provided detailed requirements covering my current situation, and my objectives. Solarrun provided a timely written response that matched my need perfectly. There was no sales pressure at all – I was left to consider it and ask questions as needed.

I accepted the quote and was given an installation date. They turned up on time without prompting. They completed the work an ensured that I was involved when necessary (e.g. asking when they could turn the power off). All staff had been informed of and knew about issues relating to my property (e.g. a rare and valuable tree).

They arranged for an inspector who arrived the following day, and was clearly happy with their work and compliance with safety standards.

Given the complexity / scale of my system, it is no surprise that there were a few minor problems. They were addressed extremely promptly, and within a few days everything is running perfectly.

My only suggestion is that in addition to their own internal processes, maybe a customer focused checklist would be useful : Checklist - Ensure switchboard switches set correctly (On / Off) - Tidy Up (there were a few scraps left around – quickly cleaned up) - Add system to SEMS app on customer’s phone. - Configure System (e.g. TOU). - Demonstrate App to client. - Explain Web interface. - Advise client of support arrangements.

Clearly there was nothing major, and it went as smoothly as I could have hoped. A very happy customer.

Experienced first grid outage recently and have never been so excited to lose power as home stayed powered on from battery and did not even lose internet while wfh.
