The level of professionalism was extremely disappointing. Issues that should have been resolved quickly were ignored or dragged out, leaving us frustrated and out of pocket. Rather than taking responsibility and providing solutions, it felt like we were being brushed aside once the contract was signed.

The workmanship and customer service fell well below an acceptable standard. We expected honesty, reliability, and support for a major investment, but instead experienced delays, excuses, and a complete lack of accountability.

Looking back, choosing Watts Up Solar and Electrical was a costly mistake. We would never use them again and strongly caution anyone considering their services to do extensive research before signing anything. Unfortunately this cost is comprised of the additional supplies needed to complete this work and for the manual labour required. I have attached your original client satisfaction paperwork which shows that the placement of both units was agreed upon prior to the technicians leaving your residence. The work required to disconnect and reconnect a unit is actually greater than the installation of new unit. We appreciate the work you have given us and hope to be able to service you with this request but also understand if you would like to go another direction.

Not happy about the response and the lack of care I sent the following email. You are correct in stating that placement of the unit was agreed upon, I don’t believe that at any stage we were given another option. As you, your company are the professionals you would have thought we would have been advised that placing the unit where you did would cause a problem of over heating the area. At no time were we informed that this would happen. If we had been informed we would not have had a problem in paying extra in having the unit placed in more convenient position. spent time trying to find the fault. He was patient explaining the possible faults and options. His work was excellent and I was happy with the results.

UPDATE I've now taken a star off my initial 5 star review. The electrician who attended was 5 stars but the Certificate of Electrical Safety wasn't issued within a month as it should've been. It took over 6 weeks and some chasing up which isn't ideal. The people I spoke to on the phone were nice but no one called me back to follow up. After another call and email the COES was supplied that day. While all this was a bit of a hassle, I was happy with the actual job.

They quoted $737 just to install an outdoor ceiling fan (not supply the fan as well) - thought this was way too expensive for 30 minutes work. Ended up getting it installed for $150 !!
