rang. I would not have agreed to G A Perry coming out had I known how much it would cost just to quote. This so called "cost" is just a dishonest way of not saying call out fee.

himself. No handshake. He suggested a Hills antenna for $700. It was all so quick I agreed. He removed the old one one which was still working & took 5 minutes. He later deliberately snapped one of the arms off & did not remove old cable from barge board just snipped off each end. Attached new antenna to remainder of old cable running into house. He used less than 2m of new cable. The time at house was no more than 30-45 mins. There was no signal testing or tuning other than than "is your TV working?" Retail cost of antenna online was $150, stand was $49 plus 2m of cable & one joiner. Main focus seemed to be getting my $700 & leaving. I initially thought I was calling a local Mandurah person so was surprised to when I got the invoice to see Perth Company. No offer of pensioner discount. I`m probably more angry at myself for getting mislead.
