where a dentist provides over treatment and suggests work that is not genuinely required. Was suggested to get three fillings - these were not required. After seeking a second opinion, only one filling was required, and surprisingly, was not on any of the teeth they had suggested.

They also referred me to an oral surgeon who was clearly giving them kickbacks with the absolute absurd prices they quoted for a simple wisdom tooth removal.

I’ve been to a TMJ specialist for my clenching and grinding and had several very expensive and bulky splint guards, one was for top teeth which was bulky and then for bottom teeth. (only 10 aligners) my bite was still open. Bitcoin claim that they were restricted by what they could do due to the condition some gum recession yet failed to disclose this to me before taking $4,100+ for 10 aligners. Their website advertises 10 aligners $2,799.

During my post treatment discussion with them it was obvious that they had no intention of providing the service that I paid for and despite requests to continue with the treatment until it's completed or provide a refund so I could go elsewhere, Bitesoft or Alto as they call themselves now have refused.

If there are any limitations regarding the service these people can provide don't expect them to tell you prior to parting with you money.

I lodged a claim with my payment provider which I settled for a certain amount for expediency. I will be lodging an application with Consumer affairs to recover the balance from Bitesoft.

Do not recommend at all. Stay away.

changed. I've been trying to contact them daily for over 2 weeks. The phone leaves you on hold for 12 mins before asking you to leave a message. The chat bot does essentially the same thing. I've left several messages and created support tickets. I finally received a text message asking me to send an email (the address is nowhere to be found online), I eventually got the email address and after sending an email received a response asking to go online and create a support ticket!!! have receded and I've had this issue for 25 years. But I was advised the cheapest and best option for me by previous dentists was to not do a deep periodontal clean because my gums were to far gone and it would cause the rest of my good teeth to fall out faster.

As soon as I sat down she began giving me a deep cavity examination which I didn't ask for. I asked for a examination and clean. I've been there once before. Simply do a normal examination and begin cleaning, it's not hard! Instead she's going all in poking and jabbing me.. .what the hell! Suddenly she stops, and says do you smoke, I say no, she says why are your teeth stained, I say because I drink heaps of coffee and I haven't come in for a clean for over 1 year. She says, come have a look at this... and points towards an xray I did over 1 year ago. The entire time I had with her she was acting like an entitled brat with a smart butt tone. She states she won't clean my teeth unless I do an deep clean which I explained to her that I already have been advised by previous dentists and I'm not going that route of doing a deep clean because it'll be more expensive, I don't want a deep clean, I don't want to be paying a lot of money for my teeth, I'll simply rip them out and add acrylic teeth to the upper denture which I have... What can't you understand, I'm paying you to clean my teeth???? what's so difficult? Secondly from the moment I met her she was frustrated because I wasn't paying attention to her while I was talking to my daughter. Relax, let me speak to my daughter and explain what's going on and I'll attend to the appointment. I was early, no need to be p*ssed about me not paying attention to you. I'm now starting to think if I dated a relative of hers... Hmmmm...

Superiority Syndrome big time

I might add my first appointment with them last year was a general clean, can't remember the dental surgeon but she was young and fast, quick in and out and I could still see the stains on my teeth . She didn't do a good job at all. Lastly, I'll tell you what I'm willing to undertake when it comes to procedures.

I will be taking this further with AHPRA and then when you're sitting in front of the board you can explain your behaviour.

Budderim/Maroochdore Qld operation for 11/1/25. I went online the NEXT day on 2/1/25 to cancel both bookings. I received a confirmation of both cancellations via email. They IMMEDIATELY charged my credit card the total cost of $500.

I have tried to call repeatedly their 1300# (5 times) with no answer. I also sent an email as well as using their “chatbot” on their website. I forwarded a screenshot of the cancellation confirmation received by them via email.

It is illegal to take payment for service/s that have NOT been provided.

It is illegal to take full payment 10 days before service without consent or notification to the consumer.

I now have to waste time going to my bank/credit card provider to claim fraudulent transaction.

I contact the ACCC whom reach out to Smileie Australia and Smileie agreed to settle, however Smileie then disappeared with no contact and therefore the ACCC had had to move into conciliation phase.
