Avoid Optus. Landline not ported for 2 months. Only resolved with escalation to TIO and ACCC – Optus failed to complete the porting of a landline number held for over 20 years, despite repeated requests. Multiple Optus staff provided incorrect… Read more

information, stating porting was "not possible" to the new carrier, even after being reminded of Optus' Local Number Portability Code obligations. Optus' suggested solution was to create a new landline number! Escalation to Optus' Customer Resolution Team (sic) was ineffective. The inability to receive and make calls persisted for two months, creating immense stress for an elderly customer and the landline was only ported after escalation to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (failure to comply with the Code) and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (anti-competitive behaviour), along with follow-up by the new carrier.

providers, i now have multiple phone lines set up running smoothly through a easy to manage system and fabulous help. But ending my service from Faktortel has been very frustrating not only did i get billed last month when i have no active lines, I phoned up and canceled my service to then have a email state i must give 30 days notice to cancel, ( i have checked through my original paper work 8 years ago, this is not stated. In which i was given the impression there would possibly be a refund on funds unused, However i have just received another account after speaking to the account department, i am to be billed last month. this month and next month for a service that i have no active lines with....I have no service, no phone numbers, and no product.Yes and still being charged. I cannot seem to get them to cancel my account and they just want to keep taking money out! What the hell. BEWARE!!!!!! So dodgy!!!

shipped off to India, to a rude customer service team, that put you on hold and don't get back to you, it's literally impossible to connect a service , DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME , pay the extra $10 per month and support Australian jobs , these guys are absolutely terrible at what they do, and I'm not even a customer, and don't bother with the generic cut and paste response southerphone, I'll file it straight in the stiff trash section.

They clearly are making so much money they have forgotten about the little guys. All I got from Telstra was a runaround through different so-called support centres. Pathetic.

Charge a bit more which I get because they arent as big as some others but doesnt appear to be any additional service from the extra cost.

Check terms carefully as they sneek thing in the contract last minute.

Customer support is lacking Account manager often doesnt return emails (does return calls though) Will say things verbally that they will never honor (get everything in writing)
