Unfortunately I didn't bother keeping the warranty because I thought there is no way an iron would break within the warranty period. These are very simple machines. My parents had an iron that lasted about 30 years. And Philips has a reputation for reliability. Had...

kettle with no plastic interior — meaning no plastic in contact with your boiling water — this is a solid choice. I’m honestly surprised more people haven’t discovered it.
The interior is fully food-grade stainless steel with no plastic components touching the water. The exterior is a well-made, double-walled plastic housing, and the adjustable temperature control is simple and convenient to use.
Because the inside is fully stainless steel, there’s no viewing window, so you’ll need to open the lid to check the water level — a small trade-off in my view.
I’ve only had it for a few weeks, so I can’t comment on long-term durability yet, but I’ll update my review if anything changes.

one to our friends. We liked it so much we decided to go for a dual draw to make preparing larger meals easier, however this turned into a disaster.
After just two days of using the Philips 4000 Series NA462/70, I'm regretting the $299 spent. The cooking is taking much longer, and the food doesn't crisp in the same way. The point was to not use the oven, yet cooking times now match. The XXL (Single version) could cook veggies in 8 minutes... the dual stacker still hasn't cooked them after 13mins at 200 degrees. Even with a pre-heated basket.
Two days and wish I could get a refund and buy a new XXL that actually performs to expectations.
I would encourage those to not buy the dual stacker, it's a massive disappointment from my usual Philips XXL experience.

silent, if not extremely quiet, the size and appearance is sleek and magnificent and it really does an amazing job and clearing and keeping the air clean. Even my husband noticed the change of the quality of air after only about 10 minutes. And, that is a big compliment coming from him. The Bluetooth is so handy to have paired with my phone. For reference, I have it in the main bedroom as our dog sleeps in the room (not on the bed) since rescuing her in 2021. I originally bought a Digitech air purifier for that reason as she is the first pet I've had to sleep in same room.
I have heard mine for 3 years now and I love it. I surely recommend this product. I don’t have to worry about burning anything and whether I forgot to turn it off. It’s so powerful, my ironing time was cut in half

member who did and were very impressed and intrigued at the possibilities for easier family meals. We went to The Good Guys and looked at the range. The Phillips brand appliances have been great for us before, so we were pleased to see they had an air fryer in the size we were looking for as a family of 5. Set up was very easy. I gave it a quick wash first and we ran it for 10 minutes empty to ensure there was no smell. Then we could get cooking! Our favourite dishes so far are; Roast vegetables- cut up carrot and potato into bite sized pieces and cook for 21 minutes on 180 degrees sling every 7 minutes. Chicken thigh- lay flat and cook for 20 minutes on 180 degrees for a delicious, juicy piece of meat you can use chopped up in a salad or with some veges as a high protein meal. The size is good for our family of 5 (3 young children plus 2 adults). We can make a side or make large components of meals in one use. Cleaning is a breeze. The basket comes out easily and both sections of it fit in the sink for a good wash. Overall we are extremely happy with this purchase. It works well and is easy to use.
I originally upgraded from a Tefal steam generator (which I loved) to the Philips 6000 series (which I hated so much I returned). After more… Read more
research, I decided to give Philips one more chance, this time with the 7000 series.
The 7300/20 fixed every issue I had with the 6000 series: 1. The motion-activated steam can be disabled so you have full manual control (ie squeeze the trigger) 2. The unit holds the iron at an angle - not horizontal like the 6000 series - this is sooo much more ergonomic. It's much easier to put the iron back in the holder without having to 'lift it up' to put it on the higher horizonal platform of the 6000 series. 3. The steam is much more powerful - both in normal use and when using the boost. 4. The actual iron is very light weight. The Tefal iron weighed a lot more and I didn't have an issue with it, but now that I've used the much lighter Philips, I'm much appreciating the less wrist strain.
One minor criticism of the 7300/20: Whilst the 7300/20 holds the iron at an angle on the main unit (like pretty much every steam generator on the market), it's a little finicky to sit correctly. There is a lip on the iron itself that has to 'catch' the lip on the main unit. If you don't place the iron correctly on the main unit, the iron can fall off the holder! This sounds like a very nit-picky criticism - but it gets annoying after a while. I'm used to zoning out watching TV whilst ironing, but I find that every time I put the iron on the holder whilst re-positioning clothing on the ironing board, I'm having to mentally focus on sitting it correctly.
But that one criticism aside, I'm very happy with the 7300/20! It's a marked upgrade from the 6000 series.
Edit: After using this for a month, I've taken one star off. The minor criticism I mentioned at the end of my review has resulted in my iron (the handheld bit) sliding off the base station and crashing to the floor three times in the past month. I now consider this a design flaw - and one that is potentially dangerous.

