lead I quoted the client. I spent time both by email and two separate phone calls with the client going through her needs and the quote. She accepted. I sent the meeting invitation, for the on site visit and inspection. She accepted. The morning of the appointment she then sent a scathing email saying she DID NOT ACCEPT OUR QUOTE. I have paid for the lead. Don't have exact amount of the lead but in the vicinity of 54 credits. I reach out to the Support team on 15th March - and provide all the detailed information and correspondence with the client. On 26th March I followed up. I was sent a reply email addressed to a different person, (always makes you feel very under valued, when a customer service team can not take the 30 seconds to verify a Christian name). I was then told they had contacted 'the client' (the one who messed me around, wasted my time accepted, then cancelled) and are waiting on her reply. Even though I have sent all the detailed correspondence and dates. I receive a subsequent email, which feels like a delaying tactic, asking me which exact clauses of One Flare's terms and conditions and refund policy I am referring to. I have, just a few moments ago, no lie, received another email from customer service asking me to show proof of where the client cancelled. This info was provided on 15th March, 16th March, and now, for fun, for a third time on 26th March. Who is actually running this show? Cancelled my subscription and these folks can go eat a worm.

paid for the membership, however, after many messages exchanged with several taskers, I accepted one offer, was planning to go ahead with the schedule, then I found out my task was cancelled by the system without any notification or contact attempt to me, I had no idea what is happening, contacted Customer Support (online chat) no reply ... AI assistant said someone would get back to me ASAP ... here is the update, after 2 working days, finally they found out why the task was cancelled, it was their IT error, the payment was however voided, so they cancelled my task and did not bother to tell me neither trying to fix it ... the customer support person apologized to me, asked me to re-open the task and included $50 voucher (my initial $20 new sign in voucher was vanished ...) for me to use ... I have no time to waste with them, so I re-open the task, exchanged several messages then decided to take an offer, so I can get my project started, then, guess what, the voucher was INVALID, I was furious, contacted their online support, again, no reply for 2 days, finally they replied, even asked me what is the code I wanted to use ... (man, it was clearly in the system, and also in the email trail we were following), I replied that person with the clear voucher code, told her to scroll down a few lines and checked our previous email correspondence. Then another person replied, said their system had some bugs, asked me to re-use it again. Yes, I did and No, it is not working! I gave up. Question remains, how much your company paid for IT system and support team?

All these reviews appear to have just been wiped. Have contacted Sensis and they were about as useful as True Local staff were unfortunately.

I hired a seller through Fiverr for a specialised service. I have hired many over the last few years. What I received was work that bore no relationship to the brief provided — dismissive, careless, and demonstrably unprofessional. The kind of output that suggests the brief was ignored because they knew better.
Fiverr issued a full refund after I was abused by the seller as their sensibility was offended by the art they were paid well to look at. I disputed the transaction and they opened a ticket for the abuse. I want to be precise about what that means: their own process determined that the service delivered was indefensible. The refund wasn't a gesture of goodwill, it was an admission. And yet Fiverr continues to host, promote, and take commission from sellers like this one, because the platform's incentive structure rewards volume, not quality.
The refund did not return the time lost. It did not undo the disruption to a project timeline. It did not account for the trust extended in good faith to a platform that positions itself as reliable. Money is the least of what was taken.
Fiverr's model is straightforward, charge both parties, resolve complaints without transparency, and call it a marketplace. Buyers assume some vetting has occurred. But, it hasn't. The platform is saturated with bot accounts, fabricated credentials, an ecosystem optimised for the appearance of professionalism rather than the substance of it. When you can find an actual human, it is a lottery with the quality you will receive. There is significantly more AI on the site that actual people.
You are entirely on your own, and when it goes wrong, you'll receive your money back and be expected to consider the matter closed. It isn't closed. The platform enabled it.
If you value your safety, money and creative content avoid this platform.
