We signed up in March 2025 and were led to believe in the normal scheme of things we would have handover at the end of March 2026, however mainly due to a delay in the double-glazed windows and door arriving from overseas (due to a change in government policy making them mandatory and not just an option on new builds) we took possession some 6 weeks later in mid May 2026. seven-month ordeal filled with delays, poor communication, repeated mistakes, and ongoing inconvenience.

The company had to return to our property three separate times to rectify issues that should never have occurred in the first place. At one stage, our handles were apparently given to another customer, and we were not proactively informed about this. Communication throughout the process was poor, with constant chasing required for updates and resolutions.

The repeated rectification visits resulted in significant disruption and multiple days off work on my behalf simply to facilitate errors caused by the company. This created unnecessary financial loss, frustration, and stress throughout the entire project.

While the final product is now satisfactory and the job was eventually completed, the process to get there was completely unacceptable. The quality control, scheduling, organisation, and customer communication were all well below expectations for a project of this scale and cost.

Unfortunately, despite the final completion of the works, the overall experience left a very negative lasting impression and I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

This time no call but an email around 6:30pm that evening confirming our appointment for the day that had just completed. I made 2 phone calls to their service line the next day. They were unable to connect me to service but assured me service were given an urgent message to call me back. Surprise, surprise no call. Now wasted 2 days and 2 phone calls and still no idea when they will do the warranty service. I have no problem with the lift, it works fine. I think their after sales service is appalling. Would I recommend buying from them. No.

forceful, arrogant and a liar. He takes ‘allowances’ for extra trades saying he will refund that money if not used - he then refuses to do so. Once he has your money - which has to be paid in full before the job starts (isn’t that illegal?) he won’t respond to phone calls, texts, or emails. We ended up taking him to DBDRV to get our money back - he treated them as poorly as he treated us. If you need a wardrobe you will get a reasonable end result from this company but make sure you have no dealings with Peter!

This is the greatest lesson I've learned after undertaking 3rd kitchen renovations.

Granite Transformations was abosrbed by Shore Renovations, so it's a whole new team these days and the team at Shore Renovations impressed me from the very start.

They were easy to deal with, design savy, they were there when they said they would be and addressed any issues or concerns immediately.

They even provided advice on ways to reduce the cost without compromising the result.

I would rehire them in a heartbeat.

Dean and Daniel has done a super lift installation job and they were thorough in explaining the safety aspects and the usage instructions. Whole installation was done in under five hours.

NSW AND no matter how many times you set your preferred position for the louvres as soon as it rains and the rain sensor operates the system resets to a default opening position of 30 degrees). The absolute worst part of owning a vergola product is the so called "customer service". Well over a week and three phone calls to get a call back and then no capacity to do anything about my request to be able to set the louvres at my preferred position because "that's the way we've been doing things for decades". Seriously unless you are in NSW which is a separate company consider other alternatives before engaging with this organisation and consider carefully your tech needs before being hide bound by their blunt (as opposed to cutting) edge offering.

a skip bin which was not provided. I was charged for works that had not been undertaken (eg removal of the toilet, when the plumber had already done this). The job was not completed to satisfaction, with tiling remaining in the laundry that I require to pay the tiler to remove, with tile glue left on the floor I spent an hour scraping up myself. After complaint, the manager removed skip bin charge from the invoice, but that was it. I paid the reissued invoice as I do not leave others out of pocket, but I have cancelled this company for the pre-booked removal of my ensuite bathroom next month. I am very disappointed.