buying a “smart” air purifier. Dealing with Philips customer service was incredibly frustrating—emails were ignored, and when I called, they showed no interest in listening or actually helping to resolve the issue. There was zero ownership or urgency from their side. In contrast, Amazon handled the situation professionally and efficiently and arranged a replacement without the runaround. Great product hardware, but the app and customer support are a major letdown. Without Amazon stepping in, this would have been a complete disappointment.

good value. It was very expensive for essentially a 'normal' pedestal fan. Of course, it's better quality than a $20 fan from Kmart, but probably not worth $100 more. stopped heating up even though it has been plugged for more than 15 minutes. I contacted Philips customer care and we did some troubleshooting which involves putting the iron on its plate on top of hot towel for 3-5 minutes to warm up the plate. Apparently, the iron has been designed to shut itself off and not heating up if the plate's temperature gets below 20oC. Now if you live in Victoria or other southern states in Australia, you know that temperature inside our homes can get below 20oC anytime during winter. I have raised this design flaw concern with Philips customer service (not based in Australia), and they promised to get back to me on this issue again soon. For the time being, it looks like have to manually warm up the iron before it can warm itself up. What an inconvenient it is. This is a design flaw by Philips and they don't advise anything on this limitation in the manual or on the box of the product. I'm thinking to go to ACCC with this if Philips does not do anything to fix this issue. I'm sure I won't be the only one that has this issue. Philips, you need to be responsible for this issue!

it did not meet expectations. I only used it once a week for normal household ironing, yet it developed problems very quickly and eventually stopped working properly.
The steam output became inconsistent, and the overall build quality feels poor for a product marketed as premium. To make matters worse, the customer service has been terrible. I tried contacting Philips online and by phone — waited over an hour with no response — and also sent an email with no reply. This is completely unacceptable.
For the price paid, this iron is not worth it. Cheaper irons from stores like Kmart last just as long, sometimes even longer.
Very disappointing product and even worse customer service. I will not be buying Philips again.

My mistake was i should have opened it in December then i could have returned it. I am too old to be stressed like this. I should have read the review before i bought this $300 worth of coffee machine i can’t even use. I thought Philips is good, but from the reviews doesn’t seem so, one has the grinder not working anymore only after a few months she bought it. We started with 1 unit, just to test, put in bedroom, and see. We opted for a smarter device, so you can see stats, but also one that was quiet, being in bedroom. What drew us to Phillips was their experience in air filters and this model has a 3 year filter life, something you need to factor into price. I saw lower grade small units, $100, and the filters were $50, same issue with printers these days. Or online cheap filters and who knows if they really are HEPA grade.
Unit price fluctuates so don't pay more than $299 on sale and if you miss the sale, msg JB and ask to honor it, they will or someone else will be selling it for this. We chose the Silver White, it blends in grey with our rooms.
Has it improved air quality? - We believe so and bought a 2nd unit. Time will tell in Winter, if we get sick less. - We have noticed less pet dander also. - We have not fully tested this in places like near cat litter to see if it removes this smell, post reno we will get a smaller unit for laundry. - Unit in main living sits aside kitchen and when cooking its detects and goes into max mode, top of the unit has light indicators to show air quality, if anything shows the extraction fan is useless, maybe they should build filters into those ;)
Pros: - 3 year filter lifecycle >> HEPA & Active Carbon filter - sensor and reminders to clean filter (vac) - night lights on top can be used in kids bedrooms, or turn them off - plenty of schedule options, or just put it into Auto mode. - in default mode its super quiet - easy to connect to Wi-Fi, so many cheaper smart IoT devices are hard to connect these days. - child lock features, all features on device or app
Cons: - unless on sale, prices are a tad high, might not be con but replacement filters are about $100 but they do last 3 years. - it me nice to be able to set timers for the built in light, an idea would be a sensor that can detect motion and make it into a night light.
Some may say these are a waste of money, but Ive looked and inside air quality can be worse than outside by 2-5 times, it may take a good 1-2 years of use to see if less dust inside, or less illness, but at a minimum its a small peace of mind to have.
